I sketch a large head on a small body that is personalized for each sitter, showing their hobby, sport or special interest. People love to crowd around to watch the drawing process as the art work is done as they watch. Then the surprise moment when I show the drawing to the sitters. (Most weddings have couples sit for caricatures these days). It is fun to see their expression! I may have drawn the couple as a mermaid and King Neptune or have them boxing each other. I put the drawing, which is done on a thick 11x14 or 11x17 (couple) paper in an plastic bag. This continues usually nonstop until the end of the night. I am often the last one standing!
