First, I'm not posed. I'm not cheesy. I'm not the photographer with the crazy hair, long beard, oversized utility belt, and coke bottle glasses. Photography isn't my day job.

Now that's out of the way, let's talk about what I am.

I'm an attorney by day, father, husband, and photographer by night. I'm random. I'm spontaneous. I'm passionate. I'm inspired easily. I gauge my work by how much my clients love it and not how much money I earn.

I'm self-taught with no formal training, as in zero, zippo, zilch. I frame an image in my mind - and I capture it. I have come to understand that clients are far more interested in tangible results as opposed to where I studied photography, under whom, and for how long. I love photography because it is real. To me, a properly taken image lives on in perpetuity far after we age and wrinkle up with time. My job as your photographer is to capture that moment in time so that it lives with you the rest of your life. If your pictures simply serve to blandly remember an occasion then I have failed at my job. Your pictures, like you, should be alive.
