Washington Talent has an amazing group of people working for them. They are extremely responsive, helpful and willing to do whatever it is you'd like for your event. The band Onyx was absolutely incredible and totally made the night. They had everyone, and I mean everyone (even people we didn't think would get up from their seats) dancing, the entire night. Everyone was so pumped up and ready to party because of how interactive they were and because of their high energy. I totally, 100% recommend Washington Talent and Onyx to anyone planning a wedding or an event. Some of my friends have already gotten in contact with them about their upcoming weddings. I can't wait to hear/see them again. They were incredible!

I worked with Marc from Washington Talent for DJ services. He is really good, professional and flexible! We had all kind of different music selections for the reception and dance, including Chinese, Persion and Americas music. Marc did a great job blending everything in based on the emotions and sequences of the evening, and all my guests had a good time dancing!

My husband and I cannot give enough praise to our band, Spectrum, for the EXPERIENCE, not just music, that they brought to our wedding. They were absolutely wonderful, and our guests cannot stop raving about them. From the night we went to a band showcase, we knew that we had to have them at our wedding, and we are so happy that we decided to make live music a priority at our reception. They invited my brother up to play the bongos, and passed around a tambourine for our guests to beat to the music. They were interactive and SO much fun. We think they really made our wedding fantastic, from MC'ing our event to playing a specially-requested last dance. We also really enjoyed having Ben from Spectrum play the music at our ceremony...it was just lovely. Thanks to Chuck from Washington Talent, and all of the talented musicians and vocalists from Spectrum...you all are truly amazing and helped to make our wedding the best day of our lives!

We hired Onyx from Washington Talent for our wedding day. They were absolutely fabulous! Still almost a month later.. everyone is RAVING about how fabulous they were! They made sure to involve everyone there in the party and got everyone on the dance floor. The energy displayed by each band member was overwhelming!! They played the songs we requested -- but also added some of their own choices based on the crowd and every song was done perfectly. I would say the only issue was I wish there was more room on the dance floor since everyone wanted to be up and dancing the whole time. We took dance lessons for our wedding and sent Onyx the song a month before our wedding and they played it perfectly! They did everything they could to make it perfect-- from making sure they knew our personalities to make sure they were pronouncing all of our parents and friends names correctly.. to suggesting a flow of the day that would work the best.
We know Onyx does weddings all the time, but on our day, we felt that Onyx practiced all year just for our wedding-- thats how special they made it for us!

The music was amazing. Brian Violett was wonderful, he knew exactly what to play to keep everyone dancing. There was always someone on the dance floor. He did a great mix of music, and was a great MC.

We used Millennium for our wedding band. For our booking, we dealt with John Hall, who is both the director of the band and one of the Washington Talent agents. He was awesome. Super helpful all the way, from helping us develop a timeline for the evening to suggesting good ceremony songs. The band was absolutely phenomenal. So high energy and the music sounded great. They learned several songs for us and were very accommodating of all of our requests. Everyone kept coming up to us all night and telling us how amazing the band was. They were great at "MCing" and made sure that everything was ready before each "event" (we have been to weddings where the father was in the bathroom when they announced the father daughter dance!) We also used 2 of the members of the band for our ceremony musicians, which worked out great. They absolutely made our wedding. Thank you Millennium!

After auditioning a handful of talented and wonderful bands through Washington Talent, we chose Black Tie as the band for our July 18th wedding. First off, the service and responsiveness from Washington Talent was superb. They were so easy to work with, and it was such a relief to be able to hear and meet the bands before having to pick one. We are SO glad we went with Black Tie. Strickland, the band leader, and the rest of the band are amazing. From my first meeting with Strickland until my wedding day, he was available to me and accomodating. He went above and beyond to help make sure my wedding reception ran smoothly (and it did run perfectly with his direction). The music was to die for, every guest was on the dance floor from the first song through the last. We are still getting compliments on the music, and many people have told us it was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. I must agree. They were so much fun, and the perfect music choice for our wedding. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high energy, talented, and fun band.

Wow! I am so happy we chose Millennium as the band for our wedding! They were absolutely fantastic! Our guests are still talking about them and telling us they were the best wedding band they have ever heard! Our New York guests even asked them if they would travel! Everyone was up dancing all night! Booking through John Hall, who is also the bandleader, was a stress free experience. We also contracted three of the band memebers to play during our ceremony. John coordinated all of the details with our Cantor ahead of time and it all turned out great! The band checked in several times during the evening to make sure everything was going ok. I also saw them touch base with the photographer and videographer several times, letting them know of upcoming shots they may want to capture. Three of the vocalists were out on the dance floor all night, even showing off some of their dance moves! My seven year old flower girl thuoght it was so cool when they had her go on stage to dance and sing to one of her favorite songs. Millennium really helped to make our wedding a blast!

Fabulous, amazing and awesome were the three main words my guest used to describe the band ONYX! They were incredible. My husband and I only had one goal and that was to have every one dancing. The band more than exceeded our expectations! The main singers were out on the floor engaging guests, singing, dancing! They did such an amazing job, it felt like they were friends celebrating with us. The female singer Ginny, constanlty was communicating with us to ensure things were on track and that we were happy. She also went out of her way to check in with the FOB to make sure he was happy with the way things were being run. A couple of my guests are wedding planners and said if they could fly the band in to host some of their events they would in a heart beat. ONYX provided more than wonderful entertainment, they kept issues away from my husband and I so that we were able to enjoy time on the dance floor with our guests. We are so thankful we had ONYX! 5 stars under rates how wonderful their service and entertainment was for our wedding! THANK YOU ONYX!!

I used Washington Talent to book Spectrum for my wedding. Spectrum was amazing! They had everyone dancing, they interacted with the crowd and they were so nice and professional. Their main goal was to make sure I was having a great time all evening. I have gotten calls from friends and family saying that they were so impressed with Spectrum and that they had such a great time dancing with them. My grandmother can't stop raving that one singer sang "you are so beautiful to me" to her at her table! The have a great mix of all types of music. And they did a great job learning our special requests for the father/bride, mother/son, and bride/groom dance. I also got a lot of comments from people who had small children at the wedding. They said Spectrum was so great with the kids and they couldn't believe how much they were interacting with them. I would recommend Spectrum to anyone! They also did a wonderful job ensuring that the entire night ran smoothly. Book Spectrum - they are great!

Onyx just played our wedding and they were fantastic!! The band kept the party going, kept the guests on the dancefloor for the entire time and made our a wedding a FUN party which is exactly what we wanted. Working with Onyx, made everything run smoothly. Chuck, David, Ginny- the whole team is amazing! Guests from in town and out of town were raving all night long about how great the band sounded!! The wedding would not have been the same without Onyx!!!

We contracted with Washington Talent --through Chuck-- for ceremony music, extra strings , the band, Onyx and specialty lighting for the reception rooms. We found this company to professional and very easy to work with. Chuck was available by phone and e-mail and very knowledgeable about his products.
Onyx--along with the extra strings and ceremony music --was amazing. Their selection of music was perfect for our crowd--the guests never left the dance floor. They even learned a new song for the father/daughter dance. They were a great asset to our party. I would use them again and recommend them to our friends.
Our lighting specialists were creative and clever. They came to set up the day before to assure that the mood was exactly what we wanted. They developed a special design to display on the wall and dance floor that wowed our guests.
It was a pleasure to deal with this vendor

We used the band BLACK TIE for our reception and they were AMAZING! If you want a band who will totally work the crowd and have you dancing ALL NIGHT LONG, this is the band to do it! Their leader is Strickland who plays the guitar and then they have 3 singers who have a great song list to choose from. Every person after our wedding came up to us to say how much they LOVED our band! They played exactly what I wanted which was 80's and today POP, I asked for minimal slow songs (so we could continue the crazy dancing!) and they also sang some oldies and goodies too. If I have ANY other parties which would require a band, I would Definitely use them again. My only negative response was responsiveness, it was tough at times to get a hold of Strickland (emailing him is easier).

The band Fancy Pants was FANTASTIC! They really got the crowd moving and dancing. Everyone at the wedding loved the band. However, my salesman did not pass along important information to the band regarding the wedding. Luckily, the band leader called to confirm everything.

For my wedding this past Saturday, I used Millennium band-- featuring John Hall, Iggy and Travis Tucker.
They were AMAZING. Just awesome-- way, way, way beyond my expectations. I have already received so many e-mails from friends stating this was the best wedding band they have ever heard. Our crowd was dancing until well past midnight and everyone, including my parents and grandparents, was a sweaty dancing mess by the end of the night!!!
They played beautiful, soft music during dinner and checked in a few times on volume. They also checked name pronunciation so that every bit of Emceeing was flawless. They checked in many times before the wedding to get all the details right for which songs to be played when and which off of their songlist to never play-- they made no errors!! Every song was beautiful. They even accommodated playing my husband's and my college fight song!
I found them very easy to work with-- especially Shana in the office. They also worked seamlessly with my wedding planner.
There are a LOT of cheezy wedding bands out there... I know, I watched all their DVDs. There are many, many bands you can go horribly wrong with--- this is NOT one of them. They are awesome, I would and will STRONGLY recommend them to anyone!!
