Araya Resort is a boutique destination weddings & retreats venue in Las Galeras, Samana, Dominican Republic. Tucked into the tropical, unspoiled coastline of the Samana Peninsula, Araya Resort is a boutique 11-villa property built for couples and groups who want a more intimate wedding with the option to rent out the whole place, just for them.

Our villas comfortably house up to 24 overnight guests, and we can accommodate up to 40 for a ceremony and dinner. This makes Araya ideal for intimate weddings, elopements, and vow renewals. Because we're a boutique property, every event we host receives our full and undivided focus. And for groups who want a more intimate event and true privacy, Araya also offers full property buyouts.

The entire resort is reserved exclusively for your celebration, with no other guests on site. No onlookers, no other people to worry about other than your nearest and dearest. Ceremonies take place at La Luna Terraza, with sweeping views built for golden-hour vows, followed by dinner at Restaurant Las Estrellas, with full-service, in-house catering crafted around your celebration. Our Yoga Sala offers both a dedicated space for wellness programming and a covered rain contingency option, so your day is never left to chance.

We welcome outside wedding and event planners, and our team works bilingually in English and Spanish to support international couples and groups throughout planning and on-site.
