My team and I love working with Washington Talent Agency, and frequently recommend them to our couples getting married. Most recently, we worked with Sam for a wedding on May 23, 2026 at Fleetwood Farm Winery. He was attentive, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure every detail aligned with the couple’s vision. Sam also accommodated a last-minute song change for the father-daughter dance without issue. He worked well with the vendor team and the dance floor stayed packed all night - he played a huge role in making the celebration unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Washington Talent FTW

We had a relatively complicated ask for Jake and Washington Talent. Not only did he pull it off flawlessly, but he made the whole process easy, clean, and made us feel great and excited in the process. We partied all night!

Washington Talent made it easy for us to find a DJ that best worked for us. From our initial call, we knew DJ Sam was the perfect match. He worked with us to create a playlist that was representative of us and a great party. He had everyone out on the dance floor all night and our guests all had a blast!

Great experience

DJ Jake did a great job at our wedding reception! He listened to what we wanted, helped us come up with an event timeline, and made helpful suggestions. We provided a playlist of songs we liked, and Jake used that as a jumping off point for the music at the reception. Our guests all had a great time! We also hired a solo violinist through Washington Talent to play during the ceremony and cocktail hour - she did a great job as well.

High Energy DJ

Jake was an amazing vendor to work with. He and his team were extremely responsive, professional, and truly set the bar when it came to music and mixing. The quality of the music was above the rest and kept the energy exactly where it needed to be throughout the event.

I especially appreciated having a meeting scheduled prior to the wedding to go over all the final details—it made the wedding day run incredibly smoothly.

I would absolutely recommend Jake to all of my couples getting married and look forward to working together again in the future.

Hire Jake at Washington Talent for your wedding!!

DJ Jake Sherman at Washington Talent is a party master! He kept the party going at my wedding reception all night long. Every guest from our grandparents, to our siblings, to our friends was on the dance floor having a blast for hours. DJ Jake read our crowd flawlessly and curated an amazing song list that everyone could party to. He was also a great communicator and helped our entire reception from speeches and first dances to the Horah and dance floor flow flawlessly for us and our guests. On top of making our night amazing, Jake is so nice and easy to work with. He was always willing to chat and answer any questions we had through the planning process. Wedding Reception

We booked DJ Sam Sherman for our wedding reception. I am so pleased with how everything turned out. To begin, WTA was extremely responsive and gave us information on which DJs were available for our date. We ended up booking DJ Sam and we are so glad that we did. He was incredibly responsive and organized, as well as just being an overall nice and pleasant person. We also had hired a Saxophonist (completely separate from WTA) and despite him running late for our cocktail hour, Sam was able to quickly set up music to provide during cocktail hour which was seamless and very much appreciated. He was incredibly professional and overall a great vibe. Our guests had the best time and I truly attribute a lot of that to Sam. I highly recommend WTA and DJ Sam!

Highly recommend DJ Sam at WTA!

We had Sam as our DJ for our wedding reception in June, and he made our wedding so fun and special! We had a blast on the dance floor and so did our guests - we got a lot of compliments on the music selection and we were so happy to see a great mix of our friends, families, and parent's friends on the dance floor throughout the night. Sam was very easy to work with, got our vision right away, and incorporated a lot of songs from the playlist we sent him with the types of songs we wanted to hear. We had a band for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and an extended hora, and Sam worked easily with them and made the transition feel seamless.

Hire DJ JAKE for the best party of your life!

When planning our wedding, one of the only things we knew we wanted was the night to be a big dance party … DJ Jake delivered just that!! He was so fun, easy to plan with, and made the reception so seamless for us. He brought the best energy to get our guests excited and dancing. The dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night - all our guests could not stop talking about how they had never been to a wedding where EVERYONE danced for so long. Other guests told me they just could not get off the dance floor because each song that came on was another awesome hit! Jake totally got our vibe and picked the best songs for our night just from a few of our “must have songs. ”It was truly the best and most fun night of our lives, and DJ Jake played a HUGE part in making that happen.

Through Jake we also hired a strings duo for our ceremony & cocktail hour, a saxophone player for the reception, and uplights for the ballroom. Each was 1000% worth it and added the most special touch to our day! Thank you for everything, Jake!!

Loved DJ Ralph!

We cannot recommend DJ Ralph enough! He made us feel at easy from the very beginning, super friendly, always responded quickly to any questions we had, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about making our big day exactly what we wanted. We loved DJ Jake!

Ever since our first call with DJ Jake, we knew we had to have him as our wedding DJ! His personality is upbeat, fun, and full of energy - everything you want a DJ and MC to be. His communication throughout the process was fast, and he adapted to last minute changes and requests with no issue. We had people on the dance floor the entire night! He also did an AMAZING job leading the hora. We had a good chunk of guests that had never participated in a hora before, and he gave great instructions that made everyone not only feel comfortable participating but also have a great time while dancing to the hora and helping with the chair lift. Thank you DJ Jake for making our wedding the fun party that it was!

Perfect song choices!

It was amazing working with Chuck and DJ Marc for our wedding. They were really responsive from the beginning and made it super easy for us to plan the playlist for our wedding. Guests could not stop raving about my DJ!

Derron (DJ Tankbeats) brought so much energy to our wedding day. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing him for a few years now and when I got engaged, I knew I needed him to dj my wedding. He was so thorough - working with me and my wedding planner - to make sure entrance songs, first dances, and playlist were on point. He was a straight VIBE, playing throwbacks, dance, and rap that perfectly fit our crowd. He also never played one song for too long and was our there cutting up songs. Everyone at my wedding kept telling me how good he was!

We actually had a ton of rain on our wedding day and he was super flexible working with my planner and event coordinator to get the rain plan in the tent set up. He helped keep everything transitioning smoothly and mc’d our event - announcing important moments and adding some humor in there here and there.

Washington Talent Agency was fantastic. I worked with Jake Sherman to help coordinate things on the business end of things.

Dj jake is amazing!

DJ Jake was one of our favorite wedding vendors! From the start, he was extremely responsive, communicative and thoughtful. We wanted to chat about our music preferences before the wedding, and we ended up having a 45 minute phone call about preferences, logistics, dislikes etc. Jake was SO easy to chat with and we left that phone call feeling so confident about our wedding music. Of course, he blew us away at the wedding! He took all of our likes/dislikes into consideration and helped us throw the BEST party. Our guests all raved about how much fun our reception was because of our DJ. What makes Jake unique is his ability to adapt to the kind of celebration you're interested in having. If I could give 10 stars I would to DJ Jake and Washington Talent agency. From signing the agreement to the day of, things ran smoothly and without stress. Leading up to our wedding day, we met with Jake to discuss songs and I was having a hard time deciding on processional and reception introduction music. He was so calm and made suggestions and was even honest when my choices would not bring the hype. Wow did he get my guests hyped!! I did not expect nor was it planned that my attendants walking into the reception would be dancing and hi-fiving the guests. From that moment on the dance floor was packed! Within 45 minutes of the reception starting I knew I had to change shoes and put my hair up to keep up with the music he was playing. Not only was the music amazing but the flow of the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was on point. Jake has great relationships with other vendors that him and my planner ran our entire wedding on time and without issue. He was part of my dream team of vendors and I can’t say enough about it. Thank you Jake….our guests (and the hotel security staff) loved you!

Isaac was quick to cater to all of our needs down to timing everything correctly. He played everything we wanted to hear when we wanted to hear it and allowed us to make on the fly adjustments without a hitch.

DJ Isaac - Super Awesome!!

We had Isaac as our DJ for our wedding. Prior to the wedding, Isaac was super responsive to emails, had set up 2 zoom meetings (and offered as many as we needed), and even made some custom dance mixes. He was incredible at the wedding as well. He made sure the sound was all good to go for the ceremony and cocktail hour. When it came time to for the reception, he played very fun and dance music with some slow songs here and there. 100% would recommend DJ Isaac! He was awesome.

Jake is easy to communicate with, he is very timely with his responses.

The weeks leading up to the wedding, me had multiple phone calls discussing details. This made me feel very at ease the day of out wedding.

DJ Jake kept the wedding going just as it should.

DJ Jake played just about every genre of music and took music requests. Our wedding truly felt like a night club - which is exactly what we wanted! Everyone at that wedding danced the entire night. People were sore the next day!!

An unbelievable band!

We cannot say enough good things about Encore from Washington Talent Group!!! We just worked with Encore for our June 2022 wedding and they quite literally made the night. Every single guest who we spoke with after that night told us how amazing this band is.

Leading up to the wedding, Darrin, Encore’s band leader, was really easy to communicate with and spent time with us on the phone hearing about what songs we had picked out for our dances, what type of music we generally had in mind, how to introduce everyone, etc. Darrin let us know that they would of course learn our picked out songs and that they would feel out the crowd, tailoring music to our guests as the night progressed and getting a sense of what type of music our friends and family seemed to be feeling the most.

On the night of our wedding, Encore absolutely nailed our first dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance. They played great music during dinner and then gave us the best dance party of all time! The dance floor was packed and everyone was getting so into every song. They are so fun, have such a strong, positive energy, and are SO talented. Each member of the band really is a phenomenal musician.

We feel very lucky and grateful to have found Encore and to have worked with them for our wedding. If you’re considering booking Encore, do it, it was one of the absolute best decisions that we made for our wedding!

Our Dance Floor Was Full

We had originally hired a band through this agency, but unfortunately, the band decided to break up 6 months before our wedding. Chuck was quick to come up with a solution and we ended up booking Jake as our DJ. We had a few calls with Jake to make sure he understood our vibes for music and my type A personality choices for when songs should stop & start. He was on top of it! He picked the perfect mixture of songs for our guests and our dance floor was full for hours!!

DJ Jake is your guy!

DJ Jake was the first vendor we booked for our wedding and we are so happy that we did! You can tell just by talking on the phone that Jake is awesome, fun, upbeat and a seasoned professional. He was always available to answer any questions we had and he spent a couple evenings on the phone with us leading up to our wedding to set the perfect timeline, go over music selections, and just chat about our big day. We hadn't even met him yet and he felt like an old friend, which is such a comforting feeling when you have those wedding jitters. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and Jake was phenomenal! Everything was absolutely perfect. It is very obvious how talented he is when you look at the whole wedding day and see how he is able to flawlessly flow through the pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and dancing. Our guests were ready to dance and Jake brought the energy and was able to read the crowd and pick the perfect music to get everyone going. DJ Jake is one of a kind - you would be lucky to have him!

DJ Jake was a total blast!

We hired DJ Jake as the MC for our wedding reception and he totally crushed it!!! We knew from our first meeting that we hired the right DJ. He is so upbeat with an infectious energy. Hiring WTA - specifically DJ Jake was a no brainer. We didn't have to talk to any other DJs because we knew Jake was the best of the best. Our Special Day

Wta- dj jake

Washington Talent agency is very professional and will do all they can to make your event perfect! We specifically had DJ Jake for our wedding this May and he was not only there for us on the day of the event but also months leading up to it. With all the COVID restrictions and constant changes with our venue, my husband and I would reach out to him about how we can still make our wedding fun and every time he was always so positive and upbeat, we would get off the phone feeling good about our wedding again. At one point we were not going to be able to have any dancing unless it was outside and Jake said, "Don't worry about it, I will bring the equipment to set up inside and outside and we will make it work, your day is going to be fun and perfect." And of course it did all work out! The wedding was perfect and everyone danced all night! DJ Jake is awesome! And we highly recommend him or anyone with WTA.

Great vibe and an amazing experience!

Washington Talent Agency, DJ Jake

Due to covid-19, we had to change our wedding plans quite a bit from a large wedding to a small intimate ceremony. DJ Jake was incredibly helpful every step of the way. He met up with me twice to view the new location and plan out each part of the ceremony and reception. He was very responsive via text and email whenever I had questions. DJ Marc is the best!

There are countless choices that you have to make when it comes to planning your wedding. Choosing Marc to be our DJ was, without a doubt, one of the best choices that my husband and I made when it came to our big day. Marc was the DJ at my sister’s wedding in 2017, so I was well aware of his ability to get everyone up on the dance floor and having a good time. What I didn’t appreciate until my first conversation with Marc is that Marc does so much more than just play music.

Marc has been the DJ for over a thousand weddings. He is incredibly enthusiastic and passionate about what he does. Marc made it very clear from the very beginning that he was committed to making our wedding amazing from the moment the music before the ceremony started playing to the last song on the dance floor ended. He did just that. Like many people, my husband and I were nervous and overwhelmed with the idea of deciding how the wedding would go and our coordinator wanted a detailed timeline of when we wanted things to be done (when to have the first dance, when to cut the cake, when to have the father daughter dance, etc.). Marc took the time to meet with my husband, my mother, and me on his own time. He walked us through each important event during the ceremony and reception and asked us how we wanted it to be done. When we were clueless he gave us amazing suggestions and when we were sure that we wanted things done a certain way, he made it happen.

Marc communicated with all of our vendors and coordinators to make sure that the wedding flowed the way we wanted it to. Marc is able to communicate with just about anyone and keeps the bride and groom’s priority his priority. He is quick to respond to emails too! Marc is also quick on his feet. Our reception took a slight turn from the way we had planned because the toasts took longer than anticipated and the vendors started serving the food sooner than we had planned. Marc saw that this was happening before I even noticed and quickly adjusted when the father daughter dance would be so that the meal would flow smoothly and not be interrupted. You would have never known that this was not the original plan.

Marc is the best of the best.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with DJ Jake for our wedding in November. From start to finish he went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect. Marc Wilner at Washington Talent was perfect

Marc Wilner was incredible in every respect. He was the DJ for our big day at the Mayflower Hotel in DC. He was extremely responsive and communicative before the wedding. On the day of, his song choices were absolutely on-point. They were so good in fact that looking back I wish we had actually given him fewer "must-play" song requests than we did and left more of what to play up to his judgement.

After the reception, we had multiple guests come up and call the DJ out specifically in just how great he was in playing the right song at the right time and keeping the energy high throughout the night. If you're looking for a DJ for your wedding, stop searching and just book Marc.

Dj marc was amazing!

DJ Marc was the DJ for both our wedding ceremony and reception and he was absolutely fantastic!! We selected him as our DJ through a recommendation from our venue and he did not disappoint. We cannot thank him enough for the amazing customer service, professionalism, and thoroughness he provided us throughout the stressful wedding planning process. DJ Rich was our best wedding decision

We recently hired DJ Rich for our wedding reception and he exceeded our expectations in every way. Leading up to the wedding, we have two planning phones calls with him, and he was not only easy to talk to and flexible, but offered excellent suggestions on the different reception elements where needed. The day of, he was prompt, professional, and most importantly kept the party going with seamless and excellent music. Everyone loved him and he seemed to be having a genuinely good time keeping everyone dancing. Our wedding wasn't just a wedding- it was a party!! And everyone had a really great time. DJ Jake was great

DJ Jake was wonderful to work with. We had a number of phone calls prior to the event to make sure he had all of our dos and don'ts. He made sure he knew the names of all of our bridal party members before the event. The ceremony music was perfectly timed during our unity puzzle. He made sure to direct the events of the evening but was unobtrusive, which was very important to me and my husband. He even worked with my parents to get music for a cultural dance troupe as a surprise for me. He also did all of the uplighting for the event which was beautiful. The room had a gorgeous hue without being too colorful.

DJ Marc is fantastic!!

From the first conversation on the phone in March 2019 to our reception on November 9th, Marc was enthusiastic, professional, knowledgeable. He took the time and spoke with us for over two hours a month before our wedding and walked us through every detail of our reception. He was extremely knowledgeable about our venue, and had a great sense of how the reception should flow based on our previous conversations. He knew what we wanted and made it happen. We could not be happier the way the reception turned out. We didn’t need to worry about timing and flow, because Marc was on it. All we needed to do was enjoy our guests, our day, and have fun on the dance floor. I am still getting compliments on how classy and fun our wedding was and that the energy on the dance floor and the music was awesome. We can not stress enough how thankful we are for Marc!! Best DJ Ever

DJ Marc Wilner was THE BEST DJ EVER! Our wedding was so much fun thanks to him. His experience / expertise in wedding reception planning / execution is unmatched. We've had so many of our guests calling us telling us our wedding was the most fun wedding they have ever been to. Marc did a perfect job of MC'ing the event, and ensured everything went very smoothly. He picked the perfect songs to play -- our dance floor was packed our entire 5 hour reception! DJ Jake Brought The Energy

My now wife and I are both vendors in the wedding industry professionally, and between the two of us have worked well over 200 weddings. It goes without saying that we've come across many, many DJ's throughout the years, and choosing DJ Jake as our DJ was a no brainer. Jake was seriously incredible. From the moment we inquired with him, he was so fun, respectful and accommodating. He asked us all of the right questions, and made it clear that he was the man for the job. He was extremely detail oriented, and made the whole day about what would make US and our guests happy, rather than coming to us and saying "this is what I do and don't do".

Our 100 acre farm wasn't the easiest venue for our vendors coordination wise, and DJ Jake had to set up at 3 different locations, hundreds of yards apart. He showed up in more than ample time, with stellar equipment and had every area set up for success. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception went flawlessly. All 200 of our guests were tearing up the dance floor all night. We had a few "must hear songs" for the reception but trusted him enough to take care of the rest and he absolutely NAILED the vibe we were aiming to set. I can truly say DJ Jake made our big day so memorable. Both my wife and I will proudly be referring him to any and all brides/grooms we come across in our own businesses, as there is just nobody else I'd trust to DJ a wedding. Jake you the man!

He's also wonderfully respectful of budgets, and works hard to give you all that you want within your restraints. He's also great at matching up couples to DJs - which is how we ended up with DJ Andy Green!

Andy did an absolutely fabulous job as our wedding DJ. The week before, he took an hour to skype with us and walk through each and every detail. He made suggestions when we needed them, helped us think through every timeline detail, and stayed flexible up to the very last minute. The day of our wedding went off without a hitch, in large part because Andy kept us on time, never missed a cue, and kept the crowd dancing all night long! In addition to supplying music for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, Andy also handled our uplighting (which I made difficult by requesting different lighting at different points throughout the evening!). With all of that, he never missed a beat. I would recommend Andy to anyone looking for an experienced DJ to help them host a flawless event!

Perfection!

DJ Jake made our night!

I cannot recommend DJ Jake enough! From our first phone call with him, we knew he was going to be perfect for our wedding. He took the time to meet with us in person before the wedding and helped us figure out our ceremony and reception timeline. He even called the week before to check-in and make sure we were comfortable and ready for the big day! On our wedding day, everything from the ceremony to the reception music was perfect. He got everyone on the dance floor before dinner was even served and helped us dance the night away, which is exactly what we wanted. DJ Jake was absolutely fantastic!

DJ Jake was an amazing DJ at our wedding! He was great with communication prior to our wedding, extremely flexible with music choices, and really made sure our wedding went as smoothly as possibly. As a nervous bride, he made me feel extremely at ease. We had a phone conference the week of to go over the timeline and music. DJ Jake played all of our "must play" playlist throughout the ceremony and reception. Our guests were on the dance floor the whole night. To this day, we're still getting compliments from our guests how much fun they had at the wedding. I'm so glad we chose him to DJ our wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better night; everything went smoothly and was just perfect! I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Needed a bigger dance floor

We hired Washington Talent for our DJ, Video, and uplighting. They were fantastic! Our DJ - Marc Wilner - had an awesome playlist that incorporated what we requested and big crowd pleasers. We literally needed a bigger dance floor, and people were dancing the entire night! Marc was great to work with and I would hire him again for future events.

Great DJ experience

We hired DJ Marc for our wedding and he was a great choice. He was easy to get in touch with and worked with all our song requests. Our venue was challenging to play music in because it had so many rooms but DJ Marc was very flexible. I would definitely recommend him for any of your DJing needs!

We booked Marc and he was FANTASTIC. If you want to never worry about the DJ and focus on other aspects of the wedding (i.e. deal with stress elsewhere)...hire Marc...he will make you forget about any music related stress.
He played our requested songs; kept the dance party going...and took requests with ease.
Before the big day he was always responsive and even showed up to review the venue a month beforehand with us; so we could get the set up right.

jake was great!

Jake was a great DJ for our wedding. I gave very detailed instructions for our ceremony music, and he did it all perfectly. He also worked with us on microphones for different people during the ceremony.
He talked through the timing and order of reception with us and offered good suggestions. During our wedding, he kept in contact with us and our photographer and coordinator about when we wanted to do certain things.
Bonus- he brings his own uplights, so we didn't have to rent them!

Jake has a great personality. He was upbeat and led the reception very well, and he had great music choices throughout the night. We had just over 100 guests, and Jake kept a lot of people dancing- way more than I expected. Jake is an excellent DJ, and I definitely recommend him.

DJ Marc Wilner is super

Marc Wilner DJ'd our wedding last Saturday. He was fabulous and I'd recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. He was a pleasure to work with, played all the songs we requested, and his other selections were perfect. Hands down- Washington Talent Agency provided the best DJ to make our wedding night unforgettable. We were lucky enough to have DJ Jake join us for our reception and he SERVED. Amazing DJ Experience!

Marc was the absolute best DJ I could have ever hoped for at my wedding! He used the music suggestions we provided and also improved upon them - the majority of our playlist was very contemporary, and he was an absolute genius to add in some great dance music from other decades to make sure everyone could be involved. A wonderful night!

Washington Talent was a great company to work with. They highly recommended DJ Marc, and I am so glad they did! DJ Marc DJ’d and MC’d our wedding on January 19th and it was amazing and unforgettable. My family and friends are still mentioning how much fun they had at our wedding! And my now husband and I are so happy with our selection with DJ Marc. When we spoke with him planning for the wedding reception, we sincerely appreciated his attention to detail. He went far and beyond as to asking how to phonetically pronounce names prior to the introduction to our bridal party, and to telling us there will be dinner music playing in the background and going through the breakdown of events and which song would be playing. For example, for our cake cake cutting he had, “How sweet it is to be loved by you” by James Taylor. And right after we were able to thank our guests for coming out to the wedding. Amazing! Throughout the night I can tell people were having a fun time and DJ Marc’s music selection was very smooth and transitioned well to the next song. He also gave us the option to write a must play list and do not play list, respectfully, and he followed through. His music selection is tasteful and you can just tell he is a pro. Furthemore, he coordinated with our coordinator for the dinner reception area (we didn’t have a wedding planner) and it went by smoothly. We are so happy we went with DJ Marc and Washington Talent! DJ Jake was amazing!

TLDR: DJ Jake is phenomenal: nice guy, plays what you want, and you’ll want him to DJ every wedding to attend from now on.

Music was a really important to my fiancé and I as we planned for our wedding. We had been to a lot of weddings around the state and had seen a lot of DJs we did not like. But, from the moment we talked to DJ Jake, we knew we found the guy who would make our reception a party to remember.

Jake was easy to get in touch with and each time we talked with him, I would hang up, look at my now husband and say, “I just love him.” Jake is genuine; he is nice, he is funny, and he wants you to have the best night of your lives.

I told Jake that I wanted our wedding to feel like a mid-2000s middle school dance (with alcohol) and boy, did he deliver. He played something for everyone, but always stuck to the songs we asked for and the vibe we wanted.

The morning after our wedding, I woke up and sent Jake the following message. I think it sums up perfectly how we feel about DJ Jake: “Jake, I just want to thank you so much again for how amazing you were yesterday. You absolutely killed it and Andrew and I are so so so so happy we found you and how much fun everyone had because of you! I want you to DJ every wedding we go to from now on!!”

Great experience with DJ Marc!

We hired DJ Marc Wilner for our wedding and couldn’t be happier with that choice. He did a great job providing suggestions for the flow of the night, was able to adapt to our random and last-minute requests, and provided excellent music all night for all parts of the ceremony, cocktails, and the reception. DJ Marc Wilner Made Our Reception Pop

DJ Marc was a pleasure to work with leading up to our wedding, he was responsive and friendly. He took our unconventional taste is music and crafted a set that got families whom are not know to dance, going entire night, the venue had to clear tables to make more room to dance! DJ Jake - The man, The myth, The Best DJ

Overall experience with Washington Talent was great. Dave was beyond helpful with all of the questions I had in the beginning while booking DJ Jake.

DJ Jake was even more helpful and amazing. We had a couple phone calls to talk about music and specific songs. He was professional but added his own personality into everything he did, which is why we picked him.

The only thing we would have changed is we would have added a few more current songs into the mix, but that's our own problem for not getting that information to DJ Jake.

I 100% recommend Washington Talent, but I 1000000% recommend DJ Jake. His personality made everyone want to get up and dance and dance the night away.

DJ Derron Brought the Party

Our DJ, Derron, was a consummate professional from beginning to end. He masterfully combined his expertise with the different styles of music that we were looking for. We were floored by and grateful for his commitment to the evening's schedule and the ways that he helped keep our event moving. He paid attention to even the smallest details, from dressing in keeping with our wedding colors to snagging us plates so we could cut our cake!
But WOW did he deliver on our music for the evening. He got everyone on the dance floor - a mix of ages and tastes - and kept them there all night! Our guests complimented us all night about his work. So grateful to have him as a part of our celebration!

DJ Jake was seriously AMAZING! After interviewing several DJs we chose DJ Jake as our wedding DJ because he was so professional, organized and made me feel totally at ease. DJ Jake was so flexible and made the time to meet with myself, my fiance and our on site coordinator months before the event to come up with our day-of timeline. He had so many great suggestions on the timing of things, which ended up making the flow of the evening perfect. Washington Talent has a questionnaire you fill out a few months before your wedding with all the first dance songs and bridal party announcements, which makes things really easy. DJ Jake scheduled time with me before the wedding to go over everything in detail (name pronunciations, special timing requests etc.) DJ Jake kept the dance floor at our wedding PACKED from the moment it opened until the very end of the night. He was able to read the crowd and play the best songs that had everyone up all night. People kept coming up to me commenting on how great the music was. Working with Alana on the front end and DJ Marc for the ceremony and reception was nothing short of incredible. Alana was extremely responsive with my Mom and gave great recommendations along the way. When my husband and I met with DJ Marc a month before the wedding, he completely put my mind at ease by walking through a timeline of the day for me. We called to ask him questions here and there and he was extremely responsive and helpful. NOW- the wedding night....oh my god. He timed out our ceremony music incredibly well, it all flowed together better than I could've ever imagined. We go into the reception for dinner and he played all of the dinner music my husband and I requested and then of course some of his own. Twenty minutes into dinner no one would leave the dance floor!!! We had to postpone toasts and father/daughter mother/son dances over an hour because people just wouldn't sit down. I have the honor of putting up a review for WTA and DJ Marc Wilner, who worked our wedding. The short version is stop reading and hire him now if he is available. All the reviews are true. The longer version is we were looking for the right DJ to make sure the wedding is a blast with lots of great music to keep everyone happy and moving. During our search we were eventually referred to DJ Marc. Doing the research we came across his page and tons of reviews for him. It immediately stood out that not only were there numerous reviews for him, but they were all perfect scores. The reviews made us hopeful that we found our person and we reached out to him. We got to experience one of the first great qualities for him in that he is easily reached and quick to respond. Almost immediately sent us a message giving a little bit of background info and we made an appointment to talk and ask questions. That phone call immediately sealed the deal for us and brings us to one of the next great qualities, he is extremely easy going and understands what people are looking for and how to conduct events. We had an amazing conversation about the event flow and what he does in order to keep that flow going the entire time. He is great about listening to your ideas, never discounting what you want, and works that into the whole event to make sure it goes exactly as you hope. After we hired him on, we remained in regular contact and he even came out to meet us to go over final details of the wedding. The wedding itself went off without a hitch. Great job with playing all of our song picks and incorporating additional songs to match the vibe we wanted. He helped coordinate things with the various vendors also. Everyone loved the event and conversations afterward from friends was that the energy and music were amazing from beginning to end. DJ Marc was phenomenal and cannot recommend him enough. Talk with him now and know it is one less thing you have to worry about.

Finally getting around to writing a review on this amazing DJ. DJ Jake was an absolute pleasure to work with from our very first connversation. He was incredibly professional and really knows how to read a room. While every wedding has its down moments on the floor, DJ Jake kept people on the floor almost non stop for almost 4 hours. He did a fantastic job of balancing the wide range of music we requested and ensured that our guests were dancing and having a great time. Jake also went above and beyond for us by traveling all the way to South Carolina (it was a destination wedding) and meeting with us several times prior to the wedding to make sure our timeline, song choices, and details were perfect. We have gotten so much great feedback on Jake from our guests, and we would highly recommend him for any wedding or event!

Jake Sherman was the best choice we couldve made as a DJ for our wedding. Great to work with and reads the room perfectly - guests were complimenting his playlist all night!

After reading the reviews for DJ Marc Wilner we knew we had to book him for our November 11th wedding. About a month before he went out of his way to meet with us to go over the flow for the night. He helped us plan the whole night. The most important thing for us was that everyone have a great time and be on the dance floor as much as possible.From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception, Marc made sure nothing was overlooked. We provided him with music for the cocktail hour and a must play/do not play list for the reception. He also provided the music for the ceremony.

I cannot tell you how perfect the night was! Everyone was on the dance floor from the minute the reception started .We got so many complements on how great our DJ was! He was able to play the majority of our must play list and kept the party going the whole night. If you are looking for the best, look no further than DJ Marc Wilner :-)
