Best wedding cakes in Tucson, sad to hear they are moving out of state soon!!!

We were so happy with our cake! Judy and Richard were very hospitable and easy to work with during our tasting at their home, and came up with a wonderfully creative design for us right then and there based on the unique cake toppers we brought with us. The cake was delicious--not greasy or overly sweet, which were both issues we noted in other cakes we'd tried at wedding fairs--and they have a wide variety of flavors available. We got nothing but compliments on the design and taste of our cake from our guests--there was hardly any left over and we ordered more than enough for our guests, so I think lots of people grabbed seconds! ;)

We were able to sample several types of cakes before we deceided. We were also able to have a different type of cake and filling for each tier. Delivery was right on time and everybody loved the cake. It was very light and moist, there was hardly any left to take home. We highly recommend you check Judy out before you make a final decison.

Now known as Cakes by Koeppens (Judy and her husband's last name), Cakes by Judy did a fantastic job on my cake! I sent her a picture of what I wanted, and she immediately gave me a call to tell me that she would be able to recreate that cake, and that she loved the design I picked. These are very nice people, and as stressful as wedding planning can be, the more vendors you have like this, the smoother the process! Oh, also, the cake was DELICIOUS!

The cake arrived and I couldn't have been happier. It was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Oh my goodness I still think about it and am just amazed at how wonderful it looked. It was everything and more. My dream cake!!! It tasted really good too and I got so many compliments on it. Thank you Judy I will be recommending your cakes to future brides!!

We went with this company because they work in conjunction with our venue, and we are so glad that we did!! Judy's cakes are AMAZING, they are so moist and delicious and the design of the cake turned out exactly how I wanted it to! They had a pretty good variety of flavors to choose from too, so you have some choices when designing the cake you want. I would definitely recommend this vendor to other brides in the area!

Wedding Cakes by Judy made a VERY DELICIOUS wedding cake for my event in March! I highly recommend her wedding cakes! We first were introduced to her wedding cakes at the Z Mansion when we were considering using that venue for our wedding. We sampled her cake and instantly my Husband and I were hooked! The icing was not sicky sweet like other wedding cakes I’ve had before like from Busy Bee’s or a couple other wedding cake shops. After our first taste, we did not look any further and booked our wedding cake with Judy. She was very pleasant on the phone from the beginning and took extra precaution with our 3 tiers as she did not want the cake topper to fall through the cake! Judy and her husband were also able to duplicate the design on our wedding invitation to our wedding cake and it was gorgeous!

I used Cakes by the Koeppens on the advice of a friend, and I was not disappointed. The initial consultation was quick and productive, and my cake turned out not only beautiful, but delicious! I live out of town, so I arranged to have an aunt pick up the cake, and it was packaged well enough to survive 1.5 hours of highway and in-town travel.

I was so excited when I saw their photo album and saw "my cake" in there! It felt perfect because they've already made that design before. Well I didn't see my cake until we walked up to cut it! It was NOT the same cake. It was supposed to be a Tiffany blue and it was so pale and the color was so uneven it looked white in some spots! It looked like a very light. On the bright side, everyone loved the taste of it. And they did include a free groomscake which was amazing! I would order another one of those anytime. Not a wedding cake though.
