  Harold performed our wedding on 09/14/12 as a part of the Pensacola Block Party Wedding. My wife and I found out that we had won the Pensacola Block Party Wedding, however as we approached the date of the wedding, we found out that the "wedding planner" did not have any plan on who was going to officiate the wedding. I called Mr. Garrett and explained the situation and he was gracious enough to provide his services "pro bono". My wife and I met with him prior to the wedding and he was very professional, we discussed traditional and non-traditional vows and he provided some direction on what we should include. He was prompt on his arrival for the wedding rehearsal as well as the wedding. He was professional in his demeanor and his attire. Also, we added a special part in our vows to honor our mothers and he was more than willing to oblige. I would definitely recommend Harold in the future, he did a wonderful job to make our special day perfect!

  Harold Garrett has been performing wedding ceremonies for Can-A-Lope Wedding Ministers since 2008. His most recent ceremony was 10-20-12. Harold has always conducted himself in a very qualified and professional manner. His experience has a way of shining through each wedding he performs. We highly recommend Harold, he will do a great job for you.

  We hired Mr. Garrett for our ceremony and paid him half of the cost to hold our date and time. We booked him about 3 months out from our wedding date. We agreed on what was to be read.
  The morning of my wedding he called and told me we needed to ensure our wedding started on time as he had another ceremony to go to. (it was an hour away from our location). As you know, it's rare weddings start on time. Ours did however. He cut our ceremony very short, did not read the vows we had agreed upon, and was in such a hurry, he didn't allow the best man or maid of honor to sign our marriage certificate. Very disappointed in his services. This added extra stress on me throughout my day of getting ready. I didn't find out until after the ceremony that he parked in the middle of the road and blocked traffic until after he hurried thru our ceremony. Look else where!! He overbooks himself and cuts your day short.
