Bullard Farm And Pavilion—otherwise known as The Hitchin’ Post—is a barn- and farm-style wedding venue located in Altoona, Alabama. Bullard Farm And Pavilion all started when singer-songwriter Jo Ann Bullard and her husband, Jerry, built a pavilion on their farm in the rural countryside of Blount County. Since then, this venue has been a booming and beautiful wedding venue where couples throughout Alabama and beyond have celebrated their special day.
Facilities and Capacity
When you book Bullard Farm And Pavilion, you’ll be given access to a seven-acre lake with a lighted pier, an old restored well shed, plenty of outdoor spaces, and a breathtaking rustic wedding barn. At max capacity, Bullard Farm And Pavilion can host celebrations of up to 300 people.

Wonderful venue for any occasion. Jerry and Joann are the most wonderful couple to work with. I had my daughters wedding there and it was perfect! Beautiful views and facilities!

My husband and I just had our wedding here in August! We actually changed our venue to the Bullard farm and pavilion 2 days before the wedding, and it was the best decision we could have made! This venue requires little no decorating as it comes beautiful and ready to use! There is an outdoor smoking area, pavilion, and a beautiful pier on the pond that lights up at night along with a lit up water fountain in the pond. I highly recommend this location for your special day. The owners are the sweetest and really take the time out of their day to make your big day a dream come true!
