Savannah and Christian were wonderful to work with!
We used the Mirror Photo Booth for our son's wedding. Savannah was a great point person with the administrative work and Christian was a gracious and excellent host of the photo booth! The Best Entertainment Service in the State
This group has everything you could ask for - we used the spark fountains, the photo mirror, and the best DJs! They kept the party going, and everyone is still talking about how awesome everything was. Do not hesitate - book them now! As a former planner, I've seen so many weddings in the upstate, but they impress me every time - they impressed me so much that I booked them for myself! The epic dance party of our dreams!
Uptown Entertainment was the absolute best to work with. We had a huge vision to throw a festival-like experience for our wedding reception with a grand entrance, live musicians, lighting, pyro, and an epic playlist. Justin and his team completely understood what we wanted and ran with it. The final result was nothing short of perfect. We had an absolute BLAST at our wedding and have heard nothing but incredible things from all of our guests about every element of the incredible dance party. There is not a single thing about the set that we'd have wanted any different. We're already trying to make up a reason to throw another party with Uptown!! Go DJ, that’s my DJ!
We had Matt as our DJ on Nov. 5th and he was excellent!! I truly could not have asked for a better DJ! He was professional, helpful, knowledgeable, nice, interactive and FUN!! The cherry on top is that we have the same taste in music, which made the experience that much better! I have gotten so many compliments and highly recommend Matt/Uptown Entertainment! He did an awesome job!

Great DJ for Homecoming Dance!
We had DJ Bobby and loved working with him for our Homecoming Dance! He was a great communicator and super responsive during the planning stage. He made sure he knew what we wanted! Made our vision a reality
Oh. My. Gosh. Uptown Entertainment is amazing! We were assigned DJ Arley as our main DJ. He was super personable and friendly during our final details meeting prior to our wedding. And our reception was the most fantastic party! Arley and assistant DJ Eric did a great job. They worked in as many of our requested songs as possible, and they mixed songs skillfully. We received SO many comments after our wedding about how great the music was! One of our priorities was hosting a reception where everyone had a good time on the dance floor, and Arley and Eric got it done! Everything was seamless and professional. Thank you for making the vision for our big day a reality!

Arley and Electric City were at our daughter's wedding on Saturday. They were all so nice and the reception was incredible in large part because of them. Amazing! Worth every bit!
We had Matt for our wedding a few weeks ago. To say he was amazing would be a complete understatement! He was so sweet and helped talk us through every question we had and gave us the night of our lives. He made our wedding reception. He kept everyone dancing and moving and just managed the entire flow of the evening to make sure there were smooth transitions from one moment to the next and we still have people calling to tell us how awesome our dj was. Amazing DJ experience
Uptown Entertainment did an AMAZING job at my wedding! They have an online client portal that was incredibly helpful and easy to use. You can upload your wedding songs manually or if you've been creating a playlist you can upload it that way. They responded very quickly to my e-mails and would send check-in e-mails along the way which was very reassuring. I didn't have to worry about being forgotten. My guests also raved about how amazing the music was and how much fun the DJ was. I would highly recommend them and would use them again myself in a heartbeat.

Arley and Jas brought the party!! If you are looking to have a blast at your wedding and dance the night away book Uptown Entertainment. So many guests came back to me after raving on how amazing our DJs were! They were worth every $ spent. Our dance floor was full all night, people who don’t normally dance were out there having a blast! Best vendor from our wedding hands down. We had a bilingual wedding and they did a fabulous job of blending both of our family’s styles. Arley’s mixes and song transitions were so seamless!!!! Jas had energy for days and got the crowd to their feet. Also get the sparkler fountains it’s a wow factor you don’t want to miss.

This was the second time we have used this entertainment company for a wedding in Greenville, SC. The first time was 5 years ago when our son got married and last weekend when our daughter got married. They were extremely professional, kept the dance floor moving at all times, and the extra light show was icing on the cake!! Would absolutely recommend them and use them again.

Arley is amazing!
We had the pleasure of having Uptown Entertainment's Arley DJ our August 2021 wedding at The Venue in Asheville, North Carolina. I can't speak highly enough of him!
Personality-wise he is a 15/10 - he's so sweet! He immediately made us feel comfortable and provided guidance when needed with our music selection.
At the actual event he was perfection - he got our guests on their feet and dancing for the entire night. We were at another wedding several weekends later and were able to see a stark contrast between our DJ and theirs... no need to look further - Arley with Uptown Entertainment has it all!!

Best After Party
I booked Uptown Entertainment services for our entire wedding weekend for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony music + A/V, cold spark send off and for the after party. With a very formal wedding reception planned I was adamant on having a great after party so I could just dance. To say that Arley and Alex with Uptown Entertainment nailed it would be an understatement. Everything about this duo was spot on throughout the entire event and I could not have been happier. I would highly recommend booking Uptown Entertainment for your upcoming event as their skill level and professionalism are like no other!
PS - If you haven't booked the cold sparks for your send off, you're truly missing out! It started raining just before sendoff and these were able to brought into the venue and still used! Best part, no hazy/smoky photos or mess to clean up!

I 100% using Uptown Entertainment for your wedding day! Our DJ was Arley and he had the dance floor packed the entire time. Many guests complimented how professional he was in introducing the wedding party and various aspects of the timeline throughout the night. Wow, just wow!
I don’t even know where to begin. DJ GASPAR! We used Uptown Entertainment for our wedding on April 25, 2021 and Gaspar was the star of the show, just what we asked for.. no wait, EVEN BETTER than we could have imagined. This was truly the best night of our lives. We have never seen such a lively dance floor. I truly am still in awe. I don’t know why anyone would ever use anyone else. If you want to have a full dance floor, an exciting event, or a wedding you’ll never forget - we highly recommend Uptown entertainment, specifically DJ Gaspar Gomez.

Get the big mirror photobooth!
Not a big fan of leaving reviews unless it was out of this world amazing OR if it is absolutely terrible service. In this case, I don't think 5 stars is enough. If you are thinking about getting the giant mirror photo booth for your wedding... stop thinking and do it! We thought it would be a cool thing to add for the guests.. We had NO idea it was going to be as big of a hit as it was! Every single person was obsessed with it. They print out copies for everyone AND they print out copies for you to have in a photo album. We've looked through it so many times. On top of how fun it is... the service was 10/10! We thought the person was just going to drop off the mirror and people would figure it out. Wrong. Eric was dressed to perfection, and was incredible! He was as much of a hit as the mirror was. He was so kind and engaging with all of our guests. We were having so much fun with him, my husband and I didn't want to leave. It is worth the money, it is worth asking for Eric! Also they helped us create our own photo filter so it was on theme with the whole event. They didn't have to do that, but they were so kind and efficient with it too! Stop thinking, and do it. Promise it's worth the money.

We were absolutely blown away by DJ Gaspar and DJ Alejandro! They made our wedding reception SO much fun and kept the party going all night long. Gaspar took the time to get to know us before the wedding and made sure that our reception had the vibe we were looking for. We had so many people come up to us after the wedding and say how much they loved our DJs! Not only did they pick the best music, but they also got out on the dance floor with us and even let me get behind the DJ booth for a song or two. Finding a DJ was the hardest part - you can sample food, but can’t sample a party! Uptown Entertainment was highly recommended by one of our other vendors and we booked them based on that alone. We are so HAPPY we did! Arley was excellent - he took time to meet with us and create a perfect playlist. Our guests danced the entire night and we were told by everyone that they loved the music. Uptown, and more specifically DJ Gaspar, totally delivered for our wedding! We absolutely couldn’t have been happier with every aspect of Gaspar’s services; his enthusiasm, the music selection, the lighting, his communication, absolutely everything was fantastic. We let him know that we had been practicing a special dance for our “first” dance, and he matched the music up perfectly. Book Uptown immediately. They were AMAZING, especially Adam, Arley and Eric! Uptown was so wonderful to work with from start to finish. Their music forms really made it easy to figure out our style and the music we wanted to listen to and what we didn't want to listen to. We had a meeting with Adam (our lead DJ - the best ever!) and finalized everything prior to our wedding and so he could get a feel for our personalities and how our guests would party with all the music. Boy did our guests have an amazing time! We were constantly told how much our guests loved our DJs because they actually mixed the songs and didn't just play the songs from start to finish. Having a wedding during COVID was tough, but Uptown made our evening SO much fun and made us feel on top of the world! My husband and I never left the dance floor once the party started and most of our guests didn't leave it either. They are by far the BEST DJs you could ever hire.

the most fun dance party ever
Justin was absolutely incredible for our day. We were very particular about our songs and he did such an amazing job. SO many of our guests told us that they had a great time because of the music.
Justin allowed us to make a list of songs that we wanted. He also helped coordinate a surprise video to show my husband of his friends who could not be at the wedding due to COVID.
Our reception was extremely important to us - especially the dancing. I think it is evident we had such a great time by the fact that one of our guests ripped his pants he was dancing so much :) My husband and I did not leave the dance floor the entire time!! I wish we could do it all over again.

Uptown Entertainment went above and beyond for us to have our perfect day. They met with us prior to the wedding to discuss what kind of music we like. We didn’t provide them a list of songs we wanted specifically, but the music they played matched us perfectly. The guys had the guests dancing and having fun. We added the mirror photo booth last minute and it was a perfect addition. I didn’t know until after the wedding that they were printing pictures for guests to put into an album for us to take home.
The care that the team put into our day made our wedding perfect. I’d recommend them to anyone getting married!

Arley was wonderful for our wedding reception! First, planning was seamless and helped us feel at ease so we could enjoy our big day. Moreover, he took cues from the dance floor and special requests from our guests, all while making sure we had the best time! Wonderful DJ
Not only did Chris from Uptown Entertainment do a great job at our wedding reception, he also helped us pick out reception music when we were having difficulty by offering suggestions of different genres and listening to our opinions. At the reception, he kept everyone pumped but didn't make anything awkward!

Excellent DJs
Uptown Entertainment was by FAR the best vendor and least stressful part of our wedding. They were knowledgable, experienced, and easy to talk to, they were above and beyond what I would have ever expected from a DJ. When we started wedding planning we were kind of set on a band, I am very anti-DJ usually, because we all know the corny, embarrassing stereotypes we've seen at weddings. I have to say that I'm so glad we decided to go with Uptown Entertainment instead. We paid a little extra to have Adam, who was a total gem and I cannot rave enough about what a great DJ he was. Uptown helped make sure things ran smoothly, and everything happened exactly as they promised it. So many vendors disappointed us in the lack of follow through, and the amount of times we had to have repeat conversations. Uptown was the exact opposite, their planning tools, and every conversation we had with them pre-wedding day was executed exactly as discussed, and they were fun to be around, nice guys. We had them for the ceremony music as well as reception, and again, they made sure things stayed on schedule and that timing went off perfectly. I don't know why anyone would choose any other DJ in the Upstate.

Wedding Dreams Come True
It’s been a week since our wedding,and our guests are STILL talking about how fun they had !!! They were particularly impressed with the DJ. With flawless transitions between songs, uplighting and effects, Justin and his crew kept the energy going and truly took our reception to the next level. Our ceremony began at 3:30, and our dance floor was still full and hopping until the last dance at 11:00!
They were more than a DJ. They created the perfect ambience- song, setting and mood - for each part of the evening: the grand entrance of the bridal party, our first dance, mother-son dance, dinner, the cake cutting, bouquet toss,...
Even prior to the actual wedding, Justin was great about communicating with me to make sure that it was everything we wanted. I had been concerned about the room set up and Justin was kind enough to meet me at the venue and work with the coordinator to find the perfect setup for the music and tables.
His photo booth crew was personable and enthusiastic. We are enjoying seeing our photo album of everyone’s fun pictures! It was the perfect night and perfect wedding . I know Uptown Entertainment played a huge part in making that happen! Thank you guys! #Nick

The party never stopped!
From the very beginning we had a very easy process with Justin and his crew at Uptown Entertainment! We gave him some cues about what songs we wanted and which we did not, but other than that Justin knew and played exactly what was needed to keep the whole crowd on the floor! The night flew by because there was never a lull in the music! We wanted a party and Justin provided an awesome party!!! My husband an I HIGHLY recommend Uptown for your wedding!!

Adam was our DJ and was nothing short of amazing! I had guests coming up to me during the actual reception to tell us how awesome our DJ was - and I totally agreed! Uptown Entertainment and Justin did an amazing job at our wedding. Everyone had so much fun on the dance floor especially me! Justin did a great job as the MC and kept the night high energy. I could not be happier with my experience with Uptown Entertainment! I used them for my reception, the mirror photo both, as well as their faux snow exit when my husband and I left the reception. Everyone who came to our wedding has said to me it was the most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding and that is 100% to do with Uptown Entertainment’s services. I highly recommend using the faux snow when exiting as well. The pictures we were able to get from it were absolutely beautiful! (I uploaded an example. We used Jennifer Stuart Photography for pictures as well) Uptown Entertainment was highly professional and very talented. They took the time to meet with me to make sure everything was perfect and unique to our wedding. They made sure we were able to make our wedding exactly how we wanted and not just like every other wedding. They were also great at reading crowd and knowing exactly when to play certain songs. The dance floor never emptied off for even a second. They were able to keep the energy high for the entire 3 hours. I could not be more satisfied with my experience with them and highly recommend using Uptown Entertainment for your wedding as well!

Justin was amazing! Not only did he keep the energy levels high for everyone that attended, he also took control to make sure everything ran smooth. He was so easy to work with and not only took requests but also varied the music to please all ages. He made sure that the dance floor was always filled and between the music and lights, it was definitely a party! Prior to the wedding, he touched base multiple times to make sure we were on track and he knew what was going on so that there was no surprises or miscommunication. Justin made our wedding the best party of our lives! Through the online planning tool we were able to select tons of songs that we love to help show him the vibe that we wanted for our reception. Justin took that information and worked his magic. Our family and friends were out on the dance floor until the very end of the night! Justin also set the entire mood for the reception with beautiful uplighting and our personalized monogram lighting. Our friends and family are still raving weeks later about how much fun they had! Uptown kept the party going the whole time. From the ceremony music to the reception. They even provided the lightening at the reception, which was breathtaking and definitely set the mood! They played everything on my playlist, including a youtube song I sent to them because it was in a different language and started it at the exact 30 second mark I asked (I was shocked and so happy). Joe was super friendly and asked a few times during the night how things were going and if there were any extra special requests throughout the night. Everyone raved about the music and how smooth the transitions were. Would definitely hire them again for future events. They really make your day special, fun, and will have guests talking about your wedding. We also used the mirror selfie, and it was a huge hit! People were always in line getting a photo in the booth. They offer so much and I love that!

Way More Than Just a DJ
We were recommended Uptown Entertainment by a good friend who actually works in the wedding industry. She said they were the best, and she was absolutely right! We met with Justin a couple of times to give him the feel and vibe we wanted for our wedding and reception. He also took the time to get to know us and what was important to us, especially for that day. It didn’t take me long to realize Uptown Entertainment is way more than just a DJ. They are all about creating the best possible experience and are considerate of the every detail. For instance, my wife’s father is blind, and we discussed where the DJ booth should be located as to not blowout the sound in one direction. Also, I realize I may be in the minority on this, but I absolutely loath those line dances that are always played at weddings. When I relayed this tidbit to Justin, he assured me he could avoid those types of songs and didn't need them to get people out on the dance floor. He was right! The dance floor stayed full and lively, and they knew what to play and when to play it, reading the room and the people in it. I don’t think I ever realized the huge role a DJ plays in terms of creating and orchestrating the flow of events during a reception, and this may be because not all DJs do this or do this well. Uptown seamlessly and flawlessly directed attention where it needed to be, moved people through cocktail hour and dinner and so on, and keep the dancefloor popping. Every detail was thought through and considered. Bottomline, Uptown Entertainment knows their stuff, does their homework, and just goes above and beyond to make your event the absolute best!

Uptown Entertainment is the ABSOLUTE BEST! They also DJ'd for my sisters wedding 2 years ago, and as soon as I got engaged, we immediately booked them! They are extremely professional and reasonably priced! They worked with my husband and I to customize the music and lighting to fit our vision for our wedding day. Music is very important to me and my husband and we are extremely picky about certain genres, artists, covers, etc. and they made sure to have all the songs we requested without hesitation. During the wedding, our DJ made sure to keep us informed throughout the night about when he would be starting the cake cutting, garter/bouquet toss, last dance, send off, etc. They made our night so special and it was everything I've ever dreamed it would be!

Uptown did an incredible job creating the wedding (party) of our dreams! Adam was our DJ and was so professional, always attentive, and did an incredible job reading the crowd and making sure the dance floor was packed all night! The atmosphere that they helped to create always kept the party flowing and the night was over before we knew it. The photo booth was also one of THE BEST things we did for our wedding. There was always a line and we received a wonderful scrapbook keepsake at the end of the night. Can't recommend Uptown Entertainment enough!

We had Adam and Sam on our big day and they were AMAZING. Our initial phone consult with Justin was exactly everything we wanted to hear. The initial phone conversation I had with him also made me feel comfortable and positive that I made the right decision by choosing them. Their website was very easy and they had an extensive song list from which you could choose from. When we met Adam, both my husband Jeff and I liked him immediately and he reminded us of one of our friends who DJ's on the side. He was straightforward and told us exactly how everything was going to work. Uptown Entertainment did our ceremony as well as our reception and our guests had a blast and were on the dance floor the entire time. We had the time of our lives and the guests/friends/family that we ran into the next day were saying how everyone especially me, the bride never left the dance floor.

We knew Justin was the wedding DJ for us the first time we met him. He's talented, charismatic and easy to work with, and he has a modern approach to DJing that was exactly what we wanted. He kept our dance floor packed and helped make our reception a party to remember! He also provided our uplighting and really cool interactive mirror photo booth, which was a big hit! As a local wedding planner myself, when it came to planning my own wedding, I knew I wanted a high-quality DJ who would be talented enough to provide the best entertainment possible while gauging the room, the guests, and the flow of events. Having worked with Justin and Uptown Entertainment many times before, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt, that these were the guys I wanted for our own wedding. Justin and I met about a month out from the wedding to talk through music choices, and I trusted him enough that instead of me choosing specific songs, I gave him some genres to work with. He took the reigns, and the dance floor was full the entire night. Many of our guests have said how they've never heard a DJ that good :) We also used the Mirror Photo Booth, uplighting, and dance floor lighting for our wedding...the lighting itself helped transform the space, and the Mirror Photo Booth was a huge hit all night! I am so incredibly grateful for Justin, Sam, and the rest of the Uptown team...and would recommend them to any bride looking for high-quality entertainment on their wedding day :)

We were very nervous about picking a DJ, but we definitely made the right choice with Uptown Entertainment! They were so responsive to questions and listened to all of our input. They were willing to work with us on all special requests and concerns. Our guests are still telling us how much they loved the DJ and how great he was at reading the room. We couldn’t be happier!

Justin's communication in helping us take care of all the details and working with our schedule from out of town made the dj preparation process stress free. I can’t express enough on this review how amazing our experience was with Uptown Entertainment. You guys made our reception and absolute blast. These guys know how to throw a party! My wife and I had Justin (owner) from Uptown Entertainment DJ our wedding and we could not be more pleased with how it went.
From the initial consultation, Justin exuded the energy and charisma that we knew we wanted in a wedding DJ. Justin approaches his work with a strong sense of professionalism, while at the same time being able to quickly develop a strong rapport with his clients. Every time we met with or spoke with Justin, I found myself saying “I want to hang out with that guy again” due to his energy level and friendly disposition.
Now onto the actual music. Before the wedding, we provided Justin with ten songs total from my wife and myself (five each). These songs varied widely, so we were curious to see just what direction Justin would take it with regards to the rest of the songs. We couldn’t have done it better ourselves. Justin chose a perfect blend of 80s, House, and recent Top 40 that had everyone on the dance floor for the better part of the night.
Another highlight was the way in which Justin seamlessly blended the different cultures/personalities at our wedding with his music selections. Our wedding was a mixed culture wedding (American & Indian) and Justin did a great job blending the two together when it came to song selections. The Indian song selections were so on point that I think the American people were dancing just as much as the Indian people.
We can’t say enough good things about Justin and Uptown. Justin was the only DJ that we interviewed, so we can’t speak to where his pricing falls compared to his competitors. That said, if we had to do it all over again, we would easily pay double or triple what Justin charged us.
In conclusion, if you are thinking of throwing a wedding at the Westin (or anywhere else in the Greenville area for that matter), don’t overthink it when it comes to hiring a DJ. Hire Justin and Uptown Entertainment and you’ll be glad you did. I know we are!

The dance floor was full all night long! I was a little anxious hiring a dj because most weddings I've been to had live bands. Uptown surpassed all expectations, we danced all night long...We want to do it all over again! Never again will I be anxious about not having a band! They played all of our favorite dance songs and kept the party alive all night long! .. We also used their uplighting and photo booth services and they made us the most beautiful album with people's pictures from the booth! The actual wedding scrapbook cover is very elegant...so nice that we thought it was just another wedding gift and we opened it and realized it was fill with the photo booth pictures from Uptown! It was so fun returning from our honey moon to look at all the fun pictures. We're even going to add the rest of our wedding pictures to this album. I can't say enough good things about Uptown Entertainment! Definitely our first phone call for our next big event!

"A Class Act" are the words I would use to describe Uptown Entertainment and in particular our D.J., Joe Tetzel. Warm, friendly and a ton of fun, Joe's personality and charm had us at from the beginning. He asked all the right questions regarding the feel for the ceremony, flow and vibe of the cocktail hour and reception. As we wrapped up our meeting Joe, he left us with the words, "Don't worry. I got this" and he did! He has a great feel for music and knows how to keep the party going. He kept to his word and we were thrilled! I would highly recommend Uptown Entertainment. As the mother of the bride, I can't say enough about Uptown Entertainment. They were wonderful to work with and greatly exceeded our expectations. They provided the wedding and reception music, emceed the festivities, the mirror booth with an attendant ( everyone loved it), up lights and the videographer who captured the all of the special moments and fun. Justin from the beginning bent over backwards to work with our budget- he was able to get everything we wanted for a reasonable price. Adam was the best! Not only did he do his job but he helped with the entire flow of the wedding and even asked what he could do to help me when plans went a little differently than planned. He was awesome - he picked the best songs for fillers and he was just like having a buddy at the wedding. Loved working with both guys and would recommend them over and over again to anyone looking for a DJ!!!!

We hired Uptown to be our wedding DJs and they were awesome. Justin and his team were amazing! There were phone calls, emails, and a one on one meeting to make sure our wedding day went exactly how we wanted it to go. He customized a package based on our wants and needs and worked with our wedding planner to create our dream wedding! Justin was really great in every interaction and category. The services he provided were top notch - he produced a great atmosphere with not only the music but also the uplighting and MC work. He was also very professional and responsive before the wedding. Lastly he went beyond expectations in offering last minute help when things unexpectedly shifted.
