From start to finish, Southwest Wedding Films was phenomenal. The process was seamless — from making the deposit to the wedding day itself. On the big day, the team arrived right on time, and even when I decided last-minute to add an extra hour, they captured everything beautifully without missing a beat.

Brad, the owner, made me feel like family. For our very first interview, he actually called me while he was at a concert with his daughters, just to introduce himself and share a bit about who he is and answer any questions I had. Later, while away for the weekend with his family, he still took the time to send me samples and make sure I felt confident and comfortable. That level of care really stood out.

The final films exceeded every expectation. Our feature film is absolutely stunning. We also received a full ceremony video, which meant the world to me as the bride — I was the last one to enter, so I didn’t get to see everything live, but Brad and his team captured it all so I could relive those moments. They also recorded the toasts, which are memories we’ll treasure forever.

We knew from the start that photo and video were top priorities for us, and we had a high budget set aside. Southwest Wedding Films offered a very comparable price point but delivered so much more value than we ever imagined. They even included breathtaking drone footage — during our rooftop photo shoot, they filmed the sunset with rich, vivid colors that still take my breath away every time I watch it.

If you’re on the fence about whether or not a videographer is worth it, I can promise you it absolutely is. And if I had to make the decision all over again, I would choose Southwest Wedding Films 10 times out of 10. Truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day.

We are so thankful that we made the choice to hire Southwest Wedding Films. Initially, we were not 100% sold on the idea of having a wedding videographer. For the price, we weren't positive it was really necessary, but Brad and Avery at Southwest Wedding Films absolutely proved that we made the right decision in choosing to hire a videographer! Brad was a breeze to work with during the planning process and his kind and positive demeanor just made it all so easy. He uses an online document to gather your wants, needs, and thoughts for the wedding day video, then follows up with questions if needed. He worked seamlessly with our wedding coordinator to get all of the details on the day-of timeline. He and Avery divided and conquered to make sure all the bride and groom pre-ceremony details were captured, then teamed up to make sure the ceremony and everything after was thoroughly captured. They worked perfectly with our photographer team to sync up and make sure no shots had to be redone because photo or video was missing. They were as minimally disruptive to the reception as possible - they made sure to only pull us away as needed for shots so that we could maximize our time enjoying the ceremony! To put it plainly, they were a joy to work with. After the ceremony, we were seriously impressed with how quickly they put our video together and delivered it to us, and we were floored with the final product. They captured our day perfectly with a combination of video from stationary cameras, moving shots, drone footage, and audio. The final edited video truly looks like a movie. We have watched it over and over and over - even a brief video has allowed us to relive the day in a way that complements our wedding photos amazingly. These guys are the professionals you want and, take it from someone who had doubts, you will not regret hiring them!

I am amazed at how fantastic the whole experience was! Our video from our wedding day brought us both to tears. Everything is so perfect, we were both thrown back to our wedding day. Brad and his team were a joy to work with. He seemed to really care about capturing our wedding day and the love that was being celebrated, and the final product did not disappoint. When I started planning my wedding, I did not think of hiring a videographer, I thought pictures would be enough. Shortly after attending the Bridal Brunch in August of 2014, I started getting emails from A Contrast in Light but I didn't think much of it. Finally one day I decided to call Brad up and schedule a meeting. One of the best decisions my husband and I made. Brad was so easy-going, attentive, and always available to answer our questions. As soon as we received the link to our wedding video, tears immediately started flowing. He captured the best day of our lives so beautifully and perfectly. Brad and his team are simply the best. They seriously know what they are doing, and they are amazing at it. They really work with you to give you a uniquely you shoot, but at the same time give you amazing work. I can't recommend Brad and his team enough. I am highly impressed with the work, and the value is simply amazing as well. Better than some more expensive photographers I have worked with in town...this is the place to go, seriously. No other photographer was willing to get every aspect of the day for me, start to finish! I didn't have to choose between different parts of my day, he was there for all of it! His videography work is probably even more amazing than his photography, and that is REALLY saying quite a bit, you will not be upset with anything you get from Brad!
