The main bridge before the entrance to the Clifton Inn will be under construction during the weekend of the weekend of the wedding and there will be a DETOUR! 

The following directions describe how to get to the Clifton Inn from various directions taking the detour into account:

From Downtown Charlottesville
Take Route 250 East 7 miles
Turn left onto Route 22 / Louisa Road
After 1.6 miles, turn right onto County Road 744, Hunt Club Road
Turn right onto County Road 731, Keswick Road, and follow this for 1.3miles
Turn right onto Route 250 West.
Take the first left onto Route 729, North Milton Road
Clifton is the second driveway on the left

From Richmond
Travel on Interstate 64 West
Take Exit 129, for Keswick, Boyd Tavern
Turn Left onto Black Cat Road, County Road 616
Turn Right onto Route 250 West at the traffic lights
After 3.4 miles turn left onto Route 729, North Milton Road
Clifton is the second driveway on the left

From Lynchburg/ Roanoke / Danville
Travel on Highway 29 North
Take Interstate 64 East
Take Exit 129, for Keswick, Boyd Tavern
Turn Left onto Black Cat Road, County Road 616
Turn Right onto Route 250 West at the traffic lights
After 3.4 miles turn left onto Route 729, North Milton Road

From Washington DC (Direct Route)
Travel on Interstate 66 West to Gainesville
Travel Highway 29 South to Charlottesville
Take Route 250 East 7 miles
Turn left onto Route 22, Louisa Road
After 1.6 miles, turn right onto County Road 744, Hunt Club Road
Turn right onto County Road 731, Keswick Road, and follow this for 1.3miles
Turn right onto Route 250 West.
Take the first left onto Route 729, North Milton Road

From Washington DC (Scenic Route)
Travel on Interstate 66 West to Gainesville
Take Highway 29 South to Culpeper
Take Route 15 South to Gordonsville
Take Route 231 South to Shadwell (will become Route 22 – - do not turn)
Be, aware the next turning is easy to miss
After 3.8 miles turn left onto Hunt Club Road, County Road 744
Turn Right onto county road 731, Keswick Road (after the rail road crossing) Follow this for 1.3 miles
Turn right onto Route 250 W
Take first left onto Route 729, North Milton Road
Clifton is the second driveway on the left

From Charlottesville Airport (Direct Route)
Highway 29 South to Route 250 East for 7 miles
Turn left onto Route 22/Louisa Road
