We hit the jackpot with Wavelength... TWICE!

Our family has hired Wavelength for each of our daughter's weddings. You can't go wrong with them. They are so talented and fun; they really know how to get your dance floor FULL! They are also amazingly organized which really helps your reception happen without any issues. All of our guests were so impressed with the band... they are still talking about how great the reception was!
Due to Covid, we had to delay by one year and they couldn't have been any more flexible.

Wedding on Great Diamond Island

Wavelength stole the show at our wedding! They were absolutely fantastic and better than any band we could ever ask for. They sound so great live and had everyone dancing. They really read the vibe of the room. Lindsay was also so great to work with and she catered to our needs (a guitarist at our ceremony, a jazz trio at cocktail hour, and the band with a saxophone at night). They were truly so fun and sounded great! They are a band that practices ahead of time and really knows there stuff. We were so impressed and absolutely loved having them!

Amazing band

Wavelength band made our wedding so special! They offer the ability to customize every music aspect for the entire day, learned our first dance song specifically for us and everyone raved about how great the music was! The communication from day was was amazing, ensuring all of our wishes were carried out perfectly. They had a huge album of music for us to pick from, as well as the ability to pick and choose what instruments we wanted for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I would definitely use them again if I ever needed to book a band for an event!

The best party!!

We planned our entire wedding long distance - and had to reschedule due to the pandemic. We had seen rave reviews about Wavelength and had a great experience working with Johnna through all of the ups and downs of rescheduling our date. When the day of our reception finally arrived, the band was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. They were flexible and open to specific song requests and kept everyone on the dance floor all night! Our guests all raved about Wavelength and we are so grateful to them for helping us celebrate in a phenomenal way!! The band was one of the most important vendors for us and we cannot recommend them highly enough!

Wavelength is the band for you!

The decision to choose a band versus DJ is always one that comes up in wedding planning. Wavelength makes the decision to choose their band easy. First, Johnna, the band manager goes above and beyond for her clients. Through re-scheduling with the pandemic, Johnna was with us every step of the way and kept us sane. She is extremely organized, she takes any worries you could have out of the picture in regards to ceremony and reception music for your wedding.

Second, the band itself is unlike any wedding band we have ever encountered. The crew brings amazing energy and Lindsay the lead singer does an fantastic job as the emcee. At one point during our evening I looked back at the tables and no one was at them, every single one of our guests (ages ranging from teens to 80s) were on the dance floor. Al, their drummer, is somehow able to simultaneously drum and rap. Their range of songs played is exceptional because of the talent of the band members! They can do everything, from 80s to current hits and their website has a huge list of their songs. Whenever we talk about our wedding, everyone always brings up how fun the reception was because of Wavelength.

Simply put, Wavelength brings unparalleled exceptional service and is something that you and your guests will smile and remember about your wedding day for the rest of your lives!

Fantastic!

The band played all of the songs we requested and kept the whole group in the dance floor all night! From 16 year olds to 75 year olds ! Fantastic group! You will not be disappointed!

10/10 Amazing Band

We had an amazing experience with Wavelength. They made all of the planning and prep work so easy on us. Their music choice was perfect. It got every generation on the dance floor together. Their energy was so fun and they're clearly very talented. I would recommend them to anyone. We discovered them from another wedding that was also incredible fun with incredible music that got everyone dancing. I can't say enough good things!

Best Decision!

Hiring Wavelength was one of the best decisions we made in the planning process. You can't afford NOT to have live music at your reception. My brother (who is a musician) as well was complimenting the bassist saying he was the best he's seen, my grandparents complimented the music selection since we included some classics in the dinner and dance set, and our friends were on the dancefloor until the very end. The lead singer/emcee made everything run smoothly, pronounced difficult names correctly, and was so professional and talented! Perfect Band for Our Day

Our wedding coordinator recommended Wavelength and we weren't really sure what we were gonna get. ...but boy are we glad we booked them for wedding in July of 2021. Wavelength played our ceremony and reception. They were completely professional and thorough with the planning. They played the songs we wanted them too, and they kept everyone moving and grooving on the dance floor. They were a joy to work with. Highly recommend.

HIGHLY Recommend!

I highly recommend Wavelength band to play at any of your gatherings/weddings! They were always available with prompt responses during the planning process prior to our wedding, and really performed when the day came!! They emcee as well which helped keep things going smoothly as the night went on. Band manager Johnna would check in with me throughout the night to make sure all of our wishes were met! So many compliments on their performances from our wedding guests, most saying “this was the best wedding we’ve been to”! From someone who hates to dance…they even got me on the dance floor!! :D Thank you to wavelength for being the icing on the cake!! Video below from our wedding with their excellent performance!

Couldn't Have Been Happier

When planning our wedding reception I knew I had to have Wavelength! I had seen them perform many times for other events and they were fantastic. They did not disappoint! We danced throughout the night to rave reviews from my family and friends. Johnna was quick to respond to my every email and took the time to meet with me to ensure every detail came together. Wavelength was the best!

Wavelength was amazing! We got married this past October and we found them early on in our planning process because everyone recommended them so highly. Their website is great but I wanted to see them live, however we live in NYC so it was difficult to make it up to Maine. My parents went to see them and insisted that we book! Johnna did a great job keeping in touching the band was so eager to learn our first dance song--which was definitely an unconventional choice! From start to finish Wavelength was great. They did a great job picking up on our vibe and knowing when to play which songs. They really directed the flow of the evening and their dinner music was a good as their dancing music! Would definitely go with them if we did it all again!

Don't Miss Out!!

Must have Wedding Band!!! Nothing short of AMAZING. If you're looking for a Wedding that will have you and your guest ranting and raving for years to come, Wavelength is the Band for you. I have been following this band for years. The morning after our engagement I contacted the Band Manager, Johnna, to see if we could make a dream of someday having them at MY Wedding a reality. She was an absolute pleasure to work with from our first email to the Wedding Day and EVERYTHING in between. It was a true blessing to have the Band there with us to celebrate. With a large selection and variety of songs at their disposal, they will be sure to have your guests up and dancing. When asked to play a new song for our 1st dance (My Girl-By: Dylan Scott) they took the time to learn it and absolutely nailed it!!! We couldn't have asked for a better performance. The lead female singer, Lindsay, will have you standing there in AWE. This band is full of talent and you can see/feel their love and passion. They will truly deliver an unforgettable experience. Best wedding band

Wavelength made our wedding a more special, fun celebration than we could have hoped for. Incredibly easy to work with, especially because we had the wedding on Great Diamond Island. They had to get all of their equipment over on a ferry and they did it seamlessly. Johnna, the manager, was extremely prompt with emails and phone calls, and exceptionally helpful working out all the little details we never thought about. We got the sense she truly enjoyed working with us to ensure the day was a special one. She also worked tirelessly with all the other vendors we hired to make sure the day was well coordinated. Once the big day arrived, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Our guests, about 178, never left the dance floor once they started playing (we could easily have double the size of the dance floor space). Their song selection was perfect for us, and you could tell they loved the energy and enthusiasm from everyone. We received a TON of compliments about the band and music. To me, if the guests leave wanting more, that's a good sign. We feel blessed Wavelength was part of our special day.

Best Band Ever!

Wavelength was absolutely incredible!! I can't say enough wonderful things about them. Their manager, Johnna, was the most responsive and helpful vendor we worked with. She was organized and helpful both leading up to our big day, as well as day of. The music on the day of our wedding was phenomenal. Paul played acoustic guitar during our ceremony, and then the whole band played during our reception. During our reception they did an unbelievable job reading the crowd. Their dinner music was perfect, and then they played an awesome mix of oldies and pop songs. It was all fantastic! Our dance floor was packed the entire night. We've had many guests tell us that Wavelength was the best wedding band they'd ever heard. And, I agree! I wish I could give them 10 stars because they deserve it. I HIGHLY recommend them. I promise you won't regret it!!

Best Wedding Band Ever !

From my first conversation with Johnna, the band manager, working with Wavelength was a joy! She was so responsive, organized, and excited about helping us plan our wedding throughout the entire process. On the actual wedding day, the band was AMAZING ! They played with such high energy during the dancing set improvising with great guitar and drum solos, it was hard to get anyone off the dance floor ! We asked the band learn 3 songs for the wedding (including our first dance!) which all sounded perfect day of. Many guests came up to us later that night and the next day to gush about them. Paul also played the acoustic guitar during the ceremony and cocktail hour which was also lovely and a perfect addition to our outdoor nuptials. Book them!!

Amazing and soo much fun!

Wavelengths is AMAZING! From day one Johnna was willing to work with my budget, was very responsive to emails, and was very professional. She worked with my other vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. The day of my wedding she did amazing at keeping everything on schedule which made me feel totally relaxed! During the reception the band was amazing. They played great songs, got everyone up on there feet and dancing and even played a few extra songs!! I would definitely chose this band over and over, they are the best!

Wavelength was absolutely amazing! Working with Johnna, the band’s experienced and incredible manager, was a complete joy. She was very responsive, communicative, kind, and truly knows the industry. The band itself made our wedding day incredible. Every member of Wavelength is super talented and amazing performers. After our wedding, one of our guests told us that they’ve never had to compete for dance floor space more than at our wedding. Wavelength had everyone out there dancing and having a great time all night. They were even able to learn a few new songs that we requested that weren’t already part of their impressive repertoire! Also, they had no problems taking a ferry over to our wedding on Chebeague Island and bringing all their equipment. Paul did an excellent job providing the acoustic guitar music for our ceremony as well. I cannot recommend wavelength highly enough!!

We were thrilled that we chose Wavelength to play for our wedding! They were absolutely fantastic! We received so many compliments after the wedding about how amazing the music was for our wedding reception. The dance floor was buzzing all night and they played a great range from new music to classic wedding staples! We also had the guitar player play for our cocktail hour, which was a great touch.

Johnna, the manager, was so easy to work with prior to and during the wedding. She was extremely responsive and worked with us and other vendors to make the evening as seamless as possible for us. The band was very accommodating in learning a song for our first dance and we also worked together to help put together a playlist everyone was happy with.

I couldn’t recommend Wavelength more as a wedding band. From start to finish, just perfect!

We are so happy we chose Wavelength for our wedding! Throughout the wedding process, Johnna, the manager, was extremely responsive and understanding with all our requests. They're also highly active on social media, so it was super fun watching all of their instagram videos and pictures leading up to our big day. The band even learned our first dance song for us! They did an incredible job with energizing the crowd, MCing, and bringing FIRE to the dance floor! After the ceremony, dinner and making sure we said hi to all of our guests, all I envisioned on my wedding night was to be up on the dance floor having the best time with those closest to us. That's exactly what happened, thanks to Wavelength. All of our family and friends are still raving about how wonderful the band was! This band is incredible. My husband and his family are music lovers and having a great local band was extremely important to us for our wedding day. We literally planned our wedding around having the most time possible set aside for dancing and we couldn't have been happier with Wavelength. They play such a wide variety of songs and are so talented. They are also incredibly easy to work with and their manager Johnna is so wonderful. I could not praise them enough for allowing our wedding to have 3 straight hours of dancing to a great list of songs. We had so many compliments about the music and they are the best local band I have heard at any wedding.

John and I couldn’t be happier with our experience with Wavelength. They played at our reception under the tent at Falmouth Country Club and every guest we spoke to raved about how talented they were. The energy they brought was something that a DJ simply can’t compete with, yet many guests mentioned that the songs sounded so good that they thought they were listening to the originals! We also deeply appreciate that they learned a few special songs for us.
Johnna was fun to work with and extremely receptive and professional. Going into the big day, we were at ease knowing that Wavelength would run the show according to our plan and get the party going ASAP!
Paul played guitar at our ceremony and we’re so content that we chose to add that service. He set the tone for our deeply personal ceremony. He was also kind enough to practice and play “Canon in D” with my friend for the bridal processional.
I’m confident that there is no better wedding band for couples getting married in Maine. I’m forever a Wavelength fan and will sing their praises to every couple I meet! Thank you!!!

Wavelength gave an AMAZING performance at our wedding! Our guests are still talking and inquiring about the band. They were unbelievable! Literally every guest was on the dance floor all night long. Staff at our venue kept commenting on the amount of people dancing from the start of the night until the very end. We were so impressed with Wavelength's ability to read the mood and vibe on the dance floor and pick songs accordingly. Johnna the band manager was also fantastic to work with in the year leading up to our wedding. She was kind, helpful, organized, prompt, and an absolute delight. How much fun can you have in one night? Wavelength played at my wedding reception and they were the hit of the party. We could not stop dancing. We have all heard bands that play great danceable music, but we also sat out one or two songs. There was no sitting when Wavelength was playing. We were on the dance floor the entire evening. They kept pulling out one great tune after another and playing them with every flourish you’d expect. The singing was great. The lead guitarist played some memorable riffs. We cannot say enough good things about this band, and our wedding guests continue to offer the highest of praise for the band. We should also add that they were easy to work with. They did not make demands on us in terms of travel or lodging. They were open to suggestions for the song list, and wow what a great list it was to begin with. Not the same old wedding band ‘70’s and ‘80’s playlist, but lots of current hits. They did a number of memorable covers that we would readily include on our own devices to listen to regularly. Don’t hesitate to book Wavelength as I cannot imagine that there is a better option.

We are SO glad we booked Wavelength for our wedding. Their manger, Johnna, was wonderful and made everything seamless and easy from our perspective. Our dance floor was packed right away the night of our wedding, and Wavelength kept it that way the whole night. They read the crowd and responded so well, including a very extended version of my mother's favorite song to dance to... :) We have had many of our guests ask us afterwards for their name. We recommend them 110%. Thank you, Wavelength, for making our reception an amazingly fun party!

If you never want your guests to leave the dance floor, you want Wavelength to play at your wedding!! Wavelength provided amazing music for our reception, as well as our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests could not say enough great things about the band -- more than one person said they were the best wedding band they'd ever heard (and we agree!)

We had the band play acoustic guitar for our ceremony (the guitarist learned a song especially for our recessional), light music for the cocktail hour, and full party music for our reception! They even played "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" in its entirety near the end of the reception, which was just beyond. All of our guests were on the dance floor, and so impressed by how they rocked it out! A highlight of our day for sure :)

The band members were all friendly, and so invested in making sure our day was exactly how we envisioned it. Lindsay was an amazing MC (and singer!), and Johnna, their manager, was a joy to work with throughout the planning process. She helped us so much along the way with the timeline, song selection, and many of the little details we would have forgotten about, and she was quick to respond quickly to any questions or concerns we had - which is such a plus for busy brides.

Wavelength played at our wedding on July 2, 2017 in Harpswell, Maine and they were AMAZING!! Everyone was on the dance floor having a great time from the moment they started playing through the entire night. They played a perfect mix of songs that everyone really enjoyed. Johnna, the manager, was also so great to work with leading up to the wedding and she made the whole process so easy. She was very prompt and thorough answering our questions and made us feel so at ease when we prepared as the wedding was approaching. That was so nice since we live almost 2,000 miles away from Maine. After the wedding we received SO many compliments about how great the band was and had people asking us about them to possibly use at their own events. If you want a band with great energy, amazing sound, and easy to work with, then we HIGHLY recommend Wavelength. You just can't go wrong choosing them!

Wavelength was everything that you wanted in a wedding band. Most notably they were extremely organized and on the ball through every step of our wedding planning process. Johnna was amazing to work with. I really can't say enough about her. She kept everything stress free throughout the planning process and was very patient with us getting back to her with our busy schedules. They were more than willing to accommodate our special requests for songs and extra touches to make our wedding one for the history books. Our guests loved them and we were asked numerous times, "What was the name of your wedding band? They were amazing!" They are extremely talented and Lindsay is an amazing singer. They will appeal to all ages and have an impressive set list! A no brainer! Don't make your wedding planning more complicated than it has to be! Just book wavelength and don't stress about the entertainment.

Wavelength was awesome! They played at our wedding on 1/14/17 at the Rivermill in Dover, NH and everyone was out on the dance floor all night. One of the guitarist even played during our ceremony (Here Come's the Sun) and it was beautiful. The manager, Johnna, was great to work with. We had multiple calls leading up to the big day to go over songs we liked/disliked and all the logistics of the wedding. They even learned a song for us! I loved how they played more of the oldies in the beginning and then switched to some of the hits towards the end. At one point, my wife and I were in a dance off and the song was ending, but they kept it going! It was so cool. We couldn't have asked for a better band for our wedding and we received nothing but amazing feedback from all our guests. Thank you Wavelength!

Wavelength is amazing - They sound good on the website but they are UNREAL Live and in person! Great personality, energy, voice and overall musical talent! Very well put together and professional!

We had a wedding of 200+ guests. Wavelength kept EVERYONE on the dance floor the entire night! Overwhelming amounts of compliments about the band! Our venue (in this business for MANY years) mentioned to us that he had never seen such a large crowd stay dancing for so long!

Wavelength played at our October 2016 wedding at French's Point and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Johnna was so responsive, proactive and organized and I knew going into the weekend that we would be taken care of. The band was even better in person than their samples we had heard. Band – First of we wanted to start by saying definitely pick a band over a DJ for your wedding. We have been to so many weddings with a DJ and it's just not the same vibe as a live band. After saying that Wavelength was beyond what we could have imagined. Not only did they play every song we selected they also learned 2 new songs a few weeks before the wedding which made the day even more special. The bands manage Johnna was lovely to work with and is very organized and on point about all the details. All the members of the band were engaged with the crowd the whole time and kept the party going. Overall picking Wavelength as our band at our wedding was the best decision and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a live band for any event.

This band was amazing. At one point during my daughter's wedding reception, I think all but maybe 5 people were on the dance floor. What a fabulous, energetic, talented band they are. I can not say enough about this band and their manager, Johnna. From our initial contact with Johnna to the days following our wedding, Wavelength was a dream to work with. Johnna was SO responsive to every email and phone call. She made us feel so comfortable and confident about the band (even though we had never seen them in person). Our wedding took place outside and the band came in like mice and set up so quietly in a tent nearby. I didn't even know they had arrived! When I joined cocktail hour, Johnna greeted me right away and was so patient and amazing while I tried to say hi to everyone while getting the low down on entrance announcements. Lindsay (lead singer) was so great in every way. She and the band were great MC's for the night and so respectful of everyone and everything.

Now let's talk about the music!! It took about 3 seconds of the band playing for the entire dance floor to fill up. We had to move tables out of the way to allow for more people during the FIRST SONG. The band rocked out all night and the dance floor was always PACKED. My guests chanted ENCORE ENCORE after their last song and they were so great - they played one last jam! It has been about 1 month since the wedding and we still have people contacting us to rave about the band and the music. Thank you Wavelength for adding so so much to our wedding day. You helped make it so wonderful and fun!

Choosing a band was a HUGE priority for me when planning our June 2016 wedding. I had always known I wanted a band, but not just some group that slogged through things. I wanted one that got people dancing, that made me feel when I had my first dances, that were great to work with. Wavelength took those expectations to an ENTIRELY new level! From my first exchange with Johnna, the group manager, to final hugs with the band members after their last incredible song, the entire process was nothing but a joy. They were kind, professional, fun, generous, excited and blew the roof off! The things I am most grateful for include their flexibility (they learned new songs for us! They played my parents' wedding song! The added a sax player for my husband!) and their genuine heart. Lindsay, the lead singer, is not only an incredible performer but an absolute sweetheart! She worked with us day of to make sure everything went smoothly and even sang my parents' wedding song twice when they missed it the first time. Paul, Garth, Paul, and Al were tremendous! Awesome musicians, great guys, and very understanding when we were 'burdened' with a fantastic venue that kept people moving from the dance floor to the outdoor patio – but always brought them back in! To answer the big questions: Worth the money? BEYOND so. Best decision we could have made Good music? Fantastic. Got people dancing, played everything specific we asked for, and a group we would pay money to see in concert (and plan on doing so many times in the future!) Easy to work with? Piece of cake. Dream team, all around. I cannot say enough good things. Hire them. Hire them now :-)

For our wedding reception live music was a must. We had never hired a live band and to our utmost satisfaction , Wavelength was above and beyond everything we had hoped for! Johnna and the band are, professional, prompt, knowledgeable and know how to to put on an amazing show. When we needed the band to get their earlier to set up, Johnna was flexible and accommodating. If you want your guests dancing all night long with huge smiles on their faces, YOU WANT THIS BAND TO PLAY AT YOUR WEDDING!! Wavelength provided the perfect background music for not only our reception, but for the ceremony and cocktail hour as well. They were the hit of our wedding! We got so many compliments in regards to the band and we cannot say enough good things about them! We had them play piano for our ceremony, guitar and light music for the cocktail hour, and then rock out for our ceremony! They were even up for learning a new song for us to play as our opening number for the dancing at our reception. The band members all had great personalities, were friendly and sounded AMAZING! Also, Johnna, their manager, was super easy to work with and helped us so much along the way with the planning. She helped make our planning a wedding from a distance (we live in NC and GA) so much less stressful than it could have been. She was easy to contact and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. The entire experience working with her and this band was fantastic. We have used Wavelength during our cocktail hour, and dinner hour for 4 years in a row, and will continue to use them for our high end dinner parties. They have such a library of music, playing light dinner music, upbeat cocktail music, as well as the ability to get a crowd of 300 dancing the night away. My sister and her husband chose Wavelength for their wedding in Kennebunkport in June, 2012. My sister, who is a serious music fan, chose Wavelength as soon as she heard them perform. Three years later, when it came time for my wedding, I hoped that Wavelength would be available! Johnna and her band happily made the trek from Maine to Massachusetts to entertain our guests magnificently. By learning special songs for our ceremony and first dance, they helped us create memories that will stay in our hearts forever. I would highly recommend Wavelength to anyone looking for a band at their Maine wedding! They were absolutely phenomenal! Johnna, the band manager, was so responsive to my needs. She made me feel well taken care of and was open to suggestions. They learned our mother/son dance song, father/daughter song, and our cake cutting song just for us! They did this with only 3-4 weeks leading up to the wedding as well, I was so impressed! The lead singer and Johnna took the time to organize the wedding party before introductions so everyone felt comfortable. They contacted our venue about set up and details so I didn't have to do any of that! We were dancing the whole night! I saw older people from my church dancing that I had never seen dance! One of my favorite memories is the encore! Everyone was chanting and cheering for the band and then they played Shout! Our reception venue was ROCKIN, so many smiles and laughs. I had to stop and pause a moment during this song just to look at how happy everyone was. Wavelength was professional and did an outstanding job. I also loved how I gave them a songs request list for each different portion of the night, including during their breaks when they played recorded music and they played exactly the songs we wanted which I was so grateful for! Every song they played was a blast! Paul played the piano during our cocktail hour as well and although I was not there I had guests telling me how beautiful it was and how it was an elegant touch to the cocktail hour. Do not wait to book Wavelength! It was worth every penny. They are even more talented than they sound on their website and will blow your guests away. If you want your dance floor overflowing from beginning to end (and yes, more people stayed until the end than I've ever seen, all because of the lively, talented, fun band), Wavelength is essential. Johnna was a breeze to work with, very understanding, and they played every single song we asked for (which was a lot)! Turns out, even if you serve tuna sandwiches and wear rags to your wedding, it will still be PERFECT if Wavelength plays. Their jazzy dinner set was divine as well, and the band even helped us when we had a technical malfunction with the ceremony equipment.

Wavelength is the best! We could not have selected a better choice for music for our wedding. All of our guests were raving about the band and how great they were – we literally could have danced all night! The members of the band are extremely talented, the vocalists have beautiful voices, the manager is very friendly and on-site to help out during the entire event, and the group as a whole really get into the excitement of the day and are a major factor in keeping the party rocking the whole time! They have a music selection that spans across all genres of music so there’s a song for everyone (including my request for “Timber”) and they are willing to learn new songs at your request.

WOW!! This band is amazing!! They had our guests dancing before the end of the first course! Their playlist is extensive and includes something for everyone, from the favorite standards to more contemporary songs. Lindsay was so professional and organized, and Johnna was so helpful and accommodating. The band learned Dave Matthew's "You and Me" for the first dance, and nailed it! They made us feel us feel so special, like our gig was the most important one they had ever played. Our guests had so much fun, and the dance floor was packed all night long. This band offers it all. From an incredibly diverse play list to flexibility and professionalism, this band delighted us and our guests. All of our expectations were exceeded by Wavelength, from the initial pricing request, through planning, up until the band packed up to leave. Johnna is so helpful and professional and will ease all worries that you might be forgetting something. The playlist they have is so vast, and they were incredible. Paul played beautiful acoustic guitar at our ceremony and even worked with my parents to perform a surprise song in the middle of our ceremony. Then the cocktail hour-- he killed it there too! The reception started with Lindsay introducing the wedding band which was flawless and so fun. Then ... the reception. What can I even say about the reception other than we made the best choice ever in Wavelength. Every single person at the wedding danced all night-- the dance floor was huge but it felt tiny because these guys had all 140 of us on it for every minute of the night. The energy was fantastic and the talent in that group is worthy of such a better title than "wedding band". They are true professionals and lovely people to boot. If you book this band, your wedding is sure to be talked about as the most fun wedding your guests have ever been to.

Wavelength provided AMAZING music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. Months later, we are still getting compliments from guests of all ages on their performance, professionalism, and playlist. Johnna, the manager, was extremely well organized and made the entire process run smoothly even as we planned from afar. Aside from a few key songs (e.g. first dance, parent dances, ceremony pieces) we gave the band full reign on the playlist and they did not disappoint. The dance floor was packed all night due to a great mix of oldies and current music. They even learned a special request for MKTO’s “Classic.” One complaint we often have of live bands at weddings is that the music is too loud for conversation during cocktails and dinner – despite being in an open warehouse with minimal acoustic insulation Wavelength played at just the right volume all night. Wow! This band really did the trick. Wavelength was a HUGE hit at our wedding! All night long, and now 3 weeks after our wedding, we're still hearing our guests tell us how much fun the band was, and that the music was amazing. "That girl (Lindsey) can really sing!"

And they were such a pleasure to work with! We had the opportunity to go to one of the band's rehearsals and they played some of the songs we chose from their fully loaded playlists. It was a wonderful evening, and we were welcomed with open arms by each member of the band.

Paul played acoustic guitar during our ceremony, which took place at Sugarloaf. It was a cold, misty, fall day and as I walked down the isle the skies opened up and really started to rain, Paul didn't budge. He continued to play, and stayed through the entire ceremony. As the rain let up and we said our "I Do's" he played a specially requested song to walk us out - it was beautiful and meant so much to us.

In addition to the ceremony, we asked the band to learn a few special songs for the rehearsal, including the song for our first dance. They willingly learned each song and played it during the party - it was so cool, and they were great hits!

When the night came to an end, and our guests started chanting "one more song! one more song!" and the band broke out into a classic Journey ballad, we knew we made the right decision. As one of our guests said (they recently threw a wedding themselves for their daughter) "I can't believe we didn't have to go to Boston to get a good wedding band!"

Wavelength knows how to put the customer first, something we appreciated and respected. They play modern music, and they play it well. The price was definitely worth the final product! You won't be disappointed.

Wavelength was amazing! Johnna and the band made everything so easy for us from day 1 and helped make our wedding personal and memorable in every way. The band is so talented and their range is extremely broad - from oldies to top 40 and even country. They were handled an electricity issue that arose during the night without guests even knowing. We hired Wavelength for our wedding and they were AMAZING!!!! It's been 3 weeks since the wedding and all anyone can talk about is still how great the band was. Johnna was great to work with - she was super accommodating and made herself available whenever we needed anything during the planning process. I cannot say enough good things about the band. They were INCREDIBLE! If you're a little unsure of whether to spend the money and book a band for your next event let me tell you that the money is EXTREMELY well spent. Wavelength is a fantastic band! Our first dance song, The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson, was not in their repertoire, but they were able to learn it and played it wonderfully at our wedding. Everyone really enjoyed the band - many of our guest even got up to dance during dinner before the dancing "officially" opened. Once the dancing started, the dance floor was packed until the end of our reception. One of the first things our guests have said to us after the wedding has been, "You had a GREAT band!" Thank you again for making our wedding special and memorable for both us and our guests!

A fantastic band with a great range of sound, having male and female vocals. They had us dancing non-stop for almost 4 hours with a slew of upbeat songs from motown and classic rock to more modern pop. They took requests from our guests and really got the party going.

A great choice if you want a fun, energetic night.

Wavelength was absolutely a joy to work with from start to finish! Johnna, the band manager, was very helpful, easy to get in touch with, and listened to every detail we wanted included in our wedding. She worked with our venue to make sure our wedding night went off without a hitch! Two of the band members provided the music for our ceremony, we had cocktail hour music provided by them as well and the band was great at introducing all of our guests and making sure they danced the night away. They even allowed one of our guests to showcase his Johnny Cash abilities and they accompanied him to Folsom Prison Blues-it was magical!

From our initial meeting with Johnna until the beautiful ending of our event, our encounter with Wavelength Band was fantastic. Not only is Wavelength a fabulous, talented group of people they are truly professional in every possible way. They worked with us every step of the way and truly helped us plan our event. The music was excellent. They worked closely with us so that we were truly happy with the entire playlist. We had a small wedding of 50 people and literally, everyone danced all night. This band has high energy and really got people up and moving. The best part of all is that they are simply a great group of people to work with. I would highly recommend this band to anyone for a professional, amazing group of talented musicians.

Wavelength was an awesome band to have at our barn wedding. They had everyone dancing all night and even humored us with an encore. Even my husband (normally not a dancer) was out on the floor for the majority of the evening. Song selection was great, even with just some rough guidelines as to what we liked - this busy bride was so happy not to have to spend much time on a detailed playlist!

Wavelength also provided the acoustic music for our ceremony and it was beautiful. Easily adapted to a very unique ceremony and cocktail space in our backyard.

I would highly recommend Wavelength. I can't say enough about how much fun we had at our reception, largely thanks to the great music!

Wavelength was AMAZING!!! The band helped make my husband's 40th birthday an extra special night that we will remember forever! My family and friends keep asking what the name of the band was because they did such a great job! Wavelength was a big part of making the party an absolute BLAST! The lead singer has a beautiful voice. My husband couldn’t believe it when she sang Journey. They were very professional, played all the songs we requested and were one of the best band's I've ever worked with! They coordinated with our function location, were extremely prompt with questions and even played "one more song" when they were supposed to be finished for the night. We just couldn't get enough of them! Their song selection is diverse and all the songs they play are as good as the originals!

Wavelength was absolutely awesome. My husband and I live in New York, but knew we wanted to have our wedding in Maine. We had a fairly quick turnaround time (engaged in January and wedding in September), so we didn't have a ton of time to preview bands before we needed to make a decision. We found Wavelength and read all of their fantastic reviews and listened to their songs online and decided to just go for it. They did not disappoint! The manager, Johnna, was amazing to work with and was incredibly responsive via e-mail and did everything she could to assure that everything we wanted for our wedding day came true. They learned a song for a first dance which they did wonderfully. They kept the party going all night and our guests danced the entire time. They played a variety of music that pleased all generations and also played a bunch of songs that I had requested beforehand. Their rendition of Shout was awesome. Every guest was out on the dance floor! After the wedding, everyone kept telling us how impressed they were with the band. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to use Wavelength, and we would recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely Amazing!

Wavelength was a band recommended to us by our photographer, Russell Caron, and we couldn’t have been more grateful to find them! We live in MA but were getting married in ME so we didn’t know any local vendors. Having this band at our wedding was one of the best decisions we ever made! The entire band is so talented and their playlist is excellent! Lots of choices across many different genres, and every song sounds amazing. Everyone couldn’t say enough wonderful things about the music at our wedding! The kept the crowd going all night and everybody had a blast. Not only did they play at our reception, but we also had an acoustic guitarist play throughout our ceremony and cocktail hour. The guitarist did an outstanding job and it set just the right mood for our ceremony. Also, I have to mention how amazing Johnna, their manager, is to work with! She is so incredibly helpful, professional, and available whenever you need her! She made planning our day so easy and was so flexible when we needed to adjust something in the wedding day schedule. The band even learned new songs for us, which we appreciated so much! Wavelength is a phenomenal band with a lot of talent. They were exactly what we were looking for. We truly can't give enough positive feedback about Wavelength! Our first anniversary is coming up and when we see people they still comment on the band at our wedding!
Having live music was nonnegotiable for both of us and it certainly made the entire night. A solo guitarist played as I walked down the aisle, then the band for cocktail hour and of course to dance the night away. Not only did Wavelength accommodate our varying music tastes (I'm country and he's rock), they learned a song by the Replacements for my husband and belted out my bachelorette anthem "Feel So Close" by Calvin Harris for me and my girlfriends. Oh and their rendition of our wedding song, "You Are The Best Thing" was amazing.
We've been to tons of weddings in the last few years and no band has rivaled Wavelength (even the ridiculously expensive ones)!
Seriously, if you're looking for a wedding band on the Seacoast, look no further, book Wavelength.
We loved them so much we're even going to see them this weekend on a music cruise to relive the night!

My husband and I knew that we liked this band after listing to their demo CD and hearing them play at a venue but they far exceeded our expectations at our wedding. The dance floor was packed the entire night and the music was perfectly suited for our crowd. They even helped our flowers girls (my husband;s young daughter and my neice) serenade the entire wedding with a Taylor Swift song. It made the girls' night and was a special moment for us. I can't say enough about the energy and fun they brought to our reception and to our wedding. All of our friends and family are still talking about it!

Picking Wavelength as our wedding band was one of the best decisions we made. There were absolutely wonderful! Working up to the wedding we worked with the manager Johnna. She listened to all of our requests and made everything very stress free. For example, she was able to provide microphones for our outdoor ceremony. Wavelength had worked with our resort in the past and it was great knowing that the wedding planners at the resort and the band had a history of working well together. A few days before the wedding Johnna was still checking in to see if there were any changes we wanted. The day of the wedding went very smoothly and everything went as planned. Wavelength felt the energy from the crowd and really played to them. They played requests and everyone at the reception was dancing and singing to the music all night!! People are still talking about how much they loved the band and said it was the best wedding they have been too. Wavelength really made the wedding the best day of our life : )

I can't thank Wavelength enough for helping to make my wedding the great success that it was. From the diverse and energetic music played, to the freedom to request particular songs, to being open to the bride and groom grabbing the mic to embarrass themselves onstage, they accommodated it all! They even stayed an extra hour past the scheduled ending time to help round out the party.

Wavelength was a terrific wedding band. People danced the whole time that they played. A great playlist - appealing to both young and old alike. Responsive to advance requests from the bride and groom, but they also know their own style and played with confidence.

I would highly recommend Wavelength for a wedding or other party anywhere in Maine. They played the ceremony, the cocktail party, and the reception. They came up to Mount Desert Island for the event.

The manager was professional, courteous, and very responsive. A pleasure to work with in planning the celebration.

Wavelength was amazing! My husband was given the job of finding a band for our wedding in Maine, and he came across Wavelength. We were a little bit apprehensive initially because we live in FL and were getting married in ME, so we weren't able to see them live. Johnna met with me in person, though, when I was visiting Maine before the wedding, and set my mind at ease. She provided me with a CD of tracks, and we hired them a few days later. We couldn't be happier! The band was outstanding, and often times sounded so much like the original artists of the songs that people didn't realize they were listening to a band! No only that, they learned 5 songs for us (including our first dance song), and Kathleen even looked up the lyrics and sang "Call Me Maybe" acapella for our niece. When the band took breaks, so did our guests, but as soon as the band took to the stage again, people were immediately back on the dance floor! We absolutely made the right choice with Wavelength, and I would recommend them to anyone!

I almost don't know where to begin! Wavelength and their manager Johnna are true professionals. From the first emailing inquiry to the last song at the reception, Wavelength was more than top notch.

We saw them play at the Old Orchard Hot Air Balloon Festival and could see how well they interacted with the crowd, read the vibe of the crowd, and played the songs that got little ones to adults up and on their feet. I think they more than accomplished this at our wedding!

They played very casual, elegant music during the dinner portion of the reception. It was the perfect volume as to not over power any dinner conversation. Following dinner it was a matter of seconds before people joined on the dance floor and at the end of the night our crowd was begging for another encore.

Each member of the band is so talented and you can tell they love what they do. I can't forget to mention how wonderful Johnna is at the organization and communication aspect. It was so easy and worry-free from beginning to end.

I 100% recommend Wavelength. I wish we could do it all over again because I had the time of my life. Thank you Johnna and the members of Wavelength!

Overall: Excellent!! Music quality 10+! most importantly, the dance music was fantastic, we all ended up dancing out butts off until the last song. (Also, the guitarist had some super nasty solos!) We all ended up dancing until the very last song. They did a really great job of learning out somewhat unknown first dance song and did a really nice job with it. After listening to their demo cd we were thrilled to have Wavelength play at our wedding and couldn’t wait to see how they would engage the crowd. Needless to say, we weren’t disappointed. Wavelength was our Wedding band of choice for our wedding last summer. What a great choice that was.
