My cake tasting with Maddie was all I really needed to seal the deal. She was so sweet, informative and professional (she actually changed my mind about strawberry cake, which I never liked until tasting it here!). The price was more than I was originally wanting to spend, but what I found through my cake tasting journey was that you definitely get what you pay for! The cake was everything I ever wanted...simple, classic and most importantly, delicious! It was perfect! We had the whole top left to take home and additional cake as well. We couldn’t bare to save it (it’s just that good!) so we’ll definitely plan to get customized cupcakes for our anniversary :-)

We had the lemon pound cake as our wedding cake and there was not a single piece left! The cake tasted unbelievably delicious and was so pretty! We could not have been happier with our choice! Cant wait till next year to go get a wedding anniversary cupcake to relive the delicious wedding cake memory!

Kyle made our bridal and groom's cake, as well as desserts for our engagement party. We had a lot of fun tasting the cake in her cute shop, and absolutely loved the wedding cake she created! Everything she makes is delicious, and she was able to create a cake that fit perfectly with the wedding decor. I don't usually like wedding cake, but we had a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and it was delicious.

The Blue Rooster did both our wedding and groom's cakes. Not only did they have a variety of flavors (that honestly all were delicious) but were also able to exceed our expectations on the design. I showed her a cake that I loved on Pinterest and they did it better. They also did a fantastic job on my husband's cake which they made into a very realistic tire. One thing I love about this bakery is that they can create masterpieces without using nasty foundant. If you are looking for a delicious cake that looks amazing and will deliver for free (depending on how far, we were 18 miles away), then look no farther. They are located on the square in Lawrenceville and offer free tastings with appointments. I am so happy with my cake. This is our go to bakery from now on!

If I could give extra stars here, I would. I cannot express how totally blown away we were by the wedding cake that Kyle at Blue Rooster delivered!

We wanted something quirky and unique, but still elegant and adorable. We had a special cake topper that we wanted to be the focal point and yet we didn't want something too plain. We gave Kyle total creative control and simply provided her with details of what the wedding was going to be like in terms of decor, look & feel, etc. I felt like that was a real leap of faith, but she did not let me down!

The cost was way less than I expected from an independent bakery (versus a grocery store bakery) and was actually probably less than what I would have paid for a much more generic cake from a big bakery after they nickle and dime you for all the gum paste and accessories. They were right on time for delivery, assembled everything on site to avoid delivery disaster scenarios, and were out of the way, focused and professional the whole time. Our guests RAVED about how good the cake both looked and tasted. It was a shame to eat something so wonderful, but it was some of the best cake I've ever had in my life. The whole thing exceeded my wildest dreams!

I loved my cake! It was exactly what I wanted! They are so nice and easy to work with!!

Our wedding cake was actually cupcakes! We ordered 45 pineapple cupcakes with cherries on top (paying homage to our first date, when my husband and I made a pineapple upside down cake together!). The cake was delicious and moist, the icing was fresh and creamy, and the cherries had a beautiful sugar coating that looked like glittery ice! It was magical, and we ate the leftover cupcakes on our roadtrip up to NYC. Loved it so much.

Used their food for the groom's cake that was served at the rehearsal dinner, gifts for guests, out of town guest bags groom's party lunch and snacks before the wedding. They did not disappoint!!! Delicious and fresh!

Absolutely gorgeous groom' cake - superhero theme. It was huge, decorated beautifully and absolutely delicious! The groom picked the Reese's peanut butter flavor cake with chocolate frosting. The groom described his idea of what he wanted and they took it from there and made it come true! All of the items were delivered on time, set up and ready to go - I didn't have to do anything! The guys loved the selection of ham, turkey, and chicken salad boxed lunches with sweet tea, brownies and huge cookies!

The great thing is I had to plan the rehearsal dinner from Tampa, Florida and working with the Blue Rooster made it so easy. I hope I get a chance to eat at the restaurant again and also use their catering services. Thanks for making my son's day so much fun - he didn't get hangry. :)

I am extremely disappointed at the lack of responsiveness from this company. I came across them at a local Bridal Show where I was able to sample a few of their cakes. They were delicious! I was extremely excited at the opportunity to do an actual full tasting with them. After reviewing the menu with my fiance we were almost all the way sold that this was the one we wanted to go with. Followed up with the company with an email asking to set up a tasting. They were initially very responsive. But when it came down to actually setting up a date, no one responded to any of the emails. (At least 3 or more) I called the restaurant at about 4:45pm one afternoon and they had advised that Kyle had already gone home and to please call back at 9 a.m. The following day I called at 9:15 a.m. with no answer and no voicemail box set up. I called again at 11:30 of that same day with no voicemail available either. I sent one more email to Kyle and hopes of a response. I still haven't heard anything a week later. It would be extremely concerning to hire a company they can't return any phone calls or emails. I feel very happy it didn't work out because that's terrifying as a bride to know you're working with a company that may or may not be responsive at all.
