  Yasmin is amazing!!

  Yasmin did both our engagement and wedding photos and we can't say enough good things about her! She is the perfect hype woman and her photography style is absolutely beautiful. She is incredibly professional and personable. My husband and I were nervous about being the subject of so many photos, but she made us feel so comfortable and the photos she took were so natural. She was organized and got all the shots we requested along with many more things. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend Yasmin for any photography needs! She is the best!

  Best photographer ever

  Yasmin has been the photographer for two of my children's weddings. She is absolutely fantastic. She is organized, fun, exceeds every expectation, and produces breathtaking photos. She is not only the best photographer, she is the best of all the people we worked with on our weddings. If you want the best experience and best photos, Yasmin is the choice!

  Helped make our dreams come true!

  Yasmin and her team, simply put, are “the best”. Going into your special day there is a lot of stress, nerves, and anxiety to be perfect - Yasmin not only takes incredible photos but makes you feel amazing throughout the whole process. Gives you the right amount of direction, doesn’t sacrifice quality but makes it a fun and confidence building experience. Most importantly, she made my bride feel amazing and have fun. Couldn’t recommend enough for not only the amazing memories, but the way she made us feel. Truly a highlight.

  Wedding Coordinator- Worked with Yasmin!

  As a coordinator, working with a good photographer is SO important. Yasmin was amazing! She was on top of everything, energetic and helped the couple have a great day along with great photos! Highly recommend Yasmin!

  Incredible Photographer

  Yasmin is an absolute all-star. She is so professional and obviously a master of her craft. She's extremely communicative and even has OOO emails to let people know if she's not readily available to respond (super helpful during stressful times!). She also brings such positive, warm vibe that I can't emphasize enough. Wedding planning is such a stressful experience and she really helps to make it less stressful and more fun, like it should be! Her photography is so classic and beautiful, she's able to captures magazine worthy shots but also perfectly captures the joy and emotions of the day. Her editing is fantastic, no weird filters, just beautiful vibrant shots that perfectly capture the happiness of the day. I cannot recommend her enough.

  Absolutely perfect experience!

  I am not surprised Yasmin shows a perfect score on Wedding Wire, her skills, demeanor and professionalism absolutely reflect those marks! Yasmin was incredibly easy to work with from the pre-planning through our big day and after. She kept the mood light and fun throughout all of the shoots, particularly the wedding party shoot which was in rather hot weather! The final products were absolutely stunning, she has such a great eye for posed as well as candid shots. I am so happy we chose Yasmin to capture our once-in-a-lifetime day, and we enthusiastically recommend her for yours!

  Simply the best!

  Yasmin photographed our wedding in August 2019. She was recommended by our coordinator and also happened to shoot some weddings of friends whose photos I loved. She is an amazingly talented photographer and such a wonderful person….the kind you’d want to be around on your wedding day. She was so unassuming which meant our photos captured all the true emotions of our day. She also had an amazing energy and was so good about staying on time and checking in with appropriate vendors when needed….at one point she even managed to track down a granola bar for me when I said I was hungry 😊 Neither I nor my husband consider ourselves “naturals” in front of the camera…in fact it gives us a little anxiety. Yasmin is so good about giving guidance, and we were so thrilled with how all of our photos turned out. After many rescheduled attempts due to weather, we also did our engagement session with Yasmin which was such a nice time to get to know her and get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day. What we loved about her photos is that she has a very natural approach. Even our portraits didn’t look super staged or posed. Finding a photographer was by far one of the more stressful wedding tasks-- there are so many to choose from that all have such different styles. What we ultimately loved about Yasmin's work is that her photos are so joyful and timeless…not “moody” or heavily filtered. She is well worth the investment and then some. I’d also recommend springing for the second shooter even if you have a smaller wedding (ours was only around 130). It was so nice to have candid photos of our guests that were taken while we were doing portraits. It also meant that we got a whopping 1,500+ photos. A testament to how awesome she is was the fact that Yasmin was thoughtful enough to send us our wedding photos the day of our one month anniversary…I hadn’t expected to have them for a few months! I don’t have enough good things to say about Yasmin. I hope she can capture special moments for us in the years to come!

  The Best Wedding Photographer in Portland

  When we first met Yasmin, we were taken by her eyes, her warmth, and we’d be remiss to not mention her white sweater with a knit flower stitched into! She imbued such love and positive energy into our first conversation, we left our consultation with her saying, “She will make our families want to smile.”
  So naturally, when the date arrived, we were more than thrilled to have Yasmin and her team capture the intimate moments--the first look, the drive to the reception, some kissy shots on the street, and then delighted to have her at the helm, getting all of our neurotic relatives to compose themselves for the group shots. Her work does speak for itself: It’s gorgeous when it is staged, and it is thrillingly alive when it’s candid. And also gorgeous when candid, and thrillingly alive when staged.
  But Yasmin Khalani shoots with love. And as we have flipped through the photos of that special day, we are so grateful for Yasmin’s her craft, talent, and guidance during our wedding day.
  What’s more--as invisible as she was as our photographer, her enthusiasm made it feel like she was just another one of our close friends, snapping a shot at our party.
  It’s a special thing when you can look back at your wedding album and smile, not just because the pictures are gorgeous, and your happy to spend the rest of your life with your partner, but because you know this pictures of love, were taken with love.
  We cannot recommend Yasmin Khalani more, and also, we highly recommend her sweater choice.

  Yasmin was totally the best vendor selection of our entire wedding! From day one she was there to support as a photographer but also as a support during what can be a stressful time. When the Eagle Creek Fire disrupted our engagement picture plans she was quick and flexible to help us get another plan in place. For our wedding, Yasmin was not only a photographer but she also helped us organize the events of the day of the wedding and was great at helping to coordinate during the wedding itself. Whatever we needed she had it handled-- including when we lost the bridal room key more than once and needed makeup for touchups. Somehow she is able to do all of this AND take great photographs of the wedding. With Yasmin you get so much more than a photographer, she's a true dedicated wedding and photography expert in one awesome package!

  Our planner recommended Yasmin and we are so happy that we connected! Yasmin is so awesome to work with and her style is very eclectic, classic, and original all at the same time. She made my husband and I feel very comfortable in front of the camera so our photos captured the true essence of our relationship. She’s super responsive and professional, but, more importantly, she’s so fun to work with! She’s so incredibly talented that I’m still in awe at how our pictures turned out! We still get compliments on our engagement and wedding photos and are so grateful that we found our forever photographer!

  Yasmin is a photography genius!!

  Yasmin is the sweetest person in the whole world and I couldn't be more happy about choosing her as our wedding photographer! She made us feel so comfortable and our pictures turned out AMAZING. The day after my wedding I found out about a bustle mishap on my dress. I was so mortified and I cried the whole next day figuring all of my first dance and father-daughter dance photos would be ruined and those would be all I had to share with family and friends that weren't able to attend. Unbeknownst to me, my sister asked Yasmin if she would be able to fix them and Yasmin, being the photo editing wizard that she is, completely salvaged the photos of those special moments during my wedding. I can't imagine how much extra time it took her to carefully edit those photos to make sure my dress looked how I wanted it to and I thought that was going way above and beyond what was expected of her. I truly can't thank Yasmin enough for all of her wonderful work. Everyone was obsessed with her and with all the final photos turned out so good!! We got married at the World Forestry Center in Portland, Or and she knew all the most perfect spots up there to take photos. She is an absolute professional and I can't recommend her highly enough!!

  Yasmin is the sweetest person in the whole world and I couldn't be more happy about choosing her as our wedding photographer! She made us feel so comfortable and our pictures turned out AMAZING. The day after my wedding I found out about a bustle mishap on my dress. I was so mortified and I cried the whole next day figuring all of my first dance and father-daughter dance photos would be ruined and those would be all I had to share with family and friends that weren't able to attend. Unbeknownst to me, my sister asked Yasmin if she would be able to fix them and Yasmin, being the photo editing wizard that she is, completely salvaged the photos of those special moments during my wedding. I can't imagine how much extra time it took her to carefully edit those photos to make sure my dress looked how I wanted it to and I thought that was going way above and beyond what was expected of her.   Yasmin is awesome! My husband and I were looking for a photographer for our outdoor wedding, and we found her website. We loved the way her photos combine natural light, flora and fauna, and the happiness on the faces of the couples clearly. My husband isn't a always a willing subject, and she kept mood light and fun, helping us catch all our special moments while blending into the fun of the day.
  Yasmin worked with us to find a package that fit our budget, and was able to get through our long list of family photos in a fairly short time frame. Our photos turned out wonderfully, and were easy to access from her online print store, and via the cute and crafty usb she sent us. We will be calling her again to help us capture our special moments in the future!

She was always incredibly responsive and with good input from her vast experience. We had an incredibly detailed and long shot list for the wedding and reception. She and her second photographer rocked it with an endless amount of patience and smiles all while managing our wily and large family (we had 7 flower girls...). I wish we would have hired her for the whole weekend! Our pictures turned out amazing both capturing candid moments and planned shots. And we got them back within a month of the wedding!! Honestly, could not have been happier and would highly recommend her. Seriously consider hiring her for your pre-wedding events too!

  Yasmin is so wonderful to work with! I'm not used to being professionally photographed, and I was super nervous I'd look ridiculous. Yasmin took charge, though, helping us look our very best with every snap. I'm so grateful for her creative energy and assistance in making our shots look incredible.
