My husband wanted to capture the fleeting moments of our engagement that took place during our trip to the Cayman Islands in February and was fortunate enough to have found the incredibly talented photographer, Bryan Cubas, who exceeded our expectations. I hired Bryan to capture my surprise proposal to my fiancé along with an accompanying 60 minute photo shoot in the Cayman Islands. We live in the US so my initial interaction with Bryan was via a video call where he quickly earned my trust and put me at ease. He was ready to not only answer my questions but also provide insightful suggestions, as we were shooting at a venue that I was unfamiliar with. Trying to plan a proposal internationally was stressful but knowing that Bryan was there to help made me feel much more relaxed. On the day of the photoshoot, he captured every moment perfectly with his cinematic photography style. For a couple who started out the photo shoot by saying "we don't take a lot of photos together, we might be awkward", we felt relaxed the entire time and had fun with his ideas.
