I was so nervous about how my wedding photos would turn out. I was afraid I would look back on my big day and be upset with how we were posed and didn't want to look awkward. After meeting Ashley and completing our engagement session, those fears melted away! Ashley is such a sweet and easy to love person, she instantly made myself and my husband feel comfortable. She made us feel so special and comfortable during our engagement session , during every email, phone call, and meeting, and she’s someone we actually wanted to spend all day with on our wedding day! Ashley Schurch is everything and MORE. She was so much fun to work with, she knew how and where to take incredible photos that we are over the moon about. Most down to earth person plus her energy and excitement brought continuous smiles to my wife and I during our entire time together. She made everything effortless and I can't thank her enough. We originally met Ashley at the Wichita Bridal expo January of 2019 (I know crazy!). Her photos drew me In with how bright, airy, and timeless they were which was my vision compared to the darker/ dim photos that have been trending. She also shoots FILM ( how cool!?) I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. She went through a venue closing, date change TWO times, made herself available for a COVID wedding and the large wedding 1 year later. She is the kindest and sweetest person and hope to continue to stay connected to her. An example of how she will treat you and your family- Grandpa accidentally got blood on his pants and insisted on hiding behind the other family members. Ashley said absolutely don’t do that and made it appoint she wanted grandpa seen and photo shopped the blood out. Words can’t express how much love I have for her!!

Ashley was one of our favorite vendors that we got to work with on our wedding day. I am very detailed and interviewed multiple photographers before choosing one for our wedding and Ashley answered every single question I had and then some. She put me at ease right away and meeting with her in person was extremely helpful in seeing the beautiful work she produces digitally and in print.

My husband historically doesn’t care for pictures, but she put him at ease during our engagement pictures, which made them go by extremely fast. The success from our engagement pictures also helped make it extremely easy to take pictures for our wedding.

Ashley met with me as much as I needed before the wedding for timelines and shot lists and any random questions I had. She worked seamlessly with our coordinator and other vendors so that everything flowed well. The day of the event she helped us throughout every time slot of pictures that we needed to hit, and was extremely patient if we needed more time throughout the day.

She got every shot we asked for and then some, and her follow-up process after the wedding for previews, the gallery, prints, albums, etc. has also been seamless.

We are thrilled with our engagement and wedding pictures and can’t wait to see our album and more prints. Ashley is extremely thorough, detailed, patient and understanding in working with her brides and it’s clear that she values each and every single one. We have enjoyed working with her and would hands down recommend her and her work to any bride looking for an outstanding photographer.

Ashley and her team are a top-notch wedding vendor through and through! Her quality of work is unmatched. My husband and I chose Ashley because her photography style perfectly matched our May Day/Spring wedding. We knew she had the ability to capture our wedding day exactly as we’d envisioned it. When looking for vendors I felt many had a moody, darker style and that was the opposite of what we were wanting. I was so relieved when we found Ashley. We knew she was the first vendor we wanted to secure!

We are so impressed with the difference that film photography makes in the coloring, quality and feel of our images. It's become clear after seeing them printed out and hung on our wall. Our pictures are truly unlike any wedding photos I've seen. Obviously I'm biased but every time I look at our album I catch myself smiling without even knowing it.

There are countless things throughout our engagement and wedding day that blew me away about Ahley's talent and service.

We live in Kansas City but our wedding took place in my hometown of Wichita. Ashley went out of her way to accommodate us! She cleared a Friday evening for our engagement photo session so that we could make a weekend out of it and visit family rather than making it a there-and-back trip. We also had 0 ideas of where to take engagement and wedding day pictures and she completely solved that for us!

When we got to the church the day of the wedding she showed me a picture of the altar to make sure the decorations and flowers were set up to my expectations.

Leading up to the wedding and the day-of I had countless non-photography related questions that she answered with ease and eagerness. Such as, "Uhh what should I do with my engagement ring before the ceremony." She always had an answer for everything and made me feel at ease.

Ashley was an incredible help during the planning process. Her checklists, event timeline, shot list, attention to detail and learning about what we wanted, etc. were beyond appreciated as I had enough to worry about. The recommendations for engagement session outfits, wedding day reminders and planning chats took the edge off of my nervousness.

Ashley even worked directly with my florist to get flower pieces the night before my wedding so she would have them for my detail shots. Truly, everything she could take care of, she did so without missing a beat!

My favorite part about working with her is she placed joy into every step of the planning and day-of experience and I'm beyond grateful she was a part of our vendor team!

Ashley was the best photographer I could’ve hoped for! From our engagement pictures to the wedding day, she made every step of the process easy, and took the stress out of any details I needed to be responsible for. she made me, my groom, and friends and family feel confident and sure of what was happening on the day of, all the while running things with such grace! I was so nervous to book a photographer, because I know that the photos are all you have left to remember your wedding day after all is said and done (besides your spouse, of course!). Ashley was the perfect choice, and I am so happy I chose to use her. Our wedding photos are timeless and dreamy, and they look beautiful in our home.
