My husband and I are very disappointed with the services we received for our wedding last May. After reading the reviews and meeting with Jorge and his wife, we expected creativity, variety in the photographs and their ability to capture the moments we specifically requested. We were misled to believe that we would be satisfied with their services, however, on the day of the wedding, there was very limited poses for formal pictures, not to mention they were all done in the same location, when the grounds for our ceremony and reception were beautiful and full of possibilities. Once we viewed the pictures we were so disappointed to see that the focus of our pictures were the gigantic tress in the background and all photos needed to be cropped before printed. The one moment we had requested a photo of (my stepson escorting me down the isle) was not captured, you would think a photographer would have been placed in the isle to snap a picture of this VERY important moment, that we specifically requested. The printed photographs are on cheap home printer paper and are not professional looking, and the memory book that is part of the package was the basic edition created on shutterfly. Obviously they are inexpensive due to their unprofessional and non-creative abilities as photographers. I would never recommend Jorge to anyone. Sad thing is, we were the easiest couple to please, and it was commented by our wedding planner, DJ and management at the facilities at how easy we were to work with and how prepared we were, so there were no surprises for Jorge about what we wanted.

I am not surprised with this review coming from Mrs. Mavis. Since I started taking pictures she seemed to be very angry and began to criticize everything I did.
The entire wedding party agreed to take photos under the shade of those trees, because of the heat and humidity outside, plus they had two young children and the younger one was crying a lot and very restless.
Specifically requested photos, bride with her stepson and couple with bride’s stepson, were taken. There were nine (9) photos of bride’s stepson escorting the bride down the isle, and five (5) more of all three.
The following formal photos, but not limited to, were taken before the reception: Portraits of the couple, family and bridal party; groom’s men carrying the groom and walking at the little bridge as well as groom’s men carrying the bride; bridal party in couples with different poses; bride’s maids pretending arranging bride’s dress; bride’s maids interacting with the bride; bride’s maids showing their flowers while celebrating the great event; bride’s maids and the bride posing at the little bridge (front and back). It is important to highlight that a crucial piece to obtain an excellent product with portraits is people’s positive attitude and their desire to cooperate.
I never received a complaint from Mrs. Mavis about the prints, even though they were sent on August 4, 2010 and her review is dated November 17, 2010, 90 days after she received the prints. Our printer is a professional Epson Stylus R1800 and Epson professional paper is used to print photographs. During our meeting whit Mrs. Mavis , she was able to see the book included in the package she selected, and was told she can upgrade the book to a GraphiStudio photo book which comes with personalized design, but she select the one offered in the package due to her budget .
What does make a great picture? All my customers have expressed different points of view regarding the quality of my photographs. Some have referred to the fact of capturing the couple and people’s feelings, spontaneity, environment such as nature, etc. The place to take the photographs before reception was chosen due to the hot weather and the trees offered great shade.
687 taken photographs reflect every moment lived during the wedding: Groom and bridal party coming to the ceremony as well as guests. Bride and her stepson walking to the groom, ceremony steps, couple lighting the candles, moms lighting the candles, the kiss, the little girl carrying her basket, the ring-bearer, guests who attended the ceremony, congrats after the ceremony, portraits before the ceremony, couple and bridal party coming into the reception, congrats during the reception, toast, dancing, cake cutting, garter removal, candid photographs, etc.
