I talked with Dan the week before the wedding. He was very nice and had good ideas for songs. The music was a little too loud at times. My parents enjoyed that he played some good oldies and even some German music, but he was a little more goofy and cheesy than I wanted. Overall, he was ok.

I talked to Dan over the phone several times before he DJed our wedding. Each time, he was nice, polite, and seemed to have a great knowledge of songs- he even recommended songs for our first dance and the father/daughter dance. He's a great guy, but he just didn't mesh well with our wedding. He announced our names wrong (mistakenly thinking that the name I put on the sheet- my last name- was a typo), played crying baby noises during the speeches, and wasn't energetic enough to get the crowd dancing. Nice guy, but not quite what we were expecting.
