For my daughters wedding we contacted Felix. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and unprofessionalism. He charged $500 NONREFUNDABLE deposit. No contract was signed. Went weeks without replying to emails. He said he was on vacation and his assistant failed to look at his emails. Then he asked for an additional $300 to travel 58 miles to the venue. Of course we cancelled him because we were worried what the day of the wedding would be like and we lost our $500 deposit. When I messaged him to ask for the deposit back, this was his response, acknowledging their failure to communicate. It is attached as a photo.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Felix. From the very beginning it was hard to get full answers as far as prices and packages. My fiance and I were wanting something pretty simple so we went ahead and put the deposit down for our date. During the process of communication of what we were looking for in a package and what he offered, there were three times I waited weeks for a response and each time I would have to reach back out again asking if he had gotten my previous email, before getting an answer. I tried getting information over the phone and that was never an option. The lack of communication was not something I wanted for my wedding day and became a little stressful as the date got closer. But the last straw was when last minute he added a traveling fee for the service after I had already put the deposit down. I understand it's normal to have a traveling fee as I paid almost all my other vendors a small fee but the main issue was there was NO mention of this beforehand when I was inquiring about prices and I thought that was very unprofessional to be added on as an after thought. It was also an outrageous price for the distance. $300 for within 60 miles where my photographer came from out of state and didn't even charge a fourth of that. With all that to say I chose to not have Felix at my wedding and in the process I lost my $500 deposit and had to rush and find someone last minute but it was worth it to not have to worry about getting in contact with him before my wedding. I would not encourage anyone to book with him. I would give zero stars if possible.
