The venue was amazing, the food was amazing, but I had to take off a couple stars because we went with the buffet option and the presentation wasn't very impressive according to what I've over heard from guests and relatives. It's too bad because the food is to die for, but there was nothing special about how they presented it. I was too caught up in everything else to really notice, but I take my relatives' word for it.

Let me start by saying the venue was perfect and very pretty. We leveraged the outdoor patio area for about 50 people. The food was also very good.

Our dio deka event manager was Alex. Luckily we hired our own party planner. Without the party planner our party would have been extremely stressful and would not have gone as well.

It was difficult to get timely responses from Alex before the party. On more than one occasion Alex assured us that the layout would be set up the evening before so we could make the final call on flowers and decor. I made the drive to check out the set up the evening prior. Nothing was laid out as promised, and Alex did not communicate this change to us.

Without our request/consent, alcoholic beverages were offered as doubles to increase the bar tab. This resulted in a significant expense.

The staff also lost personally crafted items for our cake. While Alex eventually covered the expense of these items, I had to push to get this resolved.

If you have a party here, i encourage that you really do your research. The workers at the event were good, but the issues with Alex were concerning. You will absolutely need someone on point to work with the event manager at this venue. I suggest getting an experienced party/wedding planner to review the contract in detail before you sign so you don’t have similar issues.
