Our wedding cake was a highly anticipated part of our special day, and the team at Zingerman’s Bakehouse truly exceeded all of our expectations. During our initial consultation, Alyce was extremely helpful in guiding us through the many design options and hand-sketched the most beautiful cake that perfectly captured our wedding style and vision. The tasting box that they put together for us was absolutely delicious, and my husband and I had the best time picking out flavors from their many offerings and recommendations before finally deciding on their vanilla chiffon cake with lemon curd and raspberry buttercream. We really wanted to incorporate fresh floral arrangements on our cake, and the Zingerman’s Bakehouse team worked seamlessly with our florist to coordinate the design and set-up. On the day of our wedding, the cake was stunning and exactly how we envisioned it, and our guests endlessly complimented how absolutely delicious it was. After our wedding, the Bakehouse team also went above and beyond to help us coordinate for a replacement top tier for our anniversary after our hotel mistakenly threw ours away. We really can't thank Zingerman’s Bakehouse enough for their incredible work and for making the entire process easy and stress-free. We highly recommend Zingerman’s Bakehouse to any other couples looking for a beautiful and delicious cake for their big day. -

Our cake was everything I wanted it to be. It was absolutely gorgeous (though I may be biased, we got to help design the cake), and it tasted absolutely phenomenal. We had three cake flavors, and our guests had a blast being able to try them all and pick their favorite (which was the apple spice cake). The whole process, from tasting and designing the cake to seeing it brought to life was so much fun and everything turned out so much better than I could have ever wanted! -

My fiance and I some ideas of what we wanted our cake to look like but for the most part were pretty clueless. The ideas we had were all over the place and our designer really went above and beyond. She captured what we were saying in one drawing and it was very impressive. -

Grace Sent on 06/17/2018We loved working with the Bakehouse! The cake was delicious, our guests loved it, and it was beautifully decorated. The sugar flowers were unbelievable, and even matched some of the flowers in the wedding. They even made a small gum paste version of our cat, which was awesome :) The cake matched the image we had initially discussed with them during the consultation, and came out even better than we imagined! -

Morgan Sent on 05/31/2017Love love love Zingermans!!! When my fiancé and I had our consultation we were treated like royalty and Alyce sketched out our dream cake right before our eyes! All of the flavors we tried were amazing to the point we couldn't decide what we wanted! About a week after I contacted zingermans asking if they could make certain cakes with fillings we hadn't tried yet and they did no questions asked. They are absolutely wonderful to work with if I could give 100000 stars I would. We will definitely use Zingermans in the future for special occasion cakes :) -

Their staff was so nice and they worked with us to figure out what we wanted and their tasting experience is great! The cakes were delicious and they even gave us a tour of their facility. They use local and natural ingredients, which is very cool! I definitely recommend them! -

Meghan Sent on 10/18/2011Zingerman's was our favorite stop at school for a treat and we went to our cake tasting thinking we were just going to get a sample, but not expecting to get our cake from them as it is a little expensive. After just a few bites, we knew we couldn't pass it up. We ended up getting a smaller cake that we served at brunch the following morning and served another cake at the reception - and Zingerman's was very amenable to this arrangement. The cake was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. It was also delicious - everyone kept telling us it was the best they'd had. I would definitely recommend Zingerman's if you want a star dessert! -
Amanda Sent on 11/28/2017We used them for the grooms cake, the wedding cake, and the favors and before I get into the design, I just want to say that to cake was delicious and the people we worked with were incredible. All of our guests complemented us on the cake because a lot of the time wedding cakes can be pretty disappointing. To be honest, our wedding cake didnt end up looking as good as I would have hoped, I knew going into it my design idea was a bit out of the box, but I wish they would have just told me that it was unrealistic. The grooms cake was perfect and so were the cookie favors! Really cute. At the end of the day, I was pretty happy with how everything went because in my opinion, the taste is what is important.
