My husband and I have loved our time working with Amy and our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without her. She’s such a talented photographer and it makes it that much sweeter that she’s also such a genuine person. She listens to what you like and can capture every single moment in such detail that you’re reliving your special day every time you see a photo. We had her do our engagement pictures and she’ll photograph when we grow a family as well. She is so easy to work with and everything is simply natural and so beautiful when working with her. It’s fun just having her around and capturing all the quirks and love you share with your partner. It’s hard to come across people that have such a passion for what they do as much as Amy does. And you can really see that through her work. I will recommend her every time and continue recommending until she’s booked years in advance (she’s a busy girl so jump on it ASAP) because I have no doubt that she’ll continue growing and progressing as time goes on. Not that you can get much better than perfection!

Amy was so wonderful to work with! One of the most important things for us in finding a wedding photographer (to minimize our awkwardness) was the personality of the photographer. Amy had such a wonderful and friendly personality that we were immediately at ease. On top of that, her skills/style of photography/production were exactly what we were looking for. Incredibly easy to communicate with, Amy knew the style of photos we were hoping for and she provided us with exactly that. Combined with being exceptionally priced, her work has allowed us to relive our big day in a wonderfully colorful and vibrant manner that we will forever cherish. Most importantly, Amy was such a wonderful person with a huge heart, and we can't wait to hopefully work with her again at some point in the future. (Family pictures one day?!??!)

Choosing Amy Peppercorn, was honestly one of the best choices we made about our wedding day! From our very first meeting she was sweet, kind, relaxed (not pushy like some people trying to book a job!) and professional but still friendly enough to really make you feel comfortable. She is organized, and made us feel totally comfortable that no matter what "could" happen on that day, her equipment would work! We knew we didn't want traditional "posed" photos that didn't look like ourselves. Amy's work captures that absolute best part of any wedding, the REAL moments! We had many photographers recommended by our venue, but we chose Amy because looking through her portfolio made us excited for our day, not dreading our generic photos. During our engagement photo shoot, we got a glimpse of how easy Amy would make our wedding day. She kept us calm, laughing, talking, and more importantly to us she captured special moments in the park with our pup. Amy was a rock star on the day of the wedding! She kept up with a crazy, family packed photo session in between the ceremony and the reception. She manages to be everywhere and no where at the same time. We got so many compliments before any guests had even seen our photos, they were so impressed with her ability to capture everything so candidly. We could not be more THANKFUL that we found Amy, she had our date open, and that we have these photos for the rest of forever to cherish.

Amy was absolutely wonderful! First, our engagement photos: Amy was really creative in getting us hundreds of beautiful shots, and was even able to work with including our husky in the photos! Amy had so many good ideas for us that our shoot lasted over 2 hours. Once we got the photos back, I knew we had made the best decision for our photographer, and I was incredibly excited for our wedding day!

On the day of our wedding, Amy arrived early and stayed with us during the very busy day. Our wedding party took a limo bus to different locations throughout Detroit to get some group shots, and they are so beautiful that I want to cry tears of happiness every time I look at them! We have a wonderful mix of candid and posed photos of our wedding party, ceremony, and reception. The day was a whirlwind for me, so when we got our photos (there were over 1200 of them!!!),

Her pricing is really affordable and averaged $1000 less than photographers in Detroit who aren't nearly as talented!

If I had to make a suggestion, it would be that the shot list is printed in advance and marked off as group photos are taken, rather than reviewed electronically. There were a few group photos on our list that were overlooked because some people weren't ready at the right time, and we never got back to them. If we had been able to cross them off as we went, it would have avoided mistakes. Another thing I would have liked is more photos of wedding guests (posed and candid) just having fun. We have some, but the bride & groom are in most of them, and it would have been captured the good times everyone else was having during our reception that just flew by. But those are minor. In the end, we have an arsenal of amazing pictures and have received raving compliments. Thanks, Amy!! :)

Amy is an amazing photographer and we were so pleased to be able to book her! She photographed a friend's wedding and we loved her style! The price includes an engagement session and she even designed our save the date magnets for us! She is very flexible and is open to picture ideas and concepts! She responds quickly to questions and makes you feel at ease! At the wedding, she was never in the way of the ceremony or events during the reception! When it started sprinkling, she found umbrellas in our wedding colors and we went outside for some umbrella pictures! She didn't let rain get in her way! Our pictures are truly amazing and she has such an amazing artistic style to her pictures! She is such a pleasant person to work with and I recommend her to everyone! We have had so many compliments on our pictures and the pictures captured such true emotion and those are priceless!

Amy was fabulous for my August wedding.

She did our save the dates, invitations, signs, menu and seating cards, as well as our photos. Her graphic design knowledge and creativity was a huge asset to the planning process, and she spent so much time working with me to make sure the idea in my head came out on paper.

Her photos are timeless. We did engagement photos and wedding photos with her and there is not a single photo I do not like. During the reception, Amy was in the middle of the dance floor taking photos and my brother leaned over to my mom and said "I've never seen a photographer get into the dance floor like that -- now that is a good photographer." Our photos are a perfect mix of candid and posed and they show love and happiness in every single shot. Everyone that has seen them raves about the quality.

I highly recommend Amy for not only photography but graphic design too!

We LOVE Amy! If we had to make a list of the best decisions we made for our wedding,booking Amy would be at or near the top of that list.

I originally was only concerned about price. My fiance was convinced that engagement pictures were a waste of money, so to win the debate I was determined to find someone who did the engagement shoot for free while still having an overall reasonable fee. After a quick search on WW I was so excited to find Amy's profile. Her photography style was exactly what I wanted (journalistic as opposed to staged poses), her price was excellent, and she threw in the engagement session for free. Once we met with her it was a done deal. She was very friendly, easy to work with, professional, and her contract was simple and easy to understand. Also you get full rights to the digital photos once they're done so that was a plus.

After our wedding we got so many compliments from our guests about how amazing our photographer was. In fact, one of my bridesmaids was recently engaged and was hoping to book Amy too but unfortunately the dates didn't work out - she's now using Amy as her standard for judging other potential photographers.

During the group photos she was extremely efficient, and the rest of the day she seemed to be everywhere at once but never in the way. I was originally a little concerned about the lighting she uses for the dancing shots, since it lights up the whole room and I thought the flashes would be distracting. But it wasn't noticeable in the slightest and the pictures turned out GREAT! We are so happy :)

Amy was amazing from our engagement pictures all the way to the wedding. She did a great job at directing us to a location for our engagement shoot and putting us into the perfect poses. I'm a huge fan of a romantic lighting/setting and whatever she did with the editing made us look incredible. She also took beautiful pictures of our then six month old daughter.

Dealing with her as a wedding photography was easy and stress free! She was always on time and kept up with our schedule we had for important picture moments. Amy is very creative and always asked us if she could try something different dending on the scenery we were around. Needless to say her creativity exceeded expectations.

Lastly, she is very personable. She got to know us as a couple and even our daughter. When we had crazy photography questions she was very honest about what would look good and what wouldn't. I would recommend her to anyone who wants their pictures to look magical!

Amy stepped in for our wedding when our other photographer canceled 3 months prior to the big day. Needless to say, I couldn't be more grateful that Amy was the one to capture our special day. For one, she met all of our needs, and catered to us, knowing that we were stressed out and pressed for time. Amy also catered to our style perfectly. We were not your traditional wedding, and she was able to show the vibe of our whole day, just in the pictures. Not only am I in love with the pictures, but the compliments we have received about all of them, are so overwhelming great! I am just so thankful our old photographer canceled, and Amy was sent in our direction! If we had to do it all over again, we would have picked her sooner! THE ABSOLUTE BEST! :)
