I worked with Shimia and her team for a bridal show I was hosting at my hotel, Holiday Inn Inner Harbor. They provided the decor for a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I rented chargers and pillars from this company and they were very professional. I was originally supposed to pick them up myself to avoid delivery feed but the day of they said they'd deliver to the venue. Everything was there on time and in good condition!

Shimia was very professional. I had indicated my colors to her prior to our meeting, and when I arrived for a viewing of what she would do for our reception, I was impressed with the fact that she had already incorporated my colors in the arrangements. When I called to make a possible adjustment in the number of people who would be attending the reception she was more than willing to make the change. She even accompanied us to the reception hall and diagramed the best lay out. I would highly recommend this company to all future brides. My reception was truly a dream come true.

Overdue review: Cre8tive Touch Events & Rentals provided me with great service. From centerpieces to lighting. They gave me floor stencils, napkin rings just about everything I asked for within reasonable price range. Everything was just beautiful I was already feeling like a princess but they made my venue inexpensive venue seem much more than it’s worth. The owner was very respectful, timely, full of creative and helpful. There was only one issue that I had and that was a communication error that may have been on my part but other than that my wedding was beautiful. I have recommended this company to all my friends that have gotten married since I have used them. I plan to use them for future events as well.

Cre8tive Touch is definitely ideal for the budget conscious couple. I remember having an idea of what I wanted but did not have the means to execute or the expertise to shift through the unnecessary. This company took my complicated idea and made it into something beautiful and one to be remembered for years to come. The focus on detail was noticeable and greatly appreciated. Shima did an excellent job on her delivery and we are so appreciative of the time that she devoted to our event. As with any situation, there is always room for improvement. There were at least 2 occasions where I felt the situation could have been handled more professionally. Humility is a characteristic that outshines any type of delivery. Never should a client be threaten on their wedding night about items being missing or misplaced with a "72 hour if we do not get items returned you must pay", especially if it was not noted in the contract or verbally discussed prior to contracted work. Perhaps if the company stayed for the occasion (as suggested) this would have been a way to make sure no items were taken by the venue, the guests, or anyone for that matter. We were honeymooning! A friendly suggestion, perhaps place within your future contracts that you are not able to guarantee work if you do not have permission to prepare at least 2 hours before the scheduled event. This may make having to work with other professionals a bit easier and may take some of the unnecessary stress away from the client. If they sign the contract, then they know that Cre8tive Touch will not be liable if they are unable to deliver things verbally agreed upon . I hope with each new client, Shima Davis-Kelley and Cre8tive Touch Events and Rentals will continue to grow and acquire the image they hope to seek. It is critical to ensure that both parties clearly understand role and responsibilities beyond the cursory introductions and contract review. Additionally, once a month status updates, at a minimum, should be part of the agreement. This will ensure both parties are updated and role and responsibilities are reviewed.
