We hired a Mercedes van from Delaware Express on short notice before our wedding. The driver was timely, professional, and kind. The van was nice and large, it fit all of us inside comfortably and had room for our bags as well. The driver was even kind enough to deliver a card to me from my fiancé that he brought over after dropping off the groomsmen.

They did a wonderful job...on time, professional and reasonable. No hitches or worries from them :)

Delaware Express provided excellent shuttle service from the hotel to our wedding venue for us. The driver we had was personable, responsive and right on time. At the end of the night our venue accidentally locked the gate before the last few people had left. We called the driver and he found a way to meet us and pick us up.

The shuttle service was great! We had two pick-ups and two drop-offs and each guest had nothing to worry about other than having a great time! The drivers were sweet and the staff was great!

We hired a mini-coach to get the bridal/grooms’ parties to the venue, and a full-sized coach to transport guests. On a day where the weather was in the 80s, with humidity near 70%, the mini coach made not one, but both trips with zero air conditioning. The groom specifically requested that the coach be air conditioned when it went back to pick up the bride, after enduring the 15-minute drive in a hot box. The driver said he would swap out the coach for one with functioning air conditioning. Didn’t happen—bride, bridal party and family were picked up in a coach that felt like it was 90 degrees inside. Windows didn’t open and there was zero air. At the end of the night, the mini coach did not return (although it was scheduled to) and the larger coach dropped guests off at the wrong hotel.

While I have had positive experiences with Delaware Express for airport shuttles in the past, their service on my wedding day was sub par. The company sent a novice driver in a large passenger bus to escort our guests. The driver had difficulty navigating the bus out of the hotel parking lot and onto 202. At one point, our guests reported that the bus driver actually drove over the median, scaring several passengers, in an effort to get on the busy roadway. During the reception, the bus driver thought it would be an ideal time to practice putting the bus in reverse and was grinding the gears on the vehicle so loudly that my parents had to leave the wedding reception to ask the driver to stop,

My husband and I did appreciate our town car driver at the end of the night, who was patient, polite, and courteous. We also appreciated our smooth ride to the airport for our honeymoon. For small parties, I would recommend Delaware Express; however, I would hesitate to recommend the company for escorting guests.
