We had an excellent experience with Zales. My engagement ring and wedding band set was reasonably priced, and his wedding band was very inexpensive. The quality is excellent, and it is insured which is great.

We actually visted the Quincy, IL store, but I couldn't find a link to them on the site. The staff was always eager to help either one of us if we needed it. You could tell that those employees truly enjoyed their job.
On a specific occasion, I was strolling through the mall with my fiance at the time and I knew that I needed to pick up his engraved wedding band which he did not know about...so he went into another store and I explained that I wanted to get the ring without my then fiance finding out. The representative worked very quickly to get everything that I needed so that I could be done before he got back! He never knew!! I am forever grateful to her for working that out with me :D
