We had our wedding at Cap Maison and it couldn't have been more wonderful. The beauty of the setting, the amazing accommodations, the incredible staff, the mouth watering food.... my brother still says our wedding dinner may well have been the best dinner of his life. Now that's something... You really can't go wrong here. If you can, you would do well to move here permanently.

Cap Maison is an absolutely beautiful location. We had our wedding ceremony at the gazebo at Smuggler's Point overlooking the beach and beautiful Carribean sea. We stayed at this location for our honeymoon and purchased the wedding package in addition for a very reasonable price. The wedding package was $950 and included the wedding ceremony and officiant, 90 minutes of photography with an 80 image high quality CD of the photos, a small cake, a champagne toast, and a tropical flower bouquet.

The pictures turned out great and they gave us a CD with all of the photos instead of just 80. I loved my bouquet. The ceremony was quite nice as well. I was disappointed in the cake - instead of being traditional white it had pastel pink and green flowers on top (which I'm sure could have been arranged otherwise but they didn't discuss this with me) and it was also very burnt. We ended up not eating any of it because it was dark brown around the edges and very dry.

The only reason I didn't rate them higher was that it was very hard for me to communicate with the resort to plan everything prior to our trip. They are supposed to have an on-site wedding coordinator and only conduct weddings once every three weeks but I do not feel that they have someone on staff that is 100% dedicated to wedding planning. I had to call for several weeks before I actually reached a live person to speak to at the resort and then when I finallly got an email address to communicate the details, sometimes it would take a week for me to get a response. I also felt like I did not have a lot of control over the details, i.e., I didn't really feel like I had any choices as far as the cake, flowers, etc.
