  DIYing was the best decision ever!

  After getting some initial quotes from florists for our wedding, we decided to save a TON of money and do it ourselves. Emily was INCREDIBLY helpful, super responsive, and very easy to work with! We made our initial order several months ahead of time, and then made several adjustments to it, and she was always very flexible and patient. I had watched a ton of youtube videos and done my research, but she still managed to offer some great advice that I hadn't encountered elsewhere. We picked up our flowers 2 days before the wedding, and they were absolutely stunning and perfect! Everything was perfectly in bloom for the wedding day, nothing wilted even a little bit, and two days later our arrangements still look great!

  DIY Wedding flowers

  I did my own wedding flowers and everyone at the WFM was beyond helpful. They went though my gigantic wish list and narrowed down types and what was in season. All very resaving priced!

  Emily answered every question I had concerning types of flowers used in the pictures I saw on Pinterest. She gave me quotes on the flowers and greenery I was interested in. She suggested less expensive substitutes which was so helpful to keep us in budget. I was so pleased with the service and quality at WFM! I would definitely recommend them to all brides!

  Family-owned Gem!
  Our wedding was on 11/05/16 and working with Emily was a dream. I had no idea this place existed until my aunt recommended it from her wedding in July. I emailed the place, got a response within 24 hours, scheduled an appointment, and I was impressed.
  Emily is capable, honest, and amazing at understanding what you want for your wedding. Our one hour appointment was so productive - we went through at least ten different flowers, colors, and greenery in different mixes. She had different suggestions for look and explained characteristics like texture that make a difference. Since my bridal bouquet was different from my bridesmaids, we took the time to talk about the differences and why. She was very upfront about prices; I never felt pressured to get a more expensive flower, and I never felt like I was sacrificing the look I wanted for a cheaper flower. Your money goes a long way here - a similar boutonniere for example would have roses as compared to carnations at another location.
  After that in person appointment, we communicated through phone and email. I had to make some changes to the contract, and it was done efficiently.
  The day of, the flowers were picked up at the appointed time and delivered in beautiful vases and wrapped plastic containers. They lasted for a long time, meaning the flowers were ordered and created close to the day of instead of being in the fridge for a week prior. I highly, highly recommend Wholesale Flower Market on their own and especially in comparison with others in the area.
  I had some negative interactions with florists who did not respond to emails or acted brash and dictated to me what my vision was for our wedding. I was ready to give up and go to Sam's Club, so visiting here was a last resort. Do not make this place your last resort; you won't regret it.

  I worked with Emily at Wholesale Flower Market Inc. and she was so fantastic! She helped me put together a whole diy flower order with individual recipes for each arrangement. When we arrived to pick up the flowers that we ordered for my wedding day, she asked if there was anything we were unsure on how to put together. We were pretty nervous about the boutonnieres and she took the time to help us with a quick crash course. She then gave us tips on how to transport our flowers once they were arranged, which proved to be life saving for our beautiful flowers!! On our wedding day we got so many compliments on how beautiful our flowers were.   Call and request Emily! My friend recommended WFM after meeting with Emily for her own wedding last fall. I couldn't have been happier with the quality of the floral arrangements and the value - everything was perfect! I met with Emily to go over what I was looking for, she made great suggestions and everything was exactly how I imagined! The floral swags held up all day in nearly 90 degree weather with the sun beating down on them for over 10 hours.

  using them for my Fall 2016 wedding, because my sister used them in June and it was incredible! Emily was so knowledgeable and led us in the right direction for every arrangement that we wanted. She taught us how to do it ourselves and put together beautiful bouquets to carry. Hands down, the best experience!

  Great option for diy brides or if you want to have someone design arrangements. I had flower crowns made, and we did the rest ourselves. The crowns were perfect, and our flowers were all beautiful.

  Wholesale Flower Market did an amazing job on our daughters flowers for her wedding. Emily Williams has an eye for design and color.   Emily and her team are amazing! Wholesale Flower Market is an amazing place that has every single kind of flower or greenery that you could want. In one meeting with Emily in mid-February, I knew what everything was going to look like for my wedding in November. She sent reference pictures of the flowers after the meeting, which was incredibly sweet and gracious of her. On my wedding day, I nearly cried because the arrangements were so gorgeous. So many people have asked where we got our flowers because they were so vibrant, fresh, and colorful. They even took one of my Grandma Grace's handkerchiefs and a beautiful brooch and arranged them around the stems of my bouquet, and it was like she was there on my wedding day, even though she passed away in July 2013. It was so special to have those two items with me on my wedding day. Emily and her team are incredibly reasonable with their prices, and those prices give you incredible value. Check them out - They are some of the best flowers in the entire Tidewater area! I hope to use Wholesale Flower Market over and over again.

  My wedding planner used them for my centerpieces-my flowers were gorgeous. I ended up going into the store to buy flowers for petals after awful customer service at Greenbrier Florist. By the time I walked into the shop I was ready to cry, but after getting assistance from Emily and getting what I needed I felt much better. Emily is so sweet and professional and she really loves what she does. She helped me pick out flowers and even put them in my car. Don't waste your time going anywhere else. Wholesale Flower Market has the best prices, flowers, and customer service.

We saved so much money using this vendor which provided us the ability to do the arrangements ourselves and we didn't sacrifice quality! The arrangements they assembled were beautiful as well so no matter what route you decide to go, I would highly recommend visiting Wholesale Flower Market in Chesapeake. Ask for Emily!!

We scheduled an appointment for the next day (since my wedding was only 3 weeks away). We looked at flowers and she wrote me a quote and design suggestion. She chose amazing flowers for me and had so much knowledge.
  
  On the day of the wedding, my dad went to pick up my bouquet. His phone died and didn't have directions to get there. Emily called and said that no matter what, the bouquets would get to me (all the way to Hampton!!). She would deliver them. Thankfully she stayed late, and my dad made it to her.
  
  Emily made all of my flower dreams come true...She even added a few flowers that I REALLY wanted but were out of my budget due to the season. I highly recommend them!

  Overall, we had a great experience. Kathy was very helpful in desiginign and creating flowers for our wedding. She helped us save money and gave us great flower choices. I also got a large quantity of loose flowers as I wanted to decorate the tables myself. Her bid was less than I thought it would be and the flowers were exquisite - exactly what I envisioned.   Emily did a great job helping me with my flowers. I had a vision and some to tight specifications and she was able to produce beautiful bouquets with the tulips. Even though my red and white tulips were not available, she was able to create a beautiful combination that was able to fulfill my vision.
