About
Look Beautiful, Feel Confident: Capture your inner goddess in my private studio. A boudoir session is a fantastic gift for the bride. The photos will be cherished by the couple always.
How quickly can I book a session?
I typically book 3-4 weeks in advance. If you are looking to book a particular date/time - please contact me as far in advance as possible!
If you are looking for a shorter session - my headshots only take 20 minutes - I'll likely be able to squeeze you in sooner.
In the event that you need your session or images rushed, please note that that will require a surcharge, depending on the timing of the rush order.
The general rule of thumb? If you're thinking about wanting to work with me, reach out! That way, we've got a much better chance of getting you in at the time you'd like.
What can I expect on the day of?
Each session is different! And when you inquire, we will help walk you through what you and anyone else participating in the shoot can expect. (You can imagine business portraits and boudoir sessions are quite different!)
Generally speaking, my sessions run for about an hour. They are fun, relaxed, and the opposite of stuffy. We'll chat on the phone before the session so I can have a good idea who you are, and you can hear my lovely (silly) laugh prior to the meeting.
If there are specific images you have in mind, or certain things you hope to capture, please let me know when you inquire! That way we can both have similar expectations so I can ensure we get you pictures I know you'll love.
When will I get my prints?
If you come in for a business session, you can expect your digital file proofs about 5-10 business days after our session. You can expect your images a day or two after making the final selection.
For all other sessions, we'll set up a Zoom conference about 10-15 days after your shoot to review your images together. (This gives me ample time to edit and curate your portraits to my perfectionist standards)
Do you offer online galleries?
Yes and no. (: For business portraits, yes.
For all other sessions, I do not offer online galleries. I've found that they can drag out the ordering process, and, unfortunately, in the past, they've led to clients sharing images that had not been purchased.
I walk all clients through their portraits via a Zoom conference. I've found this is the best way for clients to see the quality of the images, as well as have my help in choosing favorites and products!
I just want to buy the raw images/digital files. Can I?
Every image you purchase comes with the digital file and rights to that image.
In this digital age, it's important to me that the people I work with have physical copies of their portraits. I want you to remember how confident you were when you posed for me in light and lace, the way the evening light captured you just right, and how we laughed about how loud the birds were that evening. I want you to experience that every day, when you walk by the portrait(s) that you've hung in your home.
Great! How do I get started?
Head on over to our contact page! The best way to get into our system is via our contact form.
You will then be invited to set up a phone call to help to answer any questions you might have prior to booking.
I can't wait to meet you and capture images you'll treasure for years to come!
Will my images be made public?
Every client must sign our model release. You have the option to keep your images private or release some or all of your images to be used inside & outside the studio. If you choose to release your images, you may be featured in our blog or our social media!
Are the women on your website professional models?
Absolutely not! I only work with real women just like you and me.
I don't know how to pose. How will I know if I look good?
No worries. It might be your first photoshoot experience so you are a little bit worried about the whole process. Remember that you have one hour with a professional hair and make-up artist, she is going to make you look incredible trust me! Then you don't have to know how to pose, I will coach you every step of the way, you'll only have to mirror me. Easy.
Do you "Photoshop" me?
Yes. However, it is very important to me that you look like...YOU. I am not a fashion photographer and I try to make my model perfect. I am not going to change you into someone you're not. My goal is that you see yourself as you truly are: Just Beautiful!
What should I bring to a Beauty session?
Every woman is different. You might want a natural look with jeans or a more glamorous look with a formal gown. You can come with a few different outfits so we can choose together.
How and when will I see the images from my photoshoot?
I usually schedule your viewing session two weeks after the photoshoot. Over Zoom or in the studio, we'll go through the images together and choose your favorites.
