Ed from wemarryu.com performed our ceremony and he was WONDERFUL. We had a simply ceremony in my parents backyard with our closest 130 or so family and friends. Ed put both me and my husband at ease, and performed a beautiful ceremony (as many of our guests commented on). I must admit, I had trouble finding an official. Some of the most highly recommended ones were well over $600, which did not even include rehearsal attendance. I am so lucky to have found Ed and wemarryu.com. I would highly recommend this company.

Ed was our officiant. He was great. Very professional right from the beginning. He met us for our consultation, went over everything. He would email us our sayings and vows until we got exactly what we wanted. He even organized our rehersal the day before the wedding, and he was my eyes at the wedding telling me who was there, how many and what to expect. He did a great job and even took care of getting us our official marriage certificate. Highly recommend!

We really liked Jim Manuel at Wemarryu. We paid $350, which we found very reasonable. He is very kind and took the time to speak to us separately so that he could create a ceremony that included personal elements, which I am very grateful for. A month before the wedding, Jim informed us that he was having surgery on his arm. We did not think this was going to present a problem. After the surgery, we heard from Jim and discovered that he had to have a breathing tube during the surgery, making his voice very weak. We were assured that this would not hinder the quality of the ceremony. The next time we saw Jim was at the rehearsal. His voice was very quiet and raspy. Our parents both said that from the front pews of the chapel, he could not be heard. Since this was the night before the wedding, there wasn't much we could do. He said that he was saving his voice for the wedding. The wedding day, however, was not much different. Many of the guests mentioned later that they could not hear him during the ceremony. We recently received the video of the wedding and he can barely be understood. I do not fault Jim for having surgery, however, knowing that he was going to be barely audible, I wish he had passed the wedding to his partner, or given us another recommendation. I regret not being fully aware of the situation, so that we could have come up with an alternative.

Despite this, I would still recommend Jim. I would recommend 100% Jim, not barely-heard Jim, that's all.
