We loved our Trotter Photo (Booth) Experience!

We hired Trotter Photo for the photo booth at our reception and we are so so happy we did so! If you are on the fence - I highly recommend! We loved having a photo booth because it's a fun activity as well as a built in favor for guests! It was such a hit! We loved that we got a digital download of all of the pictures so that we could laugh along with the fun memories our guests made throughout the night and loved how everything turned out! Trotter gives a lot of options in terms of photo layout, font, color and design so we really got to personalize it to our liking! Due to the pandemic, we were unable to have photo booth props (which we totally understood and agreed with) but our pictures were just as fun, exciting, and memorable without them! Their customer service was amazing, we loved how easily they set up & took down during our reception and no one even noticed the set up in the background, and the price was perfect too! Highly recommend!

(NOTE: Our wedding was in August 2021, not sure what their policy on props is at the time of this review - I'm just delayed on getting reviews posted)

Our photographer, Emily was beyond exceptional on our wedding day! Additionally, the videographer and second photographer, Nora were also great and we couldn’t have done it with these three! Norma was humorous and patient throughout the day and made the entire day continuously exciting and fun! Emily was open to our photography inspiration and took the extra time and effort on our wedding day. Our photos look phenomenal and we couldn’t have asked for a better group to work with. I truly appreciate Trotter for the exceptional work they do as we have had the great honor and experience to choose them to capture our wedding day.

Pick Trotter!

We used Trotter Photo for all 3 services: photo, video, and photo booth. We have not seen our pictures yet, but the planning process and day-of were more than perfect! Everyone LOVED the photo booth (we did the Buzz) and both photographer and videographer were very professional. We highly recommend them for everything!

Great team

We booked Trotter for photography, videography, and photobooth services. We are very pleased with all of it!! Our wedding day was amazing, and the Trotter team helped make it a special day. You wont be sorry booking this company! We cant wait to see all of the pictures and videos

I am not exaggerating when I say that working with our photographer from Trotter Photo was the the best part of our wedding day (besides getting married of course). We had an indoor/outdoor wedding on May 26th, and most of our photography was done outside. We selected an 8 hour coverage package with a second photographer for 3 hours, and the planning sheet that Trotter provides really helped us to structure our day and prioritize our photography time. Our photographer David was amazing to work with. He called us in the week before our wedding to go through all of the details of the day - the schedule, the preferred shots that we wanted, the details of the venue, etc. We made some adjustments to our initial timeline based on David’s suggestions and they were worth it! David arrived early to familiarize himself with the grounds of the venue and the adjacent park, and he selected some areas where he really wanted to get some shots. David was genuinely enthusiastic about working with us and our wedding party. I initially dreaded the idea of taking three hours’ worth of pictures outside in the humid heat (especially in a wedding gown), but David made the time fun and kept up the energy level. During the reception, David made sure to get pictures of the guests, the dancing, and even moments that I later looked at and thought, “When did he even have time to take this?!” We received our photos about four weeks after our wedding and were so excited by the quality and variety of the pictures. Overall, working with Trotter and our photographer was fun, easy, and took some stress out of the day because we knew were were in good hands.

Trotter was amazing to work with for our big day. We felt confident in their services beginning with our initial meeting which immediately made us feel at ease. Our Photographer was incredibly professional on the day of and the photographs turned out absolutely gorgeous. This company is the best you can work with in St Louis. Professional and excellent quality. We loved all of our photos and can't wait to see the finished products. Matt was the greatest photographer to work with and we can't be happier than the way we are with Trotter. The Photobooth service was incredible too. We had a lot of friends and family come up and tell us that they loved the service and the lady running it that night. You do not need to look any further when it comes to photos for your big day than Trotter.

Most amazing photographer ever! I was the maid of honor in the Schwarzen 2017 wedding, and I actually had fun taking the pics! Photographer was fun to work with and photos came out amazing

Our photographer Emily was fantastic. She was so helpful, nice, and professional. She listened to our requests and helped us get all the shots we wanted even with our tight timeline. We would recommend trotter.

Matt from Trotter Photo did a fantastic job with our wedding pictures! He showed up on time (early!) and was able to get all the photos we wanted plus more! Matt was also extremely fun and worked well with out DJ. He kept us on time and made sure we didn't miss any important shots. Thank you so much, Trotter Photo!
Also, we got a photo booth from Trotter Photo and the attendant was very helpful and nice! Loved how the photo booth photos turned out!

We booked Denise with Trotter Photo at the recommendation of a few recently married friends, and we couldn't be happier! She is such a fun person, and really knew what she was doing. We did an engagement photo session with her last fall, which really helped us know what to expect on our wedding day. She was very quick to respond to my questions and helped me plan through our wedding day. The day was great and Denise was so much fun! She made sure to ask us every time we finished up at a location (we had 2 locations other than our ceremony and reception spot) if we had all the shots we wanted. She was also super helpful in directing us to get some great shots--both at McNair park and on Main Street in St. Charles. She showed up a little early and stayed a little late, just to make sure we got all the shots we needed. We also had a second photographer, Wendy, join us at the park for pictures before our ceremony and all during the ceremony. She was also very nice and took some fun and candid shots of my wedding party while my groom and I were taking portraits. We had a blast taking photos all day long, and even got our four-legged ring bearer in some shots too! We would definitely recommend Denise to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

I found trotter at a bridal show. They provided a great discount for the photo booth. My family and friends had a great time. They provided props and the booth had a lot of space for multiple people. They provided all of the images a couple of weeks after my wedding.

I cannot say enough about our experience working with Trotter for my daughter's wedding. Our pictures and video turned out fabulous! Working with Shelby was great! I was so thrilled with Trotter Photography's professionalism and flexibility! I am a school teacher, so my life can get distracted and off course in a second. We worked with Shelby and she was accommodating to all of my needs and changes, and she made myself and our wedding party feel comfortable. There was no stress with these pictures and I just cannot wait to see how they turn out! If you end up with Trotter, definitely ask for Shelby!

Oh and we also did their photobooth. It was a hit!!!! Worth every penny. You seriously have to check it out - it made our reception that much more memorable.

My sister had her wedding on 7/3/16. Due to rain the day was tougher to navigate than we had hoped. However Trotter Photo staff were still able to work around the mess and produce quality photos of us the wedding party. I would recommend them to everyone. Great experience and my sister and family were very happy. The photos were great and the blended right in at the reception to get some very good family shots.

My daughters review! Shelby and Denise were absolutely amazing! They listened to everything we wanted for our wedding and were never pushy and we never felt rushed. They truly heard what we wanted and brought our ideas to life and didnt miss any of the important shots. I can't wait to see the beautiful photos of my family and wedding. Trotter Photography was the official photographer for our son’s wedding this past July. I was very impressed starting with the first look photos early that afternoon. Shelby, our photographer, was not intrusive but rather present to capture the moment. There were 3 different photo shoot locations that day, and all were done on time and in an organized fashion. Shelby continued to ask for any desired photos throughout our event, and indeed satisfied all requests. I was very impressed when all the photo proofs were available for review. We had photos with many large groups, and all the proofs look great! I would highly recommend Trotter Photography for all your wedding needs.

Our daughters wedding was a very special day and having a fun, enthusiastic photographer was wonderful. Shelby was with us for 9 hours and her positive attitude and professionalism was great. The day goes by so fast and having great pictures to look at helps to relive the day. Shebly's collection of proofs were outstanding. Trotter Photo is a large company which gave me a sense of comfort, but a small cozy feel with the individual person. We were exstremely happy with our photos.

Trotter Photo was incredible to work with! My parents used them as their wedding photography 30 years ago and my husband and I chose to use them and were nothing but satisfied. Both our office interactions with Charlie and his staff and our wedding photographers were fantastic. Mandy and her assistant were polite, accommodating, and flexible. They guided us through the timing options for photos and made sure to check in prior to the event about any questions we had and what photo opportunities we would like. I would without hesitation recommend their photo services to anyone who has an upcoming wedding or other photo worthy event. Thank you Trotter Photo for all of your hard work to make the photos of our big day so wonderful! You are reasonably priced and have fantastic customer service.

Trotter photography was excellent for a wedding photographer! They responded quickly with a phone call and had meeting times within the week to have a sit down consultation with my husband and I. Everything was in writing. All the packages were inclusive to what level of service we wanted. We chose one that came with 2 photographers, free engagement session, album, and prints. For the price, they offered twice as much as anyone else we looked at. The engagement session was phenomenal! Denise worked with us at Historical St. Charles Main Street. She was so wonderful we requested she be the photographer at our wedding also. Trotter made us feel like a priority to them from day one. On the day of the wedding, Denise took all the photos we asked for, plus her expert opinion as well. They all turned out amazing! I am so glad we chose them for the most important day of our lives.

Denise from the Saint Peters location was our photographer. She has helped walk us through every step!

On our wedding day she was prompt, professional and very friendly! Honestly, it was like we had a family friend doing our photos even though we didn't know her before this. She dealt with my moodiness due to the hot weather and my husband's humor!

She cared about the shots we wanted and was more than willing to accommodate for anything we asked of her. We love our photos and I am so happy we chose to go with Trotter (and especially Denise). I cannot sing her praises enough! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We chose Trotter for our wedding photographer and are glad that we did. Our photographer was very professional. She and my wife spoke in advance of the wedding and discussed the types of pictures we wanted. She suggested places for us to take our wedding party photos. The day of the wedding, she arrived on time, set up, and immediately started taking pictures. After the ceremony, she kept everyone moving. Our wedding party was fairly large- 18 people, so it was important to keep everyone engaged and moving from one picture to another. The final pictures turned out great. We also rented a photo booth from Trotter. Our guests had fun with it. We received copies of all the pictures and have had lots of laughs looking at them. We highly recommend Trotter.

Trotter photo was great to work with. Our photographer, Stephanie, was fantastic. She was so personable, had great suggestions for photo spots, and made sure she captured our special moments. The pictures turned out beautifully. We also rented a photo booth from Trotter. Our guests had so much fun! I ordered a photo booth from Trotter for my Lord of the Rings themed wedding. Shelby was super creative and helpful with our design layout, Love her!

Peter was our photographer, also super amazing! All of the guests commented on how nice he was. We had 352 guests and many children and he seemed to connect with everyone.

Trotter made us feel comfortable through the whole process, and they definitely were not pushy. I all around LOVE THEM!!!

I am so happy that we chose Trotter to do our engagement and wedding photos! From the beginning they were very easy to work with, and were very timely in getting our pictures back to us from both the engagement session and our wedding day, even though both were during the busiest times of the year. During the wedding day our photographers were very nice. They were very flexible in what we wanted, and complimented us the whole day on how beautiful everything was and how easy we were to work with. It definitely put our nerves at ease. They ended up staying until the very end of the reception, and we got so many great pictures! I would definitely recommend Trotter to friends and family getting married.

I got a photo booth for my wedding with Trotter and it was great! All of the guest loved it and everything went very well with it. There were no problems and the guest attendant was even nice enough to let two groups of people take one last picture even after it was over, Thank you Trotter!

I used Trotter Photography for my photos, video and photo booth. Larry was my photographer and he was excellent. You can tell he has years of experience and he did an amazing job capturing my wedding day. I had Chris as my videographer and he did an amazing job as well. I was in constant contact with both Larry and Chris and they made sure everything I wanted was done. I am so excited to see how everything turned out. The photo booth was such a hit I don't think it was ever empty. I do suggest getting the guest book as this is something I will be able to look at for years to come. Overall I highly suggest Trotter they were reasonably priced and I love how I was able to use 1 vendor for all three things.

This was the first photography company we met with that made us say "wow" when we saw their albums and list of services. We can't wait to get our pictures done with them, and we're thinking about getting engagement photos done soon as well, kind of as a trial run. Maggie from Trotter photo was so great to work with! She was not afraid to keep the Groomsmen and wedding party in line for pictures and she was so easy to work with. My husband and I felt very comfortable with her that day. Although our pictures are not in yet (we were just married 2 weeks ago), the snapshots she showed me through her camera screen looked BEAUTIFUL. I'm very excited to get the photos in soon!

We also used Trotter for our Photobooth and the representative there was very nice as well. Our guests loved the photobooth and had a great time using it. The design on the printed picture was exactly what I had specified and everyone loved being able to determine how many pictures would print to take home the little souvenir.

We did the photographer and photo booth combo and we were happy we found them online. The cost was reasonable and the photos were exceptional. The photographers were very nice and did an outstanding job. The Photo booth attendant we also wonderful. We chose to hire a photobooth to use as our guests' party favors (for our daughters wedding in October 2013). A fun photo is a treasured memory from a special event. We had so much fun with their goofy props. The line for the photobooth was constant and as long as the line for the bar LOL. Our daughter had a wedding party of 14 people and ALL fit in the booth with room to spare for them to be silly while being photographed. I highly recommend Trotter Photo for your photobooth needs.

Although we haven't received our photos yet, I couldn't have asked for a better photographer in Denise! She took the time to work well with us, the kids, and all of our guests. When I started to become stressed, she took the time to make me feel at ease. She went well above the job description when she made sure I had water, was cool enough, and took the time to sit and relax for a minute with my shoes off! :)
She didn't make us feel rushed, and she listened to exactly what we wanted. She was happy, funny, and genuinely seemed to love what she does.
Even after the wedding, one of the 3 most heard compliments was, "Your photographer was fantastic!" Loved her! :)

I got married this past weekend and used Trotter for both my photographer and photo booth. Both were great and I was very pleased!

My photographer was Melissa and she was wonderful! She was very professional but fun at the same time. I enjoyed looking at some of the pictures on her camera and can't wait to see the rest of them! I felt that she did a wonderful job capturing all the important moments! I would definately recommend her!

We also did the photobooth at the reception! Which was fun of course and the photobook is a great touch! It alot of fun to see all the goofy pictures!

But all in all I would rate Trotter a 5 out of 5! And definately recommend them to a friend!

Trotter was great at our wedding. The photographer we had carried around all the print-outs I had given him of pictures I wanted to recreate and checked them off as he took them. It also rained on our wedding so we had to change photo venues at the last minute and the photographers were more than willing to meet us anywhere we needed to get the pictures. And because of the rain delay, one of the photographers even stayed longer to take all of the pictures we wanted! Great value and great service!

Absolutely everything I wanted in a photographer. Randy did our photos and he did a perfect job! I have to pick 56 pictures for my album, and there is no way I am going to be able to narrow it down to that. I worked with Scott. He was nothing short of amazing. Like some brides we took forever with makeup and he couldn't take "pre-bridal" shots of me. He went wayyy out of his way to pretend so we could get all those special memories after the service. Scott had a great eye and knew exactly what would look good for a bridal party of 22. Amazing, amazing, AMAZING!!! Mary was our photographer and Larry was our second photographer. Both were amazing and took absolutely magnificent photographs. I was pretty picky about the way I wanted our pictures taken, i.e., nothing goofy, cheesy, or non-traditional, and Mary was the perfect match for us. My wedding was on April 24, 2010 and if anyone remembers, there were 2 tornados in the St. Louis area that day; one was right by us. Our ceremony was at 2PM and when I arrived at the church it was overcast and on the verge of raining. Mary reminded me that the best pictures are taken when the skies are overcast, because of the lighting. She, and Larry, did an amazing job before, during, and after the ceremony. After the ceremony we began taking pictures outside when the tornado sires started to go off. Mary never freaked out and suggested we stop. We all knew how the weather works in St. Louis and that the tornado sires were probably going off for no reason, so we kept on taking pictures. We moved onto the Muny and got (maybe) 5 pictures in when the storm moved in. We all had to run and take shelter and we all were soaked from the rain. The weather passed, the sun came out, we went back to our hotel to dry off and get ready (again) for the reception. Mary came with us to the hotel and ended up taking the most beautiful shots of my husband and me. After we cleaned ourselves up we went downtown and took pictures under the blue sky! It was then off to the reception. Mary told us that she had never been stuck outside in a tornado while taking pictures, but she kept her composure and remained professional the entire time! She was so laid back and made us all feel very comfortable. Our pictures were spectacular. Our album proofs just came in and the album is breathtaking. Thank you Trotter, especially Mary!!!!!

We couldn't have been happier with Trotter Photo. Everyone we spoke to at the store was helpful and friendly. Our photographer was very organized and captured great photos. We got our proofs back only 2 weeks after the ceremony! After shopping around in I feel Trotter Photo is an amazing value!

We got married 3 months ago and Trotter was wonderful. Mary was so fun and friendly and captured wonderful pictures of our special day. We will defintely recommend Trotter to our friends and family!!!

I used Trotter Photo for my May 2010 wedding and I am SOOO thankful I did! The price was perfect for our budget! We got so many great shots! Dan and Marty were soooo kind and patient and helpful. I would recommend AND HAVE Trotter to everyone!!!

Everyone at Trotter has been great to work with. Everyone listened to what we wanted as well as what we didn't want. Randy did the photographs for our engagment and wedding. He did such an amazing job we would recommend him and Trotter to anyone. He was professional, easy to work with, and made sure to get all of our must have shots. The pictures turned out so great we're having a hard time deciding on which ones to put in the album!

Our photographer Steve did a great job! We would recommend him to everyone. He was very organized and fun! He made sure I got all the pictures I requested. He ebb worked overtime to make sure he got all the important photos! The company is very helpful and nice to work with! We got all our proofs back in three weeks, awsome! We would recommend Trotter and Steve to everyone!

Our wedding day was a day that every bride would fear. From the moment we woke up we knew that we were not going to have cooperative weather. Bebe was our photographer and her husband was our second photographer. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they were. Between our ceremony and reception we got a bus to take us from place to place, with our photographers to follow. During this time there was a horrible downpour including tornado warnings and tornado sirens blaring. As we drove down the highway all cars were stopped along the way with only our bus and Bebe following close behind. She did everything in her power to be sure we got every shot we could have ever wanted, looking at our pictures you would never know what a dreary day it was. Props to Trotter and their wonderful photographers!!
