    What a GREAT experience. I would never have dreamed of planning my event by myself. They are so creative and good at what they do. Very professional and responsive. She spent so much time going over all the details and making sure we were comfortable. I would highly recommend Great Expectations Events if you are getting married.

    AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME! Great Expectations brought our DREAMS to life! Thier ideas and execution were AMAZING!!! If you are dreaming of a Fairy Tale Wedding you have to use Great Expectations!

    I wish I could get married again it was SO much FUN!

    If you are considering hiring this "company" to plan an event, you should really reconsider. In fact, RUN in the opposite direction.

    The chairs we rented from Wendy for our wedding reception were delivered covered in dust and dirt. We had to wash them off ourselves with a hose before the wedding. Just how you want to spend your wedding day! This is probably an indication of how she will run your entire event. After four months, she finally responded to my emails; but of course, none of it was her fault...

    There are lots of other event planners in Tucson, and you would be better off with ANY of them.

    Other reviewers are correct; she was convicted of felony fraud in 2008.

    This woman Wendy Wren is a convicted fraud! She stole our money from the venue Abella that she used to work at and still has not given back our 4000 dollars! Google her name and see for yourself...last year she went to jail for an ebay scam with her husband. She is not to be trusted. She stole so much from Abella that the beautiful venue was forced to go out of business...STAY AWAY!

    Wendy Wren, the owner of 'Not so Great Expectations', is a convicted FRAUD. She will also be convicted of FRAUD once again after what she did to the Abella's Wedding Center. This cold hearted, morally corrupt, and generally horrible human being STOLE over $4,000 dollars from my wedding. What kind of person STEALS from what is suppose to be the happiest day of your life? Do yourself a favor and google her name. Do a little research and stay away from this company.

    PS- Mrs. Wren, if you are reading this, my name is Shane Vickers and I have not forgotten about you and what you did. Legal action is coming.

    These positive comments must have been written by the owner because she is a fraud! She also took money from us and we never received a wedding. All EMPTY promises! I wouldn't recommend this company or Wendy Wren to my worst enemy! Please stay away! Save yourself the heart ache, we are still trying to recover. If you aren't sure who to beleive please google Wendy Wren and the word scam. Her mug shot will convince you!
