We booked a family photo session in the Bahamas through this company based on the photographer's portfolio and reputation. While the photographer who conducted the session was professional and pleasant to work with, we learned AT the session was photographed by an apprentice photographer rather than the photographer whose work we believed we were hiring.

Initially, we were excited to receive the proof gallery and selected our final images. However, after spending more time reviewing the photos, we became increasingly disappointed with the overall quality and variety of the images. Many of the photos featured very similar angles and compositions, with little use of creative perspectives. Despite the beautiful beach setting, a large number of the images were framed in a way that emphasized an island with trees in the background rather than showcasing the Bahamas location we specifically wanted to capture.

The action shots, particularly the running photos, did not meet our expectations for a professional photography session and appeared to lack the timing and technical execution we expected. While some editing improvements were possible, many of the concerns stemmed from the original composition and image capture.

What was most disappointing was the response when we reached out to discuss our concerns. Rather than immediately posting a negative review, I felt the professional and respectful approach was to contact the business directly and attempt to work toward a resolution. I provided detailed feedback and requested either additional proofs, access to more images, or some form of accommodation. Those requests were declined, and the response relied primarily on contract language (READ every detail of contract).

I recognize that others may have different experiences, but I believe prospective clients should understand both the final product and how concerns are handled after delivery. For us, the combination of unmet expectations regarding the photography and the lack of flexibility in addressing our concerns resulted in a disappointing experience.
