Working with Danae was incredible from start to finish! She's so easy to work with and the photos were more amazing than we had imagined. She has such a dynamic photography style that really captured the spirit of both our engagement session and wedding day. I still can't stop looking at our wedding photos, even six months later.

I absolutely love Danae! She did such an amazing job and got so close to everyone so the pictures felt natural and easy. 10/10 would hire her again!

I booked Danae for my wedding in February 2022 for my September 2022 wedding. We did a 30 day call the month prior and all was well up to this point. Danae called me on the Thursday evening before my Saturday wedding informing me, she would be unable to make it to my wedding due to having Covid. Of course, this is something that can’t be prevented so I had to roll with it. She said she would be sending a second shooter that she works with all the time and that has tons of experience. At this point, it was too late for me to find someone else as I had less than 48 hours before my ceremony began. When Saturday came, the replacement photographer showed up and as we were talking, I discovered Danae had booked my wedding with this other photographer on August 30th. There is no way she would’ve known two and half weeks prior to September 15th, that she would have Covid. I found out 15 minutes before my ceremony began that Danae had given my wedding to someone else weeks in advance but used Covid as an excuse to not be present, which gave me no time to find another photographer (which I absolutely would have done). The replacement photographer Danae hired to do my wedding also informed me she had met Danae for the first time on Friday, (the day before the wedding), which I’m unsure how that is possible because Danae alleged this was her second shooter. Danae didn’t text me on my wedding day, nor did she text me in the days following my wedding to congratulate us or even apologize for not being there. To me, this goes to show she didn’t truly care about us as her clients. I waited to address these issues with her until after I received my photos to ensure we got our photos back. She gave us all our photos within 10 days of our wedding and provided a 30% refund of what we paid after I addressed what the other photographer informed me of. I’m highly disappointed that I hired Danae. Her work may be good, but for me, customer service and honesty are much more important. Danae did not provide either of those things to my husband and me. Her editing is fine, and we ended up getting a few photos that we enjoyed, but most of the photos did not appear to be taken by a professional photographer. I’m more upset than anything that we had this experience and wish it would’ve gone differently. Based off our situation, we unfortunately would not recommend Danae to anyone else.
