  Where do i start, as most brides on their wedding day you may feel nervous, overwhelmed and feel like there are way too many things to do in such little time the day of. Well I had Jack and of course his Wife Julie (my Photographer). Jack kept up with us all day literally from 10 am to 10 pm. I had preplanned some photo poses that i wanted to capture and had a packet ready for them the day of, they captured our day in a way of complete comfort. I was almost always 30 minutes behind schedule but they didn't rush me or make me feel uncomfortable in any way. They kept us on track and remembered every detail we wanted to capture. They made it fun, and enjoyable. Crazy enough we were able to relax, EAT, dance and party the night away with them by our side. I cannot say enough about Jack Foskett Vortex Cinema and of course his wife Julie Foskett. I am so excited to relive the day through the video and pictures.

  I cannot say enough about Jack Foskett and his team of shooters! My husband and I spent our engagement long distance so our engagement session was one of only a few weekends we had together. Jack made it so much fun and we truly enjoyed getting to spend that precious time with him capturing our joy together. Every moment of our wedding day was captured thanks to Jack's dedication! From me getting ready in my childhood home to Jayson playing video games with his groomsmen to dancing all night with our guests to our final kiss with the Mill Ave bridge aglow in the background. Jack is a fly on the wall and will capture moments you forget even happened but are overjoyed when you can replay them afterwards! Photography and videography are the only items you'll truly have to remember your wedding once the confetti falls and the guests all go home; invest in your day and hire this true artist!

  We have nothing but amazing things to say Jack and his wife Julie (she did our photos)!! They are the sweetest, nicest, creative people! They first photographed our actual proposal, then our engagement photos, then the wedding. We have the most beautiful videos ever! Also they jumped in and helped when the decorating needed done and with a couple last minute details that I was trying to finish! I can not imagine having had anyone be there to help us celebrate our big day! we originally debated doing a video and last minute decided to add it in and I'm so so so glad we did. It's beautiful and will be a treasured memory for the rest of our lives! Anything that we need video for in the future we will go to jack and no one else! Thank you for being so wonderful and for helping make our day the best day ever!

  We have only seen tidbits from our Cabo wedding and that was only one week ago!! My friends and family that couldn't attend were able to see some amazing shots on Facebook thanks to Jack and Julie.
  
  On to service, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would. They were referred by our wedding planner so she had the most contact with them which we were totally fine with. When we met them for the first time (3 days before the wedding due to my own schedule), it was like they were old friends of the family. Because I'm not the most organized bride, I never provided them with a shot list yet they knew exactly what/who to shoot. Since my wedding (8 days ago) I've been thinking of all the things I can hire them for just so we could all hang out again!! Thank you so much!!
  
  I plan to come back in a few months when I get the pictures to give a further review, but with what I have already seen, I expect I will love them even more!!!

  AMAZING! Jack, the owner, was so easy to communicate with through emails, and always helpful with any questions we had. On the wedding day, we could not have asked for a more amazing experience. I was a little worried that with 2 videographers, and 2 photographers the wedding would feel somewhat like a 'production' with people following us around, and I wouldn't be able to focus on all the special moments, but it was the opposite. Jack and his team were great with capturing everything we wanted, while not being the slightest bit intrusive. They were polite in asking us to do things, but still made sure we were having a good time and focusing on each other. Sometimes I forgot they were even there, but when I would look to make sure they were recording things, they were always there! Our friends and family had nothing but great things to say about how impressed they were with them. Throughout the day they would show us little 'sneak peeks' on their cameras and it was all amazing. If you're going to go with Vortex, I highly recommend his wife Julie with Foskett Creative for your photographer. They worked so well around each other, and it made everything so much easier (not to mention she does a great job). The day after our wedding, Jack posted some 'stills' from his footage, and a video teaser. They were all nothing short of perfect. I'm beyond blown away with my experience with them, as well as the quality of everything I've seen. Vortex may seem a little pricey but its so worth it. If you're going to have a beautiful wedding, and celebrate it with the ones you love, you definitely want someone there to capture all the amazing moments and fun times.Recommend them 100%! :)

  Jack and his team were an invaluable part of my wedding day.
  
  The team took so much care to capture every important detail of the entire wedding day... They arrived before we started getting ready, and didn't leave until the very end of the reception. Jack and his wife made sure to be there for all the moments my husband and I deemed important, but they also had so many great ideas of their own.
  
  They are very friendly, attentive, accommodating, and thorough. The value they provide for their product is superb!

  What can we say about Jack and his team at Vortex Cinema. We had the best experience imaginable from what we deemed as a optional service for our wedding. We couldn’t have been more wrong as Jack made us a believers that a wedding film was as important if not more important to our pictures. Jack sat us down from the beginning letting us know what we could expect from the moment we met him during a consultation. There was no pressure as we had with others he truly listened to what we had to say and when we talked about others that we met with and the bad experience we had already witnessed he was fast to put us at ease telling us not everyone is a good fit and only we could determine that. He went through step by step the creation of his films with us and we absolutely fell in love with his films but more importantly we connected with him and his refreshing sense of integrity. We met with Jack several times before our wedding and he even showed up to our engagement session and rehearsal dinner with camera in hand filming both to make sure as he called it he had “enough content to make a compelling film”. The day of the Wedding he was a lifesaver as not only did he do what he does best but he was eager to jump in and help wherever needed all the way down to pulling out a thread and needle out to help stitch up one of my bridesmaids dresses that had a small tear. After the Ceremony while we were doing portraits he had his assistant run to cocktail hour and grab us drinks and hors d’oeuvre’s who does that? Well Jack did.. I can’t stress enough the professionalism Vortex Cinema portrayed and found them worth more to our day than the investment made. I would in a heartbeat recommend Jack and Vortex Cinema if you are looking for a great film and someone who will be an asset to your day.

  My wife and I decided to do a wedding video a few months before the wedding and it was the best decision we'd made. Jack is one of the most professional people I've met, we had a couple different sit-downs before the wedding and went over everything in detail. Watching him and his crew work that day was a treat. You'd think you're on the set of a big movie because of all the gear and the way they're communicating with each other is just all very professional.
  My wife and I highly recommend hiring Jack, you won't be sorry you did.

  We found Jack and Vortex Cinema when we hired his wife, Julie Foskett, Foskett Creative, as our wedding photographer. Jack provided video coverage for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. He works with a team of 2 other videographers and then they edit the video to have a cinematic feel – splicing together 3 different viewpoints of the same moment to capture the best angle. They like to “tell a story” of each relationship and wedding. Jack and Julie communicate very well while they are each capturing their footage, they wear headsets so they can easily chat over long distances when one of them is in the other's shot. Also, they know how to help each other get the best image and work together well for stress free coordination as opposed to possibly hiring separate people for photo and video who may feel like they are competing. We can't wait to receive our complete video after seeing a sneak peak of some of his footage just days after the wedding!

  We signed a contract with Jack about a year in advance. Another WW user had recommended him to us since he was so affordable. We loved what we saw, paid him in full at the time we met, then didn't hear anything until the month of the wedding. He was very professional in person, but his communication skills are lacking. Any time we would email him we would never get a confirmation response. Eventually he would let us know that yes... He had recieved the email. When it came time to sending us the video, we were told (almost 2 weeks after we should have recieved our video) that he was in an accident. Before finding this out from his wife, I had called and emailed every email I could find until I reached his wife on her photography company email address. She finally told us about the accident and stated this, "I really wish I knew how to get on his computer and at least get you the link but he would kill me for even touching his stuff lol. This has taught us that more redundancy is definitely needed as we never foresaw anything like this happening and i'm just not sure on what to do when it comes to his projects." So please be aware that if you use Vortex Cinema, and something should happen to Jack, there is no one else to take over. Eventually she found out that everything was set and ready to be mailed to us and sent us the link to our trailer. If I was going to do this again, I would have chosen the more expensive and established videographer that was $1,000 more. I honestly wouldn't recommended Vortex Cinema after the lack of communication from the time we paid and signed the contract, to today.... 6 months later when we finally recieved our products.
