IL BOOM ITALIAN SWING BAND is a quartet made up of Piano and voice, Sax and voice, Bass and Drums. We have been present in the Italian and European scene for about 30 years.
Our musical references are the artists who have made Italy great in the world: RENATO CAROSONE (Wanna be American) - LOUIS PRIMA (Angelia Zooma Zooma) - FRED BUSCAGLIONE (Buonasera Signorina) - NINO ROTA (The Godfather - The Goldfather) - and the great Italian classics revisited in Swing style in RAY GELATO style: ‘O sole mio, Quando quando quando, Malafemmina, That’s amore…and many others!
IL BOOM ITALIAN SWING BAND has many important Italian and foreign concerts under its belt. It performs for luxury and private VIP events in renowned locations throughout Europe. The main locations we usually frequent are many. Just to name a few: COMO: Villa D’Este, Villa Erba, Villa Pizzo, Mandarin Oriental, Casta Diva. MILAN: Principe di Savoia Milano, Mandarin Hotel, Crown Plaza, ROME: Palazzo Ferrajoli, Palazzo Brancaccio, FLORENCE: Four Season, Castello Il Palagio, MONTECARLO: Hotel de Paris, Hotel Hermitage, Carlton Hotel…and many more….
