Amazing! Let us rent many chairs & a big tent

I will say first, that after searching through rental vendors in OKC, Crossland did have the best prices (at least for tables and chairs, which is all we needed).

When I went in on a Saturday to place the reservation, the staff was helpful and friendly. I placed my deposit and scheduled to pick up our rentals the morning of our wedding. Our wedding took place Saturday, October 11th, 2014, a.k.a. OU/Texas. I received a call at 3:30pm the day before our wedding from Crossland asking me if I was going to come get my rentals. Assuming there was some confusion, I let them know that we had scheduled to pick them the following morning. I was then informed that they would not be open; I had to come get them today, they started closing at 4:30 and doors locked at 5:00pm. This left me 1-1.5 hours to get across town, and find two people with trucks to meet me there. I was not able to find two truck available on such short notice. We got VERY lucky that my Father-In-Law had purchased rentals from another company for our rehearsal dinner the night before, and was able to extend his rental so we could use those items at out reception too. Once I made it very clear that I was canceling my order, they refunded my deposit. I cancelled my order in person to ensure no other issues. It wasn't till I was leaving the store I heard an employee on the phone stating that "they are closing tomorrow for Ou/Texas". While I completely understand the intensity surrounding OU/Texas, and am in fact a huge College Football fan myself, when you run a business this is not an acceptable practice. With hardly any notice, they easily could have ruined our wedding reception. While I'm sure they are a great company on any other regular weekend, I would strongly caution against renting during/near any high profile event.
