  Barbara helped us create the most beautiful ceremony we ever could have imagined. She really listened to us and used our input. She handles herself very professionally. We both felt like she was a source of comfort during the ceremony. We felt very supported by her. Barbara is a good, genuine person!

  Barbara was wonderful! She customized the ceremony to reflect all the things we talked about, and was relaxed and flexible to enjoying the ceremony in a fun way with us. We really liked her.

  Barbara was an absolute pleasure to work with, and wrote the most beautiful ceremony for us. She sent us a questionnaire to get to know us better and this made the ceremony very personal.

  We were so blessed to have Barbara be our officiant. She has a beautiful, loving spirit. I was impressed with her from the start, and although I lived in DC at the time, I booked her immediately - she gave me such a great impression over email. We filled out a detailed questionnaire, then we met her in person on a planning trip. My fiancee trusted and liked her immediately, he was very impressed by her too. Barbara spent plenty of time getting to know us.
  Barbara spent a lot of time writing a beautiful ceremony for us. When I first read it, I teared up, and I am not a cryer. Our families commented on how beautiful the ceremony was, and they felt it really fit us and spoke about our relationship and how we compliment each other so well. We couldn't have been happier with the ceremony. Also, Barbara was so helpful at the rehearsal, she directed our families with amazing tact and grace. Her direction on the little things was clear and i remembered it well during the big event.
  I plan to stay in touch with Barbara throughout our lives. She is that good.
  Bravo Barbara. You have our highest recommendation.

  Barbara was so wonderful to work with. The officiant was the first service we chose when we decided to get married, because we wanted the ceremony to reflect our love for one another. When we read the vows that Barbara put together for us, we cried. Barbara is very gifted and blesses those she comes into contact with. Thank you, Barbara!

  Barbara Koenig was wonderful. Every vendor I talked to also said they enjoyed working with her.
  She was very down to earth and very friendly. She tailored our wedding to include our son, a reading from my sister, and details of my husband and my relationship. The ceremony was beautiful and brought tears to our guests eyes. What she said about my husband and I was so personal and very nice. The DJ forgot his lapel mic for her and she rolled with things by simply projecting her voice louder. No one even knew there was an issue. Her price and value beat all others. There are definitely some officiants out there that are too over the top, pushy, and loud for me---this was not Barbara. I think that the officiant sets the tone for your entire wedding and she did the best job ever. I have never attended a wedding where the ceremony was so personal and so beautiful. If Barbara is free for your day, I suggest booking her quickly. I met with every other officiant in the area and none compare.

  All we can say about Barbara is that she really made it simple, easy and exactly how we felt about each other and what we wanted to say. I kept looking at her as she was smiling at us both during the ceremony, made me less nervous and that we were the only 2 people that mattered to her in that time. Dressed great. She does all sorts of ceremonies so we knew that it would be nice to use her since we are doing a sort of beach location not so churchy like. Wonderful....we hope she will still be doing this whenever we decide we want to renew our vows!
