We had the perfect rehearsal dinner at Acme upstairs in their Reef Room. Cheri was so great to work with when planning - communicative, helpful and accommodated our many unique requests. The room upstairs is beautiful (dark and moody - exactly what we wanted) and they even set out fresh flowers on the tables! The best part is the upstairs outdoor balcony where we took a ton of photos. And obviously the food - they have the best oysters in all of NOLA (the constant line outside will tell you all you need to know about how good they are). We had raw and chargrilled and a full buffet.

Our planner recommended their private dining room for our rehearsal dinner and it was perfect. Can’t beat acme for oysters and the room was perfect with exposed brick and chandeliers. Felt like authentic New Orleans!

We used Acme as a rehearsal dinner venue. The food was AMAZING! The setup was fun and intimate, and they even let us play a video! All in all we were super pleased with everything!

We rented out the top floor of Acme Oyster House and had a shrimp boil and other cajun favorites from Acme. Yummy! The event was somewhat casual so this was the perfect place. The service was AMAZING, from booking with the GM Jason Lenior to the staff during the reception. Everyone was so helpful and we got a ton of compliments on the event. There was plenty of room for our one man band, dance floor, tables to eat at and even the patio to have some fresh air or a break from the action. I highly recommend!!

As soon as we started planning our New Orleans destination wedding, we knew we had to have our welcome dinner at Acme. (Note: Why doesn't Wedding Wire have a vendor category for rehearsal dinner?) The renovated second floor private event space is the perfect spot for a fun cocktail style party. We wanted a "mingly" dinner, not a sit down style event, because we wanted to use the opportunity for guests to get to know each other. It worked out perfectly. The space is lovely, the bar is gorgeous and the balcony is wonderful. The oysters were a hit, as were the other buffet options (including jambalaya, gumbo, fried shrimp, and red beans and rice). We had the place for 3 hours and many people stayed the whole time. The event planner, Cherie, was very easy to work with and responsive, the staff was great and very friendly, and everything went off perfectly. Would highly recommend for any casual private event.

The private room upstairs was perfect for our welcome dinner. The balcony was great for photo ops and the tables were set up just right for allowing for eating and mingling.
