A former bank built in 1913, the Bank of the Arts is now the home of the Craven Arts Council and Gallery, a artistic space that promotes and nurtures the arts in New Bern and the surrounding county. This unique space offers a large neoclassical style building filled with art from across Eastern North Carolina. The impressive pillars lend a grand, classical air to any occasion, as do lofty ceilings and bespoke skylight. Guests can mingle through renovated vaults and take in stunning art exhibits as they enjoy your event. Our venue can hold from 100 to 240 people, depending on seating arrangements.

Rentals include four hours of venue time, kitchenette use, tables and chairs, speaker system, and access to our baby grand piano. Bank of the Arts cannot offer catering or linens, but we will happily provide you with a list of local preferred vendors.
