  Kristen and Patty are the best!!

  Cannot recommend these two enough! We had a destination wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and I actually thought I’d be able to do it without a travel agent at the beginning…. Big LOL to that. I don’t know what I would’ve done without them! They coordinated travel for all of our guests and ourselves, answered every question along the way not just for me but for all my guests, and were on top of it 24/7. They were so friendly and so wonderful to work with! Plus added bonus from doing the room block, they scored us huge savings, comps, and complimentary events (all depends on what resort you choose and size of your block, of course). I would highly recommend them for your wedding room block, and personal travel in general!

  Very Good Experience!

  We worked with Patty, based on a recommendation from a friend. She was wonderful to work with! All information was always included (emails, invoices, etc) and she was so responsive. We had a destination wedding and she helped alleviate stress from having to answer guest travel information; she also helped guests with booking (hotel and/or air), updating reservations, etc. I’d highly recommend!

  Great Team

  Patty and Kristen go above and beyond for their brides. I had many questions and was confused about some items ( I have never planned a destination wedding before, clearly) They jumped in and helped with EVERYTHING. Never made me feel like I was being a burden and explained everything. Quick replies and they are both genuinely there to help you. I actually got to meet them in a viewing at the resort we booked for our stay during our wedding and they let me tag along with them to see all the rooms of the resort and helped me stay in touch with management if I needed anything. The week of my wedding they also stepped in and helped with communication once again with the resort. They are amazing and by far the best travel agents I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

  Patty and Kristen was easy and great to work with.

  We used unique romance and travel as our TA recommended by our wedding coordinator and I was very pleased with their service. Quick responses and very transparent with the arrangements.   Punta Cana Wedding

  With a group as large as ours, we can’t imagine not having had Patty and Kristen by our sides throughout this process. They were super responsive, had a solution to all the different issues that arose and were knowledgeable. Our destination wedding was a success thanks to them! They really provided ease of mind especially with Covid.

  Heather Bannon was the best!!!

  When deciding where to have my wedding at first, I would have not chosen destination as my first choice. The more and more I thought about being married in Costa Rica, the more excited I became. Heather Bannon was a HUGE reason why my husband and I had the best days of our entire life. She organized all 80 guests (after juggling 200 that were invited) travel documents, shuttles, rooms and so much more. I can’t thank her enough for making everything so easy and special for me. All my guests loved how knowledgeable, organized, responsive and funny she made everything. On our honeymoon, I had nothing to worry about. All the tours were set up, rooms were decorated, wine was flowing and in the most gorgeous place! I would recommend Heather for anyone looking to relax and have a beautiful wedding/honeymoon/vacation. You won’t regret it!!!

  Heather Bannon was Amazing!

  My wife and I were put in touch with Unique Romance Travel and Heather after inquiring about a property in Riviera Maya as a potential venue for our destination wedding. She not only gave us all of the information and guidance on how to approach wedding like this, she also provided extremely valuable insight into other properties and venues that we would not have been able to find on our own. She was responsive and understanding to all of our (seemingly unending) questions and concerns. Not only did she handle and coordinate the booking of rooms and travel with all of our guests, she acted as an amazing intermediary to the resort staff at the property we ended up choosing. Heather goes above and beyond to research and recommend the best of a given locale to tailor your experience to the unique character of you group! I was fortunate to have had the privilege of knowing Heather prior to working with her in this capacity, and was not surprised to see how her spirit of hospitality influences her amazing ability to select and coordinate the perfect destination wedding or vacation!   Best Travel Agent - Hands Down!

  We worked with Heather Bannon to plan our destination wedding in Mexico. She was absolutely AMAZING from start to finish. Heather was patient with me and always fully addressed any questions or concerns I had. She called me and explained the entire process: obtaining deposits and payments, the available promotions, and the appropriate deadlines. She communicated with us consistently and was incredibly flexible and helpful with some last minute changes our guests had. Using Heather took so much of the stress we may have otherwise faced when planning wedding travel. She also coordinated all of transportation to and from the airport for our guests. The whole process was flawless from start to finish. I highly recommend Heather and Unique Romance Travel to any and all future brides who want to plan their dream event. We enjoyed working with her so much that she is helping plan our Honeymoon trip next year!

We worked with Carla and Joanna to plan out our wedding this time and they made our lives so much easier. They connected us with the hotel in Cancun (The Fives Azul) to begin planning with their wedding coordinator, always ensured that we were being treated and communicated with properly, built an awesome website to communicate the wedding details, and coordinated logistics with all our guests. We and our guests had an awesome time and loved the resort that we chose with Carla/Joanna's help. They collected all of our wants and needs and recommended the El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya! They contacted the hotel and got us the best price for rooms and took care of everything!! They created us an amazing wedding website which we could provide to our friends and family to give them all the details they needed! Carla would answer any and every question my mom and had! She helped each of our guests book their rooms and followed up and let us know when people had booked. She put us in contact with the best wedding coordinator at the resort who helped us plan the actual wedding and honeymoon. I would absolutely recommend Dave and Carla if you are doing a destination wedding!

  Best Travel Agency Ever

  My husband and I had the most incredible honeymoon, thanks to Unique Romance Travel and our agent, Susie. Wedding planning and everything leading up to the big day was very, very stressful, but planning our honeymoon never was. Susie helped us choose a destination that was perfect for our budget and interests. We mentioned our love of cooking and food, and she found us a PERFECT resort that offered gourmet food, and even cooking classes. It was like a match made in heaven! Susie made sure that our entire experience was stress-free, from the airport/hotel transfers, to booking tours and everything in between. She was only a text away during our whole trip and answered every single questions we had about tipping locals, arranging transportation, and so much more. My husband and I have never been on such a relaxing trip. It was exactly what we needed after our wedding! Thank you Susie, and Unique Romance Travel! You're the best!!!

  Julie Frederick was hands-down the best thing that happened to us when we wanted to book a destination wedding. My fiancé at the time found her online and I was a hesitant bride to be, to say the least. However, she exceeded our expectations with getting everything booked with the resort at a super discounted rate! We ended up booking Now Onyx in Punta Cana after we had Julie price a few other resorts out. She was available at ALL times of the day and by text, phone call or email. There were a few hiccups once some of our guests arrived but the resort overbooked the rooms and Julie did what she could do given the situation, time constraints and language barrier. Overall, everyone was very pleased with Julie's exceptional service from day one, to even after we were home and settled in as husband and wife. We have and will continue to recommend her to anyone looking to book a destination wedding. She made it seem flawless and so easy!

  We used Carla for our January Azul Sensatori wedding. She was great to work with and kept a steady flow of communication through the entire process. She even handled our difficult relatives with ease :) She had a good knowledge of all different venues and helped pick out the perfect one for our needs!

  Carla did an AMAZING job booking our NYE trip to Riviera Maya 1 week before! My gf surprised me with this trip and I can honestly say that i have never experienced a more Romantic, relaxing, and enjoyable time in my 34 years. She even made magic happen and got us a private candle-lit dinner on the Caribbean white sand. Thank you so much for your hard work! Definitely recommend Unique Romance!

  Long story short, Julie is absolutely amazing and I would 100% recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or vacation. She is incredibly professional, thoughtful and organized and truly made my wedding an absolute dream.

Finally, she also took care of coordinating the rooms and payments for all of my family and friends (which is a huge task by itself)- and they also only had wonderful things to say!

  Carla and her team were attentive to our needs and truly explained try process of using them for our travel agent during our destination wedding. They were so attentive and so accommodating to our large group. She helped advocate for us and confirm that we got exactly what we were hoping to get. I feel like I could talk to carla about everything. I would choose them again and again if I could go back!

Carla and Joanna planned an unforgettable Italy honeymoon for us and were willing to listen to all of our requests. They truly understood what we were looking for. From the hotels, to restaurant recommendations, to transportation services, I feel like they both had focused on all the details necessary to make is trip so amazing for us. I would highly recommend using them to plan any future vacations!

  We used Carla with unique romance with planning our destination wedding to Cancun Mexico. It was a very positive experience from the beginning. Carla always answered all my questions and made me feel at ease with planning a destination wedding. My guests mentioned many times, how easy she made it to book their rooms for our wedding. We had 16 people attend our wedding and there were no glitches at all. All of our rooms were excellent and exactly what we expected. I plan on using Carla and unique romance again to book a trip back soon!

  We used Carla and Unique Romance when planning our destination wedding to Mexico. From the beginning, Carla worked with us to find the perfect area and resort that met our financial needs but still would give a good group rate and have beautiful weddings. Working with Carla was a breeze, she was always quick to respond and would let us know in advance if she would be out of town/when she wouldn’t be available. We met with Carla in person once but the rest was over phone or email which worked well with our schedule. Carla helped to secure the best group rate and extra benefits for the wedding and took care of us and our 60 guests making sure all their deposits/room contract/and transfers were in and correct. This was a HUGE relief otherwise my husband and I would have had to take over that role and it is something extra you don’t want to do deal with while planning a wedding! She also helped contact the resort with little hiccups that came up along the way with my guests. We couldn’t have been happier with the resort we ended up choosing and had an amazing wedding! I would definitely recommend Carla and Unique Romance for your wedding/honeymoon/or any other vacation.
