I used Karen Downes for our flowers and it was a disaster. I was never able to get in contact with her after trying and leaving messages on her phone at many different times for months. I was charged extra because of the flowers that I picked and then I was not given any of the flowers on my wedding day that I payed for. I feel that I was ripped off and I am very dissapointed in her business. I have tried to get some kind of a refund since I was given mostly fake flowers that I did not order and I payed extra for real flowers and the flowers looked terrible. She will NOT call me back, and I am truly discouraged by her business, and I would NOT recomend using her!

My wedding nightmare!!! Would never recomend or use her services agian. I ordered silk flowers from her. I got them late. Theyb were not what I ordered & paid for. They quality of flowers would be what you would usein a fish tank...maybe. I got the flowers a week before our wedding & it took 3 days to reach her (through e-mail, she would not answer her phone or return my calls). Then she refused to fix the flowers. The only good thing was she did end up refunding my money. I had to go to another shop to get my flowers fixed and redone.

My flowers were gorgeous. We had a mix of beautiful white flowers and orchids, and my bridal bouquet cascaded down the side of my dress as I held it. They are going to look fabulous in photos. They were prompt. I met with them at a Starbuck's with a stack of pictures and what I received back was exactly what I had in mind. One small detail, I did not know that my orchids were going to be silk. My only change is that I would have known that ahead of time. All in all, I would use them again. They were elegant and to be honest the groom didn't have any idea they were silk. Mixed in they looked real. Thanks again. Overall we were very happy.

Slow to respond, difficult to get a hold of. Flowers were beautiful. Grandmother of the groom kept putting her corsage in the fridge thinking it was real!

The flowers were perfect. They looked, felt, and smelled real. They were amazing!!! It was so nice not to worry about having to maintain the flowers and ensure they didn't die before the wedding. I would highly recommend them. If you have any doubt, or are just curious, Karen will send you a sample. I was sold as soon as I received it. Our guests loved the flowers as well.

I used to be a wedding planner and have worked with many florists over the years but when it came time to plan my own wedding I was skeptical about using silk flowers. After looking at Karen's work, I was convinced that I should at least try.....When they arrived to me in Canada, I couldn't have been more pleased with my flowers....they looked real and even felt and smelled real!!!! I had one small issue with one of the bouquets.....not only did Karen help me out, she re-did the bouquet and re-sent it to me......Karen, I have never worked with a nicer more accommodating vendor than yourself in my 13 years of planning weddings.....You are 5 star all the way and deserve all the accolades I could possibly give someone! Karen created the most beautiful flowers for my wedding and was truly a pleasure to work with!! She was very helpful with any questions or concerns I had for her. All of the flowers that I purchased from Karen for my wedding were beautiful. Everyone thought that they were real, but kept wondering how they could be so perfect. They photographed wonderfully!!
