Matthew d’Jay Bolt

Born in Sunny Southern California, 1981. Matthew Bolt is one of the highly talented DJ’s based in central Arizona.

Matthew started his journey into music and entertainment, at age 8, when he studied the Violin as his first instrument.

At age 12 he joined the school marching band, where he played the Sousaphone and marched with his band in many big events throughout Southern California. The marching band, known for its upbeat performances, walked away with many first place honors at events they attended throughout Southern California over the following 2 years.

At age 14, Matthew felt the pull and leaped enthusiastically into hip-hop freestyle dancing. Matthew really got into the hip-hop scene and even began DJing at his school anytime the professional DJ didn’t show up or was running a little late.

At age 18 Matthew became a professional DJ and took on the persona – DJ Doubt It.

He chose DJ Doubt It as his performance name because growing up everyone always “Doubted” his abilities to which he continuously proved he was a can-do-guy.

In 1999 he began assisting Phoenix area radio DJ’s by spinning before their performances. As his experience grew and his name became known among industry insiders he was booked for many events sponsored by local radio stations and clubs throughout the Valley-of-the-Sun.

Other notable events that included DJ Doubt It’s talents to “spin and host” were sponsored by MTV, VH1, BET, WCW, and ESPN.
