Absolutely Beautiful! There are fountains all over the place. This is the perfect place if you want to have an outdoor wedding especially in the summer because the fountains make it 6-10 degrees cooler. I am so happy that we chose this place for our wedding. The staff were very professionally and extremely helpful. We also got security guards to keep people that were walking around downtown Dallas out of the ceremony. This is definitely a place that any upcoming brides need to go check out.

Great deal everything that I needed for my reception was included in the price. I got to pick my table cloth and napkin colors, what color of rose I wanted on every table. Included white chairs for ceremony and security guards to keep people that were walking around downtown Dallas out of the way. The grounds were absolutely beautiful!! Perfect for an outdoor wedding. The staff was very helpful in getting me what ever I needed for ceremony and reception.

The venue itself is GORGEOUS. . . . especially at night. My guests raved and raved about it.

However, the onsite wedding coordinator, Amy, was not pleasant to work with. When I booked the venue she was not the coordinator. She introduced herself the day before Thanksgiving via email where she stated that my wedding date was 3 months prior to the contracted date. Luckily she was still in the office when I called her in a panic. That should have tipped me off that there was more of this confusion to come. She was slow to respond to emails or phone calls . . . twice she sent me other clients cost information by accident. . she just seemed overwhelmed and unorganized in her job.

On the day of the wedding, she did NOT listen to the florist who said, do not put the vases outside until the very.last.minute. Well of course she put them out about 20 min before the ceremony and then fell over and broke. The florist called me and stated that I owed $200. I was not too happy that the florists' directions were not followed.

The location was gorgeous and the food was delicious! I am really happy we went with Avanti; it really "made" the wedding. The end product was excellent and I would have rated the staff and overall location higher...

But, working with Amy (the Event Coordinator) was very difficult. She is extrememly opinionated and if she didn't agree with something I wanted to do, she flat out tells told me...with a disgusted look. This was the vendor that caused me the most stress to work with. She got into an arguement with my mom during the reception... Our wedding coordinator (Each and Every Detail) was able to work it out though. In the end, everything worked out like I wanted it to, but it was because I did not back down from her ever present disapproval of my ideas.

On a positive note, she was able to work with the linen rental place (BBJ Linens), whom I was having trouble with, she rented neat highboy accents, and she turned the ledges into banquet seating like I wanted. I did not have any trouble with her on our wedding night. (Be sure to review your cost sheet as compared to the original prices she provides...I noticed a couple of things went up, which she did correct).
