Stunning Flowers and Seamless Service with Addie!

Working with Addie for my wedding flowers was such a great experience! Meeting her in person helped me really understand my options, and she’s incredibly knowledgeable. I wanted a simple, understated look with burgundy and blush tones, and she absolutely nailed it with her flower choices. Addie was also great about working within my budget to maximize what I could get. She’s very personable, friendly, and was responsive throughout the entire process. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Highly recommend!

Great florals and staff!

Addie and her staff did an excellent job with the florals for our recent anniversary party! She really helped bring my vision of incorporating tropical greens and whites to life. Additionally, Addie was very communicative and responsive to our several last minutes adjustments and changes! Highly recommend Verbena Floral Design!

We hired team Verbena for our wedding at the South Congress Hotel and they absolutely knocked it our of the park. The color scheme, flower type, and ceiling installation were my exact vision! I was so beyond impressed with their work and they were wonderful throughout the process (which was entirely virtual because I live 1,500 miles away- and everything was still seamless!). I cannot recommend them enough.

Exquisite In Every Way!

Addie has a beautiful touch! We are so happy we went with Verbena Floral for our big day! Addie was so good at creating gorgeous arrangements and designs based on our preferences and offered awesome suggestions for alternatives! She was so creative at coming up with ways we can make things in our vision work and keep us within the constraints of our budget. Lilac bridesmaids bouquets!!! IT WAS SO PRETTY! The perfect bouquet for my wedding

We had a bit of a hard time nailing down our wedding date (mostly due to COVID) and plans fluctuated because of it and Addie was very patient and kind with us the whole way through. She did all of our bouquets and boutonnieres and they were perfect! She really translated our vision into the perfect arrangements and if anyone is looking for the perfect flowers for their wedding, they should quickly contact Addie!

Beautiful flowers for Barr Mansion Wedding

Perfect Wedding Florist Experience

Addie and the floral team at Verbena literally made all my wedding floral dreams come true! First off Addie was so sweet, pleasant, and easy to work with throughout the entire experience. She totally captured our floral vision and exceeded every expectation. At the last minute, I decided to do something kind of crazy and unique with our centerpieces, and Addie was so flexible and onboard without missing a step. Verbena is amazing!

At the recommendation of our wedding planner, Alicia Collins, we interviewed Verbena along with several other florists. Addie was the only florist who actually seemed to listen to what we envisioned and worked from there, giving us recommendations and suggestions to carry out our vision. She had no problem telling us if something would not work and proposing alternatives, but we never felt like she was just going to do what she always did or had done previously with another client. She never made us uncomfortable when we expressed limitations with our budget. She transitioned us through three different wedding plans and two seasons due to pandemic postponements without missing a beat. With the final smaller home wedding just before Christmas, she used bold colors that were not “Christmas-y” but that we could keep up through the holiday. She created a garden on the mantle above the fireplace that was absolutely magical and the backdrop for the ceremony – so beyond our expectations. She made us feel like friends throughout, not just clients. Highly recommend Verbena and Addie.

A Dusty Blue Dream

Addie and her team were a dream. My wedding florals looked beautiful! Addie was very patient and thorough with me since the first consultation. Fabulous Experience

I got flowers for my wedding from Verbena Floral Design, and they turned out beautiful! I got to coordinate with Addie, and she was very accommodating to my budget, style, and schedule. Love my bouquet!

I had a very last minute decided that I want to order a bouquet for my wedding. Then I found Verbena Floral two days before the wedding day. And they made it happed! They were able to finish the bouquet, and it turns out perfect!! even prettier than I expact. I don't have much budget at the time, so they were able to design with some of the similar flowers and also able to combine some of my favorite flowers. I can't believe how beautiful it turns out at that price. After the wedding, I still can't stop looking at it. And those flowers become my new favorite flowers now!

Best Floral Design Team Ever

Addie at Verbena Floral Design was absolutely amazing! She made sure that every aspect of the floral design at the wedding ceremony and reception were even better than we dreamed they would be. The bouquets and centerpieces were gorgeous, and fit in perfectly with our outdoor garden wedding. Verbena even made perfect decisions on the details, like filling the outdoor fountain with lavender roses that perfectly matched our color scheme. They also were beyond accommodating when I messaged them asking to fill a bunch of glass terrariums with succulents for our favors. As a bride that knew nothing about flowers, I was so nervous about figuring out the floral design for our wedding. But Addie and the whole Verbena team really did a fabulous job answering any question I had and creating a breath-taking wedding!

Best Decision I Made!

Addie at Verbena Floral was absolutely amazing! She listened to everything I had to say, made helpful suggestions and always responded in a timely manor. On the day of the event, she was on time and extremely fast in setting everything up. Everyone at the wedding raved about the flowers and how amazing they looked. I would recommend her to anyone. Not only did the flowers look great, but she is provides fair pricing in a business that can often seem to overcharge. She is kind, thoughtful, professional, and extremely good at what she does, I could not have asked for a better florist for our wedding and I am so thankful that I found her.

Verbena did such an amazing job for our wedding. Addie was so easy to work with. We went into her shop a few months before the wedding then had a phone call with her a few weeks before. LuAnn and Verbena were absolutely OUTSTANDING. I wish I could afford to have Verbena make me flower arrangements for every day of my life. Our initial meeting with LuAnn was super easy and she just knew what we wanted. The process was so easy and seamless. And then the day of, omg, the flowers and rentals were absolutely gorgeous- words CANNOT describe how much I loved them. LuAnn also was very aware of making sure we were happy with everything the day of. They were just incredible. We received so many compliments on everything from the boutineers to the table arrangements to the archway flowers where we got married. I love Verbena so much.

Go with Verbena and let them blow you away with their professionalism, attention to detail, flower knowledge, and budget-conscious approach. Flowers were the item of our wedding that I was most concerned with and was most important to me because we wanted our wedding to be bright and colorful to fit our fiesta theme.

A friend from work recommended Verbena for our wedding flowers and I am SO GLAD she did! From the minute I hit the Contact Us form, I was super impressed with every interaction with Verbena. First off, before I even met with LuAnn for a consultation, she asked me key questions about the look/feel of the wedding so we could maximize our time on the call. Once we connected in the consultation, she put me at ease right away by complimenting the venue we chose (Hummingbird House), the person who recommended us, and the style we were looking at for the wedding. She was wonderful about asking my budget right away, listening to my key items I wanted included in everything, and suggesting where I hadn’t even thought of little details, like ribbons holding the flowers together.

Once we received the quote, I could start to see everything come to life AND it was under our budget. I had a couple questions from the time we submitted a deposit up until the wedding and LuAnn was super responsive every time. She even accommodated for a last minute request I had for flowers in my hair (the week of the wedding) and got together small leftover spray roses that I received a ton of compliments on.

Cue our wedding day, where all the flowers, bouquets and centerpieces, absolutely blew me away. The flowers they arranged were even better than the inspiration pictures I shared. I loved my bouquet so much that I didn’t want to leave it and brought it with me to our hotel that evening just so I could keep looking at them.

The short of it: definitely trust them with your flowers and you won’t be disappointed!

Words can not describe how perfect and beautiful the flowers were at my wedding! LuAnn and her team knocked it out of the park. I had a destination wedding in Austin, TX and I had to plan it all from overseas. That being said, LuAnn was beyond accessible, and accommodating. She really worked with me to make my floral dreams come true. Let me just tell you that my flowers were perfect, they were show stoppers. I received so many compliments from my guests, her flowers really tied my whole wedding vision together. Also, one thing that I really appreciated is that LuAnn was able to donate my flowers to a local hospital after the wedding, which allowed more than just our guests to enjoy their beauty. She was also able to get me a particularly hard to get South African flower in its off season at a great cost, and they were absoluelty stunning! I had the best experience working with Verbena Floral Design and I would recommend them to anyone getting married in the Austin area. Found Verbena here on wedding wire and couldn't be more pleased. She did an AMAZING job on my flowers. I sent her the photo of the bouquet I wanted and couldn't believe the day of my wedding that it was literally EXACTLY how I pictured it being. LuAnn and her team far exceeded our expectations for our wedding flowers. She really made an effort to honor our budget for flowers, and still came up with something that looked beautiful. We rented a wooden arch as a backdrop to our ceremony, and the floral arrangement that LuAnn came up with was perfect. The same goes for centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres. In addition to lovely flowers, LuAnn was very pleasant to work with, especially since we did not have a clear idea of what we wanted. She helped us come up with something that we really loved. We highly recommend Verbena.

LuAnn was so wonderful to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process. My husband and I live in Dallas and weren't originally able to make it in person for a consultation. LuAnn and I spoke on the phone and then I was able to meet with her in person a few months before the wedding. We looked over photos together of various weddings and she was able to take my scattered thoughts and turn them into the most beautiful wedding I could have ever imagined. The bridal party bouquets were stunning and LuAnn worked within our budget to create the most beautiful centerpieces.

On the day of our wedding we had to quickly change directions and move our ceremony inside because of incoming thunderstorms. She worked with the other vendors and quickly redesigned our ceremony flowers. Everything looked so amazing and despite the change in plans, our pictures turned out beautifully because of her floral designs.

I loved working with LuAnn and am so thankful I found her! You can tell that she loves what she does and is passionate about helping brides have the wedding of their dreams.

Verbena does a beautiful job! I came to the shop one week before my wedding, after another florist was unable to do the job at the last minute, and Verbena immediately picked up my vision and made it happen. Amazing! LuAnn and everyone in the shop is a pleasure to work with. It was fun to have her drop the flowers off with us on my wedding day - she was so nice and gave us instructions on how to carry them throughout the day. And all of this great service and product came for a reasonable price, in central Austin. Incredible! I highly recommend Verbena for any floral needs.

It was a delight working with Verbena Floral Design for our wedding day! My now wife, Janel, and I were planning a wedding in Austin for October 2016 living in Houston, and we visited Austin in March 2016 to visit 7 potential floral vendors. Throughout our day, my wife and I had no idea what we were doing, what flowers we liked, what types of flowers even existed on our planet, what season flowers were best shipped, etc. etc. etc. We were just having fun being completely lost together, and at the same time had no way knowing how to decide on our vendor. It was our very last stop at Verbena that sealed the deal when we met LuAnn. We were seated at a table decorated solely with previous couples’ Thank You cards, and I remember being a useless groom reading each individual one while my bride was answering a questionnaire with LuAnn during our consultation. For me, reading how great LuAnn and her team executed each couple’s wedding day and the appreciation they had for Verbena really made me feel like they cared about making the wedding day perfect for each individual couple. It was this personal touch that made our final decision easy. LuAnn and her team made us feel like royalty, like they were just focusing on our individual needs for our wedding, and really cared about making our wedding beautiful beyond our expectations. It felt like it wasn’t business for them but rather a true passion to make this one day perfect for us. I can’t stress how easy it was working with them. Communication was superb since we were planning a wedding in a different city, and LuAnn really planned EVERY individual floral detail and décor perfectly within our budget. I cannot express how thankful we are for Verbena for transforming our venue (Pavilion at Omni Barton Creek) into a dreamlike fairytale. It was perfect. LuAnn and Cindy at Verbena are seriously rock stars! As an out-of-state bride, I knew I had to pick a solid vendor with experience and professionalism. Verbena was everything and MORE! We had 2-3 phone conversations and went back and forth via email often. Very quick to respond and flexible with any floral design changes. I also felt from my own experience (and recommendations from other friends/vendors) that they were the best bang for my buck. LuAnn was always honest regarding pricing and willing to work with my budget. Also important to mention is that I am a very laid-back person and have little knowledge regarding anything floral related. I felt confident in trusting Verbena to make magical designs and I was NOT disappointed. From our ceremony set-up to all the bouquets, everything was perfect! LuAnn and her team were hands down my favorite vendors to work with from start to finish during the wedding planning process. She took my not-so-specific bouquet and centerpiece ideas and transformed them into gorgeous arrangements. Verbena was familiar with our wedding venues (St. Austin Church and The Fed) and knew what would work well with our color schemes in the spaces. LuAnn even called the church coordinator personally to follow up on what size vases the church already had available and confirm delivery times directly with St. Austin.

The team at Verbena Floral Design were phenomenal partners. I always knew that selecting flowers were going to be one of my favorite parts of the wedding planning process, and as a result, I knew that finding the right florist was going to be one of my more important decisions. Having been to plenty of weddings leading up to my own, I had already created a short list of shops that I knew I wanted to investigate further. But I have to admit, as soon as I walked into Verbena’s lovely shop I knew that they were the florist for me. LuAnn and Cindy were not only welcoming but incredibly collaborative and supportive. As soon as my mom and I had our first meeting with them, we felt as though we had been friends with them for years. They intently listened to what I envisioned for my wedding day and took detailed notes. They also provided photos from previous events they had designed and offered many useful suggestions based on their own experiences. It took them no time at all to turn around a proposal that was not only comprehensive but fairly priced. In addition, they were respectful of our budget throughout the entire process, and never seemed burdened or annoyed by scope changes. Fast forward to wedding day – team Verbena was simply flawless. I cried happy tears when they brought me my gorgeous bridal bouquet, where they had incorporated a very special tribute to a cousin who had recently passed away. Every flower arrangement, bridesmaid’s bouquet, and decorative detail was pure perfection. I truly cannot thank them enough or give them a higher recommendation. I am sooo happy to have worked with Verbena for my wedding. LuAnn and her team created a perfect and gorgeous wedding. I loved everything about my bouquet and the centerpieces!!! They brought my vision to life even though I couldn't find photos online to say, "This is exactly what I wanted." I was nervous about how everything would turn out, but they far exceeded my expectations.

LuAnn is so patient and responsive. During the months leading up to the wedding, I changed my mind a lot and came up with different ideas. She was always happy to accommodate and always quick to get back to me via email or phone. She is incredibly talented and creative, but most of all she truly listens. She never pushed me toward more expensive options and did her very best to stay within my budget. I couldn't be any happier with the way things turned out. LuAnn was an integral part of the planning process for me and I teared up a little when I said goodbye to her on the wedding day because I was so grateful to her and had such a good time working with her. Relationships with your vendors will contribute so much to your overall experience. I highly recommend her!

Because our wedding was so small (<50 guests), I only needed a bridal bouquet, a few corsages and boutonnieres, and 7 single flowers for centerpieces. I found that vendors typically want to up sell their customers on bigger packages, but LuAnn and her staff at Verbena followed up on my wishes with no complaint. This was especially nice since I waited until about two months out to book flowers. LuAnn was so quick to respond to emails and really helped realize the look I wanted. My flowers were ready for pick-up a little ahead of time, and this lovely group of ladies helped take everything out to my car, congratulating me all the while. The flowers were fresh and beautiful, and were complimented by many of my guests. Excellent flowers for a reasonable price.

I went with Verbena because they had done a friend's wedding where I loved the flowers, and they were reasonably priced. The flowers at our wedding were everything I could have dreamed of and more. They were able to turn my vision into reality for our arch and centerpieces. Cindy was great to work with and even one time when she was out, I got a fast response from LuAnn letting me know she was out but that she would pass along the message. Highly recommend them!!!

Verbena Floral Design was honestly my FAVORITE vendor of everyone that I worked with for my wedding!! LuAnn is the absolute sweetest and most talented florist. During the planning process she was phenomenal--I'm not very knowledgeable about different types of flowers but I would tell her that I wanted fluffy flowers or bright flowers and she would give me the names of flowers fitting my description that would be in season and would be durable enough to last throughout the day. Her attention to detail and quick communication made the whole planning process so easy. Vibrant purple orchids, roses, hydrangeas, and peonies were some of the beautiful flowers she included in her work. All of my bouquets and boutonnieres, pew arrangements, altar decor, and reception centerpieces were just breathtakingly beautiful. I got more compliments on my flowers than any other aspect of the wedding. Could not be happier with the end result!

Luann and her team are AMAZING! They completely understood the vision we were going for and made it simple, yet elegant. I absolutely loved working with LuAnn! She listened to everything I wanted and offered her own suggestions. She provided mock centerpieces to choose from when I couldn't decide. She even called me to let me know when certain flowers were not up to par and asked if she could replace them. She set everything up at my wedding exactly as I wanted. It looked amazing! I met and corresponded with LuAnn at Verbena, and she was exceptional to work with. My fiance and I live in New York, and I was only able to personally come into the shop once before my actual wedding; Verbena was able to translate my images, concept, colors, and textures into a unique and beautiful array of flowers (combining succulents with beautiful cranberry and mango flowers and berries). Even more appreciated, LuAnn was very responsive with any questions or concerns that I had, via phone and email.

I only had time to meet with (3) florists when I visited Austin this Spring, but I'm extremely glad I ended up working with Verbena. Being far away, they put me at ease, which was almost priceless; can't say enough good things!

We had our wedding flowers done by Verbena Floral Design, and they were just perfect! The consultation made it easy considering I do not know much about specific flowers. I just had pictures of color ideas and flowers and they made it happen! Everything was super easy, and everyone loved the colors and setup of the flowers. We also rented lanterns which had real candles in them. I loved every detail and color! They listened to all my specific likes and dislikes and made a gorgeous wedding. Also, their pricing was very affordable for flowers considering I thought it would be much more for everything we discussed. Loved it all!

Verbena Floral provided absolutely gorgeous flowers for my daughter's wedding. We were so pleased with everything! The Pavilion at Omni Barton Creek looked fantastic. I was especially pleased the greenery, flowers and candles as a focal point on the mantel--behind the cake. Flowers on the cake were beautiful. The bridal bouquet and bridesmaids' bouquets were a perfect match for the dresses. Everything was just what we wanted.

LuAnn was an absolute delight to work with. She listened to us and provided exactly what we wanted. She worked with us to help us figure out what we did want! The floral team graciously accommodated our last minute requests.

We were pleased with every step of the process. First class all the way around.

I absolutely loved working with LuAnn. I had a general idea of what I wanted for our wedding and she took those ideas and made them beautiful! LuAnn and her team at Verbena were such a pleasure to work with. They offered creative (and beautiful) solutions to help us stay within and maximize our budget. At our venue, we had the ceremony and reception in the same room (with a cocktail hour/room flip in between). During the ceremony I was a bit preoccupied (understandably...), but I did notice the gorgeous floral arrangements at our altar. My groom and I had a sneak peek of the set up for the reception before our guests came back in, and I will never forget how gorgeous the room looked, and the flowers were a huge part of that. My bouquet was absolutely stunning and the bridesmaids' bouquets were exactly what I wanted, but somehow ended up even more beautiful than I pictured them to be.

I can't recommend Verbena highly enough. We also use Verbena for floral deliveries here in town (birthdays, special occasions, etc), and they have a lovely shop with cute gift-y items.

LuAnn at Verbena Floral Design is AMAZING! I recently got married at the Allan House and had Verbena design my florals for my wedding. I had searched around looking for the perfect florist when I found Verbena and decided to give them a call. Right away, I knew Verbena was for me! As LuAnn was the only florist who really asked me what I wanted out of my wedding. She really took the time to envision my style and researched it by looking through my wedding board on pinterest to get ideas. Verbena also has a chuppah available for rent, so it makes things easier when planning the florals for the chuppah. Overall, I thought LuAnn and Verbena did an amazing job! I could go on and on about how they exceed my expectations but call them for yourself to see how amazing they are when it comes to floral design! Verbena florals did all the arrangements for my recent wedding - my bouquet (and my mini "toss" bouquet), bridesmaids' bouquets, groom/ groomsmen/ FOB boutonnieres, my grandmother's corsage, and our centerpieces - and they all looked AMAZING!! I stumbled upon their floral shop almost on accident; I'd been told of a different florist a few miles away but had a less than desirable experience speaking with their staff, and decided to Yelp! "florist" in the nearby vicinity. I am so glad we did!

Immediately when we walked in, we felt welcomed and appreciated. And their store is just the cutest! I made an appointment to discuss what I was looking for and share some Pinterest photos of similar options. They promptly sent me a quote and timeline and we were all set.

I really put a lot of trust in them (which could have been a huge gamble, but I was confident in their abilities), and didn't even see my arrangements until I was at the church, in my gown, about to walk down the aisle. I was amazed by how beautiful and perfect everything was! Every single item was just what I wanted. There were subtle differences between my bouquet and the bouquets my bridesmaids carried, as well as between my husband's boutonniere and those of his groomsmen, but everything was wonderfully cohesive and look amazing in photographs!

Verbena Florals is an amazing company and if you're looking for wedding florals, look no further.

I love, love, love LuAnn and her team!! I've used her before and will use her again. She did the flowers for my 40th birthday celebration 3 years ago and I hired her again to do the flowers for my daughters wedding last month. Oh my goodness I cannot rave enough about LuAnn and Verbena Floral Design! LuAnn was about the 5th florist I had met with and by the time I went to meet with her I was pretty nervous (due to past meetings with possible florists). I knew the moment I walked in the door that Verbena was different. Their office space was cozy and beautiful and smelled like heaven! LuAnn was so warm and inviting and she really listened to what I was saying. I didn't know much about what I wanted, but with LuAnn's guidance we quickly came up with an amazing concept and flower choices. Her response time was awesome throughout the enitre planning process. Like most brides, I changed my mind a few times, but LuAnn just rolled with my choices and assured me Verbena would make it happen. The day of the wedding the flowers arrived on time and in perfect condition. They heldup throughout the whole day and my out of town bridesmaids were even able to take theirs homes and put them in a vase. I cannot say thank you enough to LuAnn and the Verbena team. Verbena was an absolute dream to work with for our recent wedding! We called them only two weeks before our event and they took care of everything in the most professional and responsive way imaginable. My husband and I went in with sort of disparate ideas of what we wanted and LuAnn was able to represent both of our requests in such a beautiful way - we just could not have been happier with the product and service we received. Plus, we received tons of compliments from our guests. I also just want to mention that the value of this service is amazing - every person we encountered at Verbena was enthusiastic and professional (I especially want to mention LuAnn and Cindy in this regard), and they were really flexible with us even though we had such a short timeframe and needed a Sunday morning delivery. They even made me an extra hair piece free of charge just because the blooms they received for our order were so plentiful - I ended up wearing both in my hair for the wedding and it was just perfect. I would hire Verbena again in a heartbeat - I might even add flowers to my next party just so that I can work with them again!

LuAnn and the entire Verbena Florals team performed better than I expected and set the tone for my 200 headcount wedding with the most magnificent flowers and decorations. My guests and I were in awe. Not only was I getting the best deal for my flowers (based on screening 5 other vendors in Austin), but the service and accountability was top-notch. LuAnn herself would meet with me multiple times and thoroughly explain the cost breakdown and provide sample images. Her demure, elegant aesthetic sense best matched my personality and what I envisioned. Her crew handled all setup and cleanup and even donated the flowers to the local children's hospital at my request. I have no regrets, and would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. No job is too small.

We HIGHLY recommend Verbena Floral. Initially, we decided to only have personal flowers done by a florist and emailed a couple while planning from Houston. Neither responded so our day-of coordinator set up a meeting with someone else, but she couldn't come in within our budget. We were strongly considering DIY at that point, but wanted to talk to one more florist first so went to Austin Flower Co. during a weekend visit to Austin to investigate prices for DIY and asked them for a florist recommendation. Verbena was their recommendation and is around the corner so we walked over to say hello and pick up some info. That 5-minute drop-in was our only in-person meeting.

LuAnn was happy to do just the small amount we wanted (bridal bouquet, 3 small bridesmaid bouquets, 2 mom's corsages, and 7 boutonnieres). Working with LuAnn was a breath of fresh air in the wedding planning process! She came in under our $500 budget for personal flowers and after just two phone calls and some email exchanges in which she patiently answered all of my questions, made great suggestions and was just generally fun to talk to, the flowers were beautiful and *exactly* what I had envisioned!

Verbena was the first place we looked for Wedding Floral and no other shop could compare or beat the wonderful experience! Other Floral design shops simply asked what we wanted and at Verbena, the staff worked with me to create a design that fit our style. Verbena took all the stress out of the process and were wonderful to work with. We had several changes to our budget and guest count and as the big day approached. Verbena was able to adjust easily. We couldn't have asked for a better vendor to work with! I would highly recommend Verbena for any special occasion.

Verbena is on top of their craft, and they do it in such a humbled and calming manner. They know what they are doing, and they do it well. I never felt like I was just another bride when I would meet with them. They care about you as a person...not just as a bride and/or groom.
I always left our conversations feeling more and more pumped up to get married.

As for the wedding day, I could not have dreamed or "pinned" of anything remotely close to what Verbena created. My bouquet....sigh...best bouquet I have seen out of all the wedding porn I have looked through.

If you need a florist, Verbena is a no-brainer. It's that simple.

WORKING WITH VERBENA WAS A DREAM!

My (new) husband and I started planning our October 19, 2013 wedding over a year in advance. We had consultations with Donna from Central Market and LuAnn from Verbena on the same day, and immediately knew Verbena was the way to go. We were attracted to LuAnn's creativity, organization, and simply the way she put us at ease.

We live in the Washington, DC area so planning a wedding from 1500 miles away can quickly become hectic. LuAnn and the Verbena team were brilliant with their communication skills and responded rapidly with every single one of my requests or questions--something invaluable when planning a destination wedding.

We loved how she never pushed her own agenda, always checked in regarding updates, and truly made our flowers the way we wanted. When it came to the day-of, flowers were delivered right on time, if not early and they were absolutely stunning. I wanted a "green" bouquet and she executed my vision perfectly. More than a week after our wedding and my bouquet is still looking fabulous in its vase!

If you're looking for true talent and an extremely organized team, go with Verbena!

The service here is excellent! I called Verbena when I was wedding planning and explained that I didn't have a huge budget for flowers. I wasn't expecting the gorgeous bouquets and other flowers that showed up on our wedding day. I literally was blown away with how amazing they looked. In addition to being very budget friendly, the service is unparalleled. It is so refreshing to have such a positive experience when trying to manage all of the chaos of wedding planning. We had a wonderful experience with LuAnn and Cindy at Verbena Floral Design! During the months of planning, they were so helpful and specific when working on finalizing our floral design. I LOVE flowers, but I am not the most knowledgeable person about flower names - I just know what I like and what I don't like. Cindy and LuAnn had such good instincts and knew exactly what I wanted! I always felt confident in them and that they understood my vision. They also were really great about working with my budget. Our floral budget probably on the smaller size for our guest count - It definitely wasn't huge. They never made me feel uncomfortable about this or that my floral dreams couldn't be a reality because of our budget (As some other florists made us feel from our first meetings). When I arrived at our venue on our wedding day - I was blown away! The flowers were GORGEOUS, and it truly felt magical. Beyond the amazing floral designs, these ladies are just so so NICE. My coordinator ended up being a big disappointment - Among several things, the steamer she brought for my wedding dress didn't work. After "working" on it for 10 minutes, she gave up and left us upstairs to figure it out ourselves! It was really stressful, and upsetting because it set back our time schedule - I wasn't able to do any of the planned pictures in my dress with my bridesmaids and family before the wedding. LuAnn found out about the steamer, called her husband, and he dropped off their personal steamer so I could steam my dress! (My dress flew with me from Los Angeles to TX, so it was definitely a bit crinkled). I just couldn't get over how nice of a gesture that was, as it wasn't anywhere close to her responsibility as a florist. I would recommend Verbena to any and everyone! Not only are they talented and creative, they are so easy to work with and so kind-hearted. Thank you LuAnn and Cindy!!

LuAnn & Verbana were amazing to work with. The flowers were beautiful and LuAnn really saw my vision and made it come to life. She really wanted me to be happy and when a certain flower in our order came up short, she immediately contacted me with possible options which turned our great! I am so glad we used Verbena for our wedding flowers.

LuAnn was absolutely amazing!! She was so sweet and so wonderful throughout the whole process! I had Verbena do all of the flowers for my wedding and they turned out more beautiful than I had envisioned!! The colors were absolutely perfect and I loved all of the flowers! LuAnn was so helpful throughout the design process and was able to help me stay within my budget. She helped me with ways to cut costs and still have beautiful flowers!! LuAnn was so sweet and thoughtful to take a picture of some of my flowers that had come in the week of my wedding and sent the picture to me as she wanted to make sure they were the correct color that I had envisioned. I had shown LuAnn several bouquets and flowers that I liked - including my cake flowers - and she was able to replicate even more gorgeous than I could have imagined! I was so so pleased with the customer service as well as the finished product! LuAnn was a joy to work with and if I ever need flowers in Austin I will definitely be using her shop!

After sifting through a handful of florists who wouldn't even talk to me for less than $2500, the ladies at Verbena were willing to work with my budget but still provided very high quality, beautiful, personalized floral arrangements for my wedding. I gave them a list of flowers I like and don't like, and I also pointed out examples of their previous work that I liked. I got exactly what I wanted, on time, and for a reasonable price. Verbena is my new florist!

I teared up when I saw my bouquet for the first time-- LuAnn and her team completely captured everything I wanted, wrapped up with the prettiest blue ribbon. It only got better from there, with beautiful wedding party flowers and ceremony and reception decor that exceeded anything I had pinned on Pinterest. I picked Verbena after meeting with several other florists because LuAnn was not only easy to work with, but she seemed to get my style perfectly, even adding on her own ideas that I wish I had thought of. She and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with and I couldn't be happier with my gorgeous wedding flowers.

We were extremely intimidated when it came time to find a florist. I know very little about flowers and had no idea what I wanted for my wedding. After an unhelpful meeting with another florist, we were thrilled when we went in for our consultation with Verbena! We met with LuAnn, who was extremely helpful. She showed us pictures of flowers from other weddings and asked us careful questions about what we were looking for. She was unfazed by our lack of knowledge and ideas of what we wanted, and made some great suggestions. She had some great ideas for keeping cost down, since we did not want to spend a lot. The total cost ended up being far less than I'd thought and our flowers were gorgeous. They also rented us beautiful stands for our arrangements that were much more attractive than the ugly fake columns we'd been offered elsewhere! I can't say enough great things about our experience with Verbena and I will definitely use them again any time that I need to purchase flowers.

Flowers .. the thought is so intimidating. All brides want flowers but the cost can be scary... not with Verbena. LuAnn was the easiest person to work with. She carefully crafted my vision and anytime I had a change she was both flexible and willing to make the changes. She is absolutely willing to work within a budget and in doing so you don't have to sacrifice style. She created arrangements that were both affordable, beautiful and elegant. I could not have been more pleased!

LuAnn and her team were great to work with. Our flowers turned out beautiful and we got so many compliments on them. Anytime I wanted to make a change or update the proposal, LuAnn responded quickly and sent me an updated contract. She worked with my budget and made recommendations for how to keep costs where I wanted them. She was super low stress and professional. Best vendor that I worked with for our wedding. I highly recommend her!

Absolutely amazing! I gave LuAnn and her team a color scheme and general idea of what I wanted for my wedding, it was like she got in my brain. It turned out beautiful! Exactly what I wanted! They a great group of people to work with, flexible, friendly, and really care about what you want. They are an absolute must for a florist at any event!

Verbena - and LuAnn, the owner, in particular - was amazing. Helpful, not pushy at all, patient. She gave recommendations when I asked for them but I never felt like I was being pushed into something. On the day of the wedding, she came up to my room and asked if everything looked okay, if I had any questions. She even used some extra flowers she ended up not using on the mantle to decorate other places, no charge, no fuss! She and her team are on top of it!

Verbena did an outstanding job for my wedding. Even though I had very little knowledge about floral design, they were able to easily lead me through the different options and ideas. LuAnn at Verbena was a pleasure to work with, and the arrangements were beautiful! We had a large wedding and a lot to accommodate within our budget, and she spent a lot of time with me refining the proposal to make it work and still accommodate my vision for the wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend working with her to any bride.

Verbena was fantastic. I wanted elegant, vintage decor, and they came up with silver candelabras and red roses and candlelight that made my wedding the romantic old hollywood dream I had hoped for!

LuAnn is absolutely amazing--she inspires confidence in her knowledge of flowers and aesthetic quality (unlike every other florist we met with before her, which quite frankly, scared us with the thought of having them come up with designs on their own). We didn't know our flowers very well but knew a few we'd like to use and LuAnn completely took charge and ran with the little information we had. She delivered gorgeous arrangements within our budget and also helped to hang and place other decorations around the site. She and her staff are awesome, and don't miss her shop, either. It is beautiful and full of beautiful things, a sure sign to trust someone with questions of beauty.

Verbena did an amazing job with our wedding flowers. The flowers were beautiful and fresh! All the bouquets and arrangements lasted for a couple of weeks after the wedding. Their staff is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and patient. They are willing to work with your budget, and always get back to you quickly if you send an email or call with questions. Best florist in Austin in my opinion.

I absolutely loved working with this vender! This flower shop is a small one, but the consultants are very friendly, ready to do whatever you want, and easy to talk to/work with. I used this vender to get my bouquets. The consultant listened to what I wanted, looked at my inspiration photo, and helped make my ideas into a reality. There was very low stress involved in the process. They were also flexible in the pick up of my flowers. I highly recommend this vender.

I wish I could give Verbena 100 stars, because I can’t tell you enough how GORGEOUS and PERFECT my wedding flowers came out. I met with LuAnn about 2-3 times before my wedding to go over the vision I had in mind for my flowers. Despite hours of searching on pinterest and google, there was not a single photo I could find that matched exactly what I wanted for my own flowers. When I sat down with LuAnn, I showed her aspects of several photos I liked, such as these soft green eucalyptus leaves, those soft pink and peach roses and dahlias, that style of loose and gathered bouquets, and basically asked her to put all the bits and pieces into a bouquet that I had in mind. I have to admit it was pretty terrifying not knowing how my flowers would come out and not being able to see them until my wedding day (you can ask for a mock bouquet but it costed extra and I wasn’t willing to drop the money), but when I saw my flowers for the first time on my wedding day, I was so in LOVE with them! They were absolutely flawless and totally spot on of what I had envisioned this whole time. Not only that, they went along with my soft romantic color scheme and our elegant venue perfectly. All my girlfriends commented to me how my flowers were so, so beautiful. I especially appreciated how LuAnn was very accommodating from the start. She always made an effort to make sure she was on the same page of my vision for my flowers. I also really liked the fact that you could choose to either keep all your flowers after the wedding or donate them to Dell Children’s Hospital for all the sick children there. Since I am a pediatrician, I was ecstatic to donate them! Thank you for making the most beautiful, most perfect flowers I could have ever asked for and for giving me the opportunity to give back in the community! Hire Verbena! You will not regret it.

Verbena was wonderful to work with. They were able to make our wishes happen within our budget, really respecting our limits. I was very happy with the majority of my flowers, including ceremony, reception and cake flowers. I was a little disappointed by the bouquets, some flowers were showing a little brown, and the boutonnières, which were orange instead of peach.

We got married back in December of 2015 and when we emailed for an estimate, they were very responsive! We worked with Luann on our floral arrangements for our ceremony & reception and throughout the process, she quickly answered all my questions and was very upbeat. I LOVED my bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres. During your face-to-face consultation, make sure that you see a physical representation (example of floral arrangements in relation to vase sizes and/or table) of your centerpieces so that you know exactly what will be expected the day of. Overall, Luann was very pleasant to work with and was accommodating with our wedding needs, especially with last-minute changes.
