Perfect honeymoon

Angee is amazing. Super friendly, cheerful, and accessible. We were overwhelmed with all the choices for honeymoons and she listened to what we were looking for and helped us narrow it down to a few options that were perfect for us and within our price range. We chose Excellence El Carmen in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and LOVED IT. Angee took care of flights, ground transportation, hotel reservations, everything. She came by our house before we left to drop off documents and answer questions. We felt like all we had to do was show up and enjoy our time! Highly, highly recommend Angee for help with honeymoon travel or any other kind of travel you might be planning! She is awesome!

Angee was ah-mazing! As we know, it can be tough being a bride... lol Angee really relieved some stress off my shoulders by handling our guests' travel itineraries and hotel accommodations. She creates a beautiful website dedicated to the bride and groom which guests were easily able to find any information you wanted to communicate. She was there for us via email and phone and answered a lot of questions we had professionally and quickly. She was always offering suggestions for the things we were clueless on, regarding invitations, tours, and just general timeline inquiries we had. This review is long overdue but better late than never. :) Thanks Angee!

We used Vacations with Flair/Angee Shields for our Los Cabos destination wedding in April and loved her! We had about 70 people coming in from different areas and each was handled wonderfully, we heard nothing but great things from our guests. Angee's response time and thoroughness is unbelievable. The website she created for our guests was extremely helpful and presented the info so nicely. We highly recommend Angee, she will not disappoint!

Angee helped me out tremendously when it came to my wedding travel! She answered every question that I had, even when it came to my wedding! If she didn't know the answer right away, she would figure it out!

Vacations with Flair/Angee helped my husband and I plan our dream Honeymoon to Greece (13 days). We initially met with her in person to discuss a few Honeymoon ideas we had been throwing around. After a brief chat we narrowed down the destination to GREECE. I knew that planning an international trip would be overwhelming (especially while planning a destination wedding) and I would not have felt comfortable planning a trip of such magnitude by myself. Throughout the process my husband and I changed our minds 1 million times about travel dates, what islands we wanted to visit, budget, hotels etc. but Angee never seemed frustrated with us. (Even though I am sure we drove her crazy at times) Angee took care of every detail. Flights, Airport Transfers, Ferry Tickets, Hotels and Excursions. We stayed at two beautiful hotels in Santorini that fall under the Classic Vacations umbrella. Perivolas in Oia and Sun Rocks Hotel in Firostefani. Perivolas was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at and I am glad Angee suggested this property to us. The service we received from the staff was first class and the VIEW....nothing will ever compare. When we arrived at our 2nd hotel we weren't very happy with the location of our room (due to a foot injury) I emailed Angee to let her know we were kind of bummed and she called the Hotel to see what could be done. We were moved to a new room the next morning and I was glad that Angee was able to call the hotel on our behalf to get that squared away since we we were preoccupied that afternoon on an excursion. After booking with Vacations with Flair/Angee she sends you a detailed itinerary and handy travel compartments to help you stay organized. Whether you are planning your Honeymoon and an Extra Special Vacation I would highly recommend Vacations with Flair to assist you with your vacation needs.

Angee is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about places to Honeymoon! She listened to everything that we wanted and was able to find the perfect spot for us. She was organized and made our travel experience for our Honeymoon easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend using her.

What can I say!? Angee provided us with the honeymoon of our dreams! Neither my husband, nor I had ever taken a vacation like this ever in our lives and really wanted something special. We had a limited budget, and Angee did an AMAZING job listening to what we did/didn't want, and matching it to personal style and budget needs. She hooked us up with an AMAZING room at the Hard Rock Resort in Riviera Maya in the adults only Heaven section. She left a surprise element by not telling us what room she booked for us. To our surprise she had booked us the Deluxe Platinum Sky Terrace! An amazing room, quiet, with a great ocean view. The perfect setting for our honeymoon! Our travel arrangements went off without a hitch and Angee called our room phone to make sure that we arrived safely and without any problems. She even provided great practical advice for navigating the airport in Cancun, etc. This resort was AMAZING! Angee and her family had already traveled there and knew this would be a great spot for us, matching both of our personalities and having activities and services that we would both enjoy. Her service is personal, friendly, trustworthy, exciting, and exceptional! At the end of our trip we had a significant flight delay that meant our ride couldn't pick us up from the airport. Angee was in constant communication with us during our delay and arranged transportation for us from the airport so that we didn't have to arrange another ride. Seriously the BEST, most outstanding customer service we have ever received. We cannot say enough about Angee and Vacations With Flair! We had the honeymoon of our dreams, memories that will last a lifetime, and my previously "not a beach guy" husband, is needless to say, now a "beach guy" and we are already thinking through when we can return! Highly, highly recommend!

Angie with Vacations with Flair was absolutely amazing! She worked out our dream trip within our budget and had such a memorable honeymoon. If there was ever trouble or a question, she was just an e-mail or text away and responded quickly. We couldn't have asked for someone better to work with and would definitely recommend her to anyone planning a trip. Can't wait to book another trip with her!

Angee was a very exciting person to help us through the destination wedding process! She was patient with us through ALL of our questions and stayed calm although we probably asked the same questions multiple times.
Angee was quick to check with the resort and get back to us about wedding details, prices, and questions we had from our guests.
The resorts that Angee recommended us were in our price range and exactly what we were looking for.
Our guests were impressed how Angee set up quick transfers to/from the airport.
We were very impressed and will use her again in the future!

I had the pleasure of working with Angee and Vacations With Flair to plan my honeymoon to Maui. During the planning process, Angee was responsive and attentive to work with; she helped build the perfect vacation including hotel, airfare and excursions. During our trip they checked in to make sure all was well and even fixed a schedule issue! Their guest service is incredible and I am planning to work with them again in the future.

My husband and I knew we wanted a perfect, unforgettable, once in a lifetime honeymoon, but had no idea where to even begin looking...that's when we found Angee with Vacations with Flair. She was amazing to work with and provided us with service we truly don't think we could get anywhere else! From day one Angee was so attentive and helpful while helping us plan our honeymoon. She answered all of our questions and was so timely with any requests that we had. She went above and beyond when our flight from Chicago to Miami was delayed an hour and a half. We missed our flight to St. Lucia by 30 minutes and were stuck in Miami for the night. This threw off our reservations for our helicopter tour as well as the fact that we were going to lose a whole night in our butler suite. We called her as soon as we landed in Miami and within 2 hours she called us back and said everything was taken care of. She had pushed our stay out an additional night and rebooked our helicopter ride. She took the stress off of us and allowed us to enjoy our little detour stop in Miami. She was absolutely amazing and would recommend her to anyone who is traveling!

I want to say thank you to Angie for helping us plan the perfect honeymoon!

She was so great to work with and so helpful with all of the questions that we had regarding where to go. When we started looking at places to go we spoke with 3 different travel agencies and they didn't really seem interested in helping us. I saw Angie at a local bridal show, and I am SO thankful that I did, because I know we would not have had the honeymoon we did without her!!! She was so welcoming and immediately put us at ease about where to plan our honeymoon as it can get very stressful. She takes care of everything! All you have to do is show up :)

She was on the phone with us for over an hour on a Friday night, helping us find the perfect place to go and answering our questions. She uses her personal travel experience while recommending places which we really found trustworthy. She was very prompt replying back to emails and phone calls (even when it's the night before we leave and we still have questions!!!) She was always more than happy to help in any way that she can and we cannot say enough good things about her!!

We cannot wait to book our next trip with her!

My husband I went through Vacations with a Flair, our representative was Angee Shields. We really enjoyed her service. She was very responsive to all my emails. She was not pushy. She showed us tours that we could do. We booked them with her too. When it came to the honeymoon. She had everything ready for us and we did not have to pay anything in St. Lucia exept for the tips on the excursions. She was very friendly. I am going to use her again in the future.

Angee Shields booked the vacation of a lifetime for my wife and I. We got married on Oct. 12 and went to Riviera Maya, Mexico from the 14th-20th for our honeymoon. She got us a newlywed suite at an all inclusive resort. Plus, she set up the flights and transportation to and from the resort. She was very helpful with helping us prepare for a trip outside of the country. Also, she was very quick to answer every single one of my many questions. We will use her again as out travel agent the next time we want to go on a vacation.

Angee was always available to answer my questions and found me a great deal for my destination wedding in Hawaii and honeymoon in Bora Bora. I contacted her on a weekend while I was on my honeymoon and she responded very quickly and helped me out with a problem had. I already recommended her to my cousin for her honeymoon.

Angee's was incredible to work with. She helped us find the absolute perfect Honeymoon package. We were so busy with other wedding details that we gave her our budget, told her where we had been, mentioned a couple places we thought of visiting and yet told her we were open with her suggestions. She provided several options right at our budget level and our Honeymoon was phenomenal - we never even left the resort as it provided all we needed and more. We would not have changed one thing! Absolutely nothing but RAVE reviews for Angee and the services she provided! She helped us put together a family vacation for six of us and we had so many little requests and struggles along the way (especially scheduling!) We could not be happier that we were referred to Angee Shields with Vacation with Flair. She listens to her clients needs and really tries to get to know the couple when suggesting honeymoon destinations. We loved our resort and were very sad to leave. It was a very stress free trip because Angee arranged airport transfers so we didnt have to figure out how to get to our resort once we landed. We were also surprised to learn that Angee called the resort manager and was able to get us upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite. Which was AWESOME!!!!! We have found our new travel agent in Angee Shields!!!

The South African holiday was superb. We went to South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Our trip was for the month of July. Therefore, it was winter in the southern hemisphere. Angee at Vacations with Flair planned it perfectly. We began in Cape Town, had a rental car to go to the Winelands, then flew to Johannesburg and then Zimbabwe and Botswana. Keep in mind during all of this time we stayed in fantastic locales, we had private tours, we had leisure time to relax and enjoy the environs. We shopped and walked and just enjoyed every moment. We took fantastic game rides at several game reserves that were absolutely incredible from the the food, to the rangers to the cacaphony of animals! Then we ended our trip in Johannesburg where I had one of the best spa treatments ever! All of this was planned by Angee! What I really like about her is that she listens to what we want to do, she offers suggestions and she plans trips that are exciting yet not overwhelming. Whether the trip is for a weekend or a month, Angee can help to make your dreams and experiences unforgettably wonderful!

Angee Shields – Vacations with Flair – put together a fabulous, fun-filled 4 week South African (South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana) vacation for my sister, niece and me. What a trip!!!. This was one of the best vacations that I’ve ever had. A big part of what made this such a special vacation was the sequence of activities. From the specific activities to the hotels--even down to the personality of the guides, we felt this trip was created especially for us.

Vacations with Flair possess many great qualities that make this company so special but let me focus in on three points that stand out:

Our honeymoon was a breeze! Preferred check-in and baggage handling, and a free room upgrade from the resort because she is a preferred agent. We were planning to make this a one time trip, but now we are definitely going to repeat!

My husband and I decided we wanted a travel agent for our honeymoon. At the time we were busy planning our wedding and wanted someone to help us with you honeymoon destation. We went to a bridal show the end of January and met Angee Shields: owner of vacation with flair. We were not sure where to go but somewhere tropical and romantic. Angee gave us many brouchers and information about some resorts. We booked our honeymoon next month to Sandles Emerald Bay in Great Exuma, Bahamas. We had a few meetings with her and she was wonderful and answered our questions. She also found the best airfair with an insurance package. A few weeks before we left for the honeymmon Angee mailed us a schedule of our flight and hotel information as well as a little case to place our passports and boarding passes. While we were in the Bahamas, Angee made a speical arrangment to send us chocolate covered strawberries,my husband and I really enjoyed them. We enjoyed our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience with Sandals that we booked a vacation next summer and Angee with be helping us with another trip. Angee was a tremoundous amount of help to help with our honeymoon planning!

Vacations With Flair treated us great. Angee answered any questions that we had and made sure to be in constant contact with us each phase of the honeymoon planning. Anytime we called her to make additional payments she handled it promptly and sent us the reciepts. After arriving at Sandals in Great Exuma the manager came over to us informing us she was expecting our arrival and that Angee had contacted her making sure that our stay was everything we had expected. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked St. Lucia for our 1 year anniversary. We are pleased to be doing business with Vacations With Flair again.

Angee Sheilds of Vacations With Flair was SO GREAT to work with. I was planning a destination wedding and had no idea where to start. When I first contacted Angee, she was just so patient with me and gave me a lot of information to think about. I have to admit that I shopped around after that to compare her services to other travel agents. Let me emphasize this....THERE WAS NO COMPARISON. Angee gave such a personal touch to her service. She answered every question I had, and if she didn't know the answer right away, she found an answer.
Angee recommended that we take a look at the Karisma resort Azul Fives. She had traveled to many of the Karisma resorts and knew that they were a great choice. I think the fact that Angee has traveled to the places she recommends is a great upside to using her services. During the course of planning this trip Angee traveled to Azul Fives and took lots of photos for me and spoke to the staff onsite about any questions or concerns I had.
Of course with planning a destination wedding a lot of things come into play that differ from when you are planning a regular vacation for yourself. There are the guests to worry about as well. Trying to get multiple people from multiple cities to another country is not an easy feat! Angee handled everything with ease! (At least that's how she made it look!) I know that my family members were not easy to work with all the time, but she took great care of them, and made them feel comfortable and worry free!
I definitely recommend Angee Shields and Vacations with Flair to ANYONE who wants to have a romantic vacation! And I will absolutely use her again in the future!

Angie was AMAZING to work with. We were referred to her from our wedding planner. It was 2 months before our wedding and we had no idea where we wanted to go but knew we wanted the trip to be "Once in a Lifetime." Angie visited with us and then went to work and came up with 4 proposals. We ended up deciding on 6 nights in Greece. The trip was perfect, my husband and I had an amzing time. She took the time to add little things that we would never even have thought about. From private drivers having signs with our names, to world class resorts, to a winery tour at sunset. We highly recommend Angie and will look to her in the future for our travel needs!

My wife met Angee of Vacations with Flair at a bridal show and wanted to use her as our travel agent. She put me in charge of planning the honeymoon. I gave Angee a call and I could tell she loved her job. She made planning our honeymoon fun and exciting. She seemed just as excited as us, which made us feel good about our decision to use VWF. Angee gave us suggestions that fit what we were looking for but also listened to what we wanted. She wasn't pushy trying to sell us anything. She made the whole process stress free. She was available and responded very quickly anytime I had questions. About 2 weeks out there was a hurricane that went through the Dominican Republic where we were going. Angee called down to our resort to find out if there was any damage. The night before we left for our honeymoon there was another hurricane in the area. I called Angee late on Sunday night, she checked to see if our flights were cancelled/delayed, and said she'd be on standby if anything changed. We will definitely be using her again for our next vacation and will recommend her to other people. I can't thank Angee enough for the service she provided for us. Angie did a fantastic job with our South African Honeymoon trip. We were blown away. She thought of everything! We didn't have to worry about anything. We could just sit back and enjoy our trip.

I can't imagine getting married without Angee. Even though I never met her in person, after countless hours on the phone and web, by the time of the wedding, she felt like she had been there with us every step of the way. She was great working with all of our guests (we went on a cruise) and several of our guests wanted to know if Angee would be going with us! That's how up close and personal Angee was with everyone. Angee was very attentive to special requests. My mom has celiac disease and Angee checked to make sure Celebrity Cruiseline would be able to accomodate all of my my mom's food needs (no gluten). Angee recommended the hotel before the wedding, recommended Celebrity cruiseline which we were extremely happy with, set up shuttles, set up shore excursions for some of us with private organizations, and was on call all the time to make sure all of our guests (30 of them) were ready to go! I would wholeheartedly recommend using vacationswithflair to plan your destination wedding or any other trip you may be thinking of. Thanks, Angee!

Vacations with Flair was the best thing about planning our wedding!!! Angee was so great! I talked with her at a bridal show and honestly felt that she wanted to help me as best she could. She was focused from the get-go on my husband and myself and what we wanted. She never once tried to get us something we didn't like nor did she try to upsell anything under our noses. We received awesome promotions that we probably wouldn't have gotten anywhere else. The resort we went to treated us exceptionally well, just like Angee had said they would. Over all, I will be in contact with Angee for future traveling, even now after we have moved 3 hours away from her location!

Angee was incredibly helpful. Would make time for us at odd hours when we needed. She was extremely patient and was very knowledgeable about each step of the process that we were going through. We never felt pressured and always felt like we were well prepared for the next step!

Angee helped out plan our honeymoon. She was very helpful! We started by speaking with her on the phone to give her a better idea of that we were looking ofr and how much we were able to spend. She then sent us a few destinations that fit our criteria. The way she presented each of our choices was great! The website was very easy to navigate and use. Upon arrival at the resort we had some problems with our check. I sent Angee an quick email just explaining what was going on and within an hour it was all taken care of! We had an amazing trip!

Lied about receiving my Hilton Honors points

I booked a reservation with them for a wedding I was attending, and I have nothing favorable to say about their service. I asked directly if I book with you all will I receive my Hilton Honors Points and they stated that I would just to let resort know. I booked through them paid at hotel for reservation and was told I couldn't receive any Hilton points because the room was reserved by the travel agent. Was also told that the room was much cheaper going through the wedding party which was another bold face lie. I spoke to quite a few people who attended the wedding and booked through this company, and they all had negative views of this company. One person even had the wrong room reserved for them.

Unprofessional

We were extremely disappointed with the quality of service provided by Angee and her staff. We booked our vow renewal over a year prior to our event date. We were provided with our invoice March 2018 and had until May 2019 to complete payment. Well, April 2019 less than 60 days until final payment is due; Angee then sent us an "updated invoice" advising that there was a discrepancy in the child rate and we were now responsible for paying the difference. Neither Angee nor her staff did anything to help us or our guests due to their error. Instead, Angee stated that we should have looked at the rates on the resort website and crossed referenced them with the rates she provided. Clearly, I should have booked directly through the resort instead of through Vacations with Flair since Angee was no help whatsoever. The resort wedding coordinator was much more helpful than the Vacations with Flair team.
