John was a great DJ for our wedding! He communicated well leading up to the wedding and gave us confidence the night would go well! He played music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and provided connections for my BIL to play guitar for the processional. He was super friendly and flexible throughout the wedding day, and coordinated with us and our photographer through all of our planned moments (first dance, cake cutting, etc). We didn't realize our venue coordinators would leave after the ceremony, but John helped put us at ease with his communication and made it feel like someone was looking out for us throughout the night! He kept people on the dance floor all night and both of our families raved about him the next day. So glad we went with him!

John from DJ for your Day was absolutely fantastic!! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ or experience. From the very beginning, John was friendly, responsive, creative, and great to work with. He truly wanted to get to know us personally so he could make the right playlist for our wedding, while also taking all of our song requests. There was never any stress regarding entrances, first dance, or reception songs leading up to the wedding, which was important since we were getting married in Vermont but live on the West Coast. We made a trip out for our tasting and John even made time to come meet us for some coffee to get to know us in person months before the wedding. Our first dance song was much longer than we wanted, so we asked John to fade it out a specific time marker and he made it happen perfectly! John's energy is contagious and he kept the dance floor alive all night by playing a perfect mix of music for every generation and truly made it the best party we could have hoped for!

John is an amazing DJ! He helped with so many aspects of the planning for our daughter's wedding. He put together a list of songs that kept our guests on the dance floor ALL night - everyone raved about him! He provided just the entertainment that was requested by the Bride and Groom. John is extremely friendly and most importantly, professional - we highly recommend DJ for Your Day for your wedding reception!!!!!

DJ for your Day, especially John, is fun, easy to work with, reassuring and totally professional. He got to know our personal taste and helped create music to completely fit the vibe we were going for. John was also very accommodating to some of our more eclectic music requests. We felt totally comfortable leaving the mood of our evening in his hands and he did not disappoint! Would definitely hire him again!

John was extremely communicative and flexible right from the start. Very organized and made our whole wedding process stress-free and easy. Fast forward close to the wedding, we had initially thought we hired John for our wedding but he did request that one of his assistants take over our wedding. While this was not an issue for us, it is important for people to know. DJ's may "overbook" and you may be asked to have an assistant do your wedding instead of the owner. At the end of the day, we were not overly thrilled with how the assistant performed at our wedding. We had to introduce ourselves to him while he was setting up, there was minimal to no music at cocktail hour (guests said they heard nothing), there was no music while guests were sitting waiting for us to enter the reception (our guests came up to us and even said they had no idea we were even coming in) and our husband/wife first dance and father/daughter first dance songs were wrong. Luckily I was able to catch this mistake and fix it with 30 minutes to spare. This is not something you want to have to worry about on your wedding day. Also we had a request of one particular song that was extremely important to us - and my husband and I were not even in the room when it started. We had to literally run back inside to catch the dance floor. This was really dissapointing. Their pricing it great, but make sure that you are on top and organized with this company. You want your wedding day to be stress-free and fun!
