Me and my daughter Had a photo session and it was amazing, It really brings to life what fine artwork really is and how much it can make a great memory special, This is something that I would recommend to anyone that wants a everlasting piece of art work to hang on your wall That can be passed down for many generations.

Davy Knapp is one of the best event photographers I have seen. He is very professional along with all of his staff. Davy has an eye for all the little moments that most of us are just too busy to notice.
It might take a little longer than you like to get to see your pictures, but be patient, he's a busy photographer. It's well worth the wait.

**DON’T DO IT **
If you won a raffle or free photo shoot, I promise you that you are right; it is too good to be true, and I will explain why and my personal experience.
A year ago from today (09/30/2026), I won a free couple photo shoot me and my wife, but the fiancé at the time were so excited because we just got engaged and had our son. And didn’t have any professional photos done with him yet, so when we got the call that we won, both of us jumped at the opportunity for a photo shoot. Of course, we did the same thing: you probably are doing right now looking up all the ratings and personal experiences, and if this is just a "SCAM,"
And I will be the first to tell you it’s legit all the way until it is time to get your portrait/digital copy of your photos.

We knew it wasn’t going to be cheap, of course, but we wanted more than just the portrait that the package included, so I was able to set up a payment plan, and they would pull almost $100.00 out every month until October 8, 2026, for the payment on JUST our (digital photos we bought), and just to remind you, this all started on October 8, 2025. They told us the portrait would take up to 3 months to get to us in the mail, and then they said the digital photos would take up to 6 months to receive. We both asked why the digital photos would take so much longer than the portrait because they already had the photos done. Yes, we know sometimes editing and fixing minor details is necessary, and we are used to that, but these are just digital copies of the portraits, and we had to look at all the photos and pick out certain ones we wanted.

So fast forward to February 2026, 4 months after, and we had not heard anything from anyone, nor had we received anything in the mail, so we called the office and spoke with them and asked about the portrait and our photos. They informed us that they wait until a certain amount of the payment is complete so that people don’t just cancel their payments or change cards when they get their stuff. Yes, that is a given, but they could have told us this in the beginning, so we had a better understanding and weren’t just waiting the time we were told from the start. The lady was able to tell us we had one more payment until we received our portrait and 3 more payments until we received our digital copies, so that was 4 more months until we received all of our order.
When March rolls around we finally receive our portrait and yes it was amazing the corners were a little damaged but we didn’t say anything because we know sometimes things get banged around during shipping and it was was exactly what we wanted so the good out weighed the bad.
Now June rolls around. Still no email, no flash drive in the mail, not a phone call, nothing. I gave it an extra month until I try and contact them, so on July 11, 2026, I sent an email to this day. No reply. We have tried and contacted someone, and yet still haven’t missed a payment because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt.
But it has officially been a year since we won this, and still nothing, so I post this just to help out the next family. I promise you can find a photographer that will do just as good photos and be way cheaper, and you will get them in a timely manner and won’t be behind the bush about things.
P.S. be prepared to not be able to use your phone inside the building or you will get kicked out and won’t get a refund or your photos done.

Scam, beware! I got a call telling me I’d won a contest and how lucky I was. They offered to do a family portrait and put us up in a hotel. When we got there the hotel had NO knowledge of Davy Knapp covering the hotel bill. When we arrived to get our pics taken we were greeted by overtly excited staff who made us very uncomfortable. I informed them of the hotel situation and they said they would take care of it. But in the end we had to pay for some of it. After waiting for a long time we were ushered into a studio. Some family pics were taken and then the photographer took the kids aside and took their pics one at a time. They would not answer my questions as to why, just said I would see. We felt VERY uncomfortable. I kept asking to see and was told no. We put into extreme poses that I told him hurt. I had been in a car accident and have back, hip and neck injuries along with a traumatic brain injury which makes communication very difficult at times. I told them but was dismissed and felt awful. When we were done we had to meet with someone to go over the pics. They made it seem as if they were going to include the pics of my kids but that wasn’t the case. In the viewing room the sales guy oiled his way around the room. Overly flattering and talking to our kids like a used car salesman. He used every tactic to coerce and push his agenda. He did it on my children!! We were appalled and tried to leave with just the photo we won but instead he showed the kids their pics and told them they looked like CEO’s and that they had to have these pics. They really put us on the spot. He tried to upsell bigger and better but have little wall space we said no. Thousands of $ later we felt manipulated and bait and switched. I cried all night. I called the next day but received no callback. Conveniently they lost the voicemail & no callback. The pics are horrible. Everyone looks like they have chocolate milk mouth. I want a refund! They are so dark and unflattering, no smiling we were cheated!
