This venue and Rebecca were absolutely amazing! We were worried our ceremony and reception would be negatively impacted by Covid, but 409 made it super easy even with some new regulations added. Our wedding went even better than I could’ve dreamed up! It was the first time we felt normal in awhile, and It wouldn’t have been possible with any other venue. I highly recommend not only because of the great customer service, also because of the beauty of this vintage repurposed venue!

409 S Main has been a dream venue space. On top of the space being stunning...it is very versatile from a room set up standpoint and the lounges are wonderful for getting ready for the big day. On top of that, the event staff was wonderful to work with. I would recommend this space over and over again.

The moment we entered the venue we knew this is where my daughter's wedding reception would be. The venue is absolutely beautiful and Rebecca is a complete joy to work with. We could not have been more happy with everything about 409 S Main.

This venue is unbelievable--the owner, Rebecca, is very accommodating, and there's so much space you can arrange and dress up however you'd like!

What's more, 409 S. Main also offers three features you'll be hard pressed to find anywhere else:

First, it provides something that's hard to find in the mid-South: a warehouse-like space that's not fussy or frilly! We were looking for a place that could go modern and clean, and 409 S. Main was perfect! (Although you could also go rustic or industrial--as I said, it's flexible!)

Second, as of April 2017, there were no required vendors--a huge plus if you ask me! That way you can pick the food and flowers (and everything else) that YOU want--you can save lots of money this way by shopping around, or you can spend more on the elements that really matter to you! Don't want a one-size-fits-all wedding with the same food and flowers everyone else gets? Book here!

Third, all of this is on offer RIGHT DOWNTOWN. Midtown and East Memphis are lovely, as are Germantown and Cordova, but if you want your wedding to truly, unmistakably feel as though it's in Memphis AND NOWHERE ELSE, then this is a terrific bet--it's literally right across the street from the National Civil Rights Museum, less than a mile from the world-famous Peabody and Rendezvous, and a couple of blocks from Central BBQ, Beale Street, and the Mississippi River! The access this venue provides to these landmarks is second-to-none.

I can't express how happy we were with every aspect of this venue--visit for yourself to see how amazing it is--you won't be sorry!

This venue is gorgeous. The owners have put so much love into renovating the upstairs space. It is the perfect venue for a downtown wedding. It captures the roots of the south main district perfectly. And the owners are amazing - so sweet and accommodating! I am so incredibly glad we found this gem to get married at. <3

409 South Main is the perfect venue! Heather and Hunter were so awesome to work with. The space is beautiful and huge. 409 isn't like a lot of venues. They don't have an approved caterer list. Or very strict rules about what vendors you use. Being located on Main Street, it set the perfect backdrop for pictures.

409 South Main was a great place to get married. It's a huge venue with three floors. They really went out of their way to help make our wedding perfect. They are knowledgeable and resourceful on every aspect of the wedding process. They were easy to get in touch whenever we had any questions. We didn't have to worry about a thing, making our special day completely stress free! The venue offers a very cool and unique atmosphere, not the cookie-cutter wedding experience that many places we visited offered. Would definitely recommend this venue for any big event you may have!
