AMAZING venue, with great tasting food, drinks, and entertainment. Even though weather said it was going to rain, it didn't and turned out beautifully. Randall and all the staff at trillium were very nice and accommodating with all of our needs and questions. Definitely recommend. We had a great Friday the 13th wedding.

The Trillium is THE PLACE to have your wedding! Randy and his staff are top notch, and they know how to run an event. Our wedding night went so smoothly and we didn't worry about a thing. If I needed anything throughout the planning process Randy was always available for questions. We had our ceremony at the East Gazebo, and it was very peaceful and quiet. The Ballroom is HUGE and perfect for a large event, I was worried about the room looking empty during the reception because it looked so huge (when it was empty) but they set up the tables and chairs perfectly and made it look amazing! Good parking and beautiful patios, wouldn't have wanted our special day anywhere else! The Food was absolutely amazing too, so many compliments! Thanks Trillium Team!

The Trillium is outstanding with their service, attention to detail, flexibility, going the extra mile, and their food is absolutely scrumptious from the appetizers, entrees to dessert!! I've worked with Randy and Chef Dave, and they are always very helpful and willing to help with anything special we need. They remember preferences and keep detailed notes of previous meetings. Randy ensures everything goes smoothly at the event and is available for help and also to oversee that things are done properly during the event. Chef Dave is very accommodating, knowledgeable, and his food is absolutely delicious! It's not easy to prepare high-quality, plated meals for 200 to 300 people, but he makes it look easy...amazing!!!

Finding a venue where we could give our friends and family a nice meal at an affordable price was exceedingly difficult. Here, you get a great value for your money. Everyone told us how good the food was, how professional the staff was, etc.

We held our reception here under the tent. There is a paved sidewalk leading from the building to the tent , making for a really cool bridal party entrance to the reception! I think the open air and all of the space made people feel comfortable. People stayed and danced the night away. Also there is a ton of green space, a gazebo... all great photo ops! I've provided a bunch of pics of those so you can get a feel for the place.

Randy was awesome. I must have called and asked him about a thousand questions, and he answered every one.

My aunt and uncle constructed a wreath that we hung from the center of the tent and he let them set it up the day before. That may not happen in the future, because I think that it will become more popular over time! Anyway, can't recommend them enough. Here are a few pics from our reception.

Wonderful staff that is organized and professional. Easy to contact and respond back quickly. They go out of their way to accommodate your every request and wish. Food at the venue is phenomenal! They allowed us to have an elegant and classy wedding that I had not one complaint about!

We are so incredibly happy we chose Trillium for our wedding reception! The place is beautiful to begin with, and we were able to add whatever decorations we wanted as long as it didnt ruin the walls, floor, tables, etc. like any place. It was located close to many hotels and Grand Haven, where our wedding ceremony was located. Randall was so professional, helpful, flexible, answered every question we had, very informative and knowledgeable, kept the night running smoothly too, the staff was super helpful for my husband and I and to our guests, we got many compliments about the reception and the amazing staff and food/beverage. Our wedding was on a friday and we were so thankful that we were able to decorate the day before too! I would definitly recommend this place to anyone getting married! Ceremonies/receptions can be done there, and they have the option of an outdoor tent for the reception too. Amazing venue for sure!!

Beautiful venue with even better staff to work with! Our wedding was stunning, the food was incredible, and the serving staff were so kind and helpful. The booking process was a joy as Randy made every effort to make sure I had everything exactly the way I wanted it. We were so happy we went with Trillium Events when it was all said and done! Would highly recommend!

Trillium Event Center is a wonderful place. Especially for a wedding. Randy the manager is so great to work with. I appreciated everything he did for us! Our wedding turned out perfect!

Randall was amazing! Every time I had a question or needed something he was always very quick to respond. He helped my event go as smoothly as possible. The morning of my wedding it had rained and my guests told me he was even drying off the chairs! The venue is absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend!

This place is beautiful! The staff and management is wonderful to work with. The price is very good and affordable. When I was looking for place to host the party, I saw pictures of Trillium online and immediately thought it was out of my budget. I finally called and realize it was in my budget. The food is delicious!!

I was blown away by the Trillium. Randy was amazing- He responded to my emails quickly, handled my many changes, and made sure I felt confident with everything before I ever left his office. The gazebo was beyond beautiful. The landscape was flawless... I loved the pond, the beautiful trees and that beauty continued inside to the ballroom. The seat covers and sashes that we rented from the trillium were so nice, and the bows were perfectly tied. When the Buffet was ready, everything was full, fresh, and tasty. My guests loved the burgers and chicken from the backyard BBQ, and all the condiments were cut up perfectly, and the staff kept everything full throughout the night. One last thing that I want to point out is that Randy and his staff made my wedding very special. I was so surprised to see Randy there working right along with his staff...and he always made sure to check in with me, make sure I had everything I needed, and I knew that if I needed anything, he would make it happen. I am so thankful for Randy and his staff, and HIGHLY recommend the Trillium for any event.

I would highly recommend the Trillium for a wedding. Our wedding was perfect. Everything was set up to expectation and timing was great. Randy did an awesome job answering all of our questions and was flexible with meeting with us on several occasions. He was around for most our our wedding day and did everything he could to make our day go smoothly and help us with whatever we needed during the reception. I couldn't have asked for a better day.

Trillium was the venue for a vendor training event. The staff we able to set up the rooms to our liking and helped with media set up. The food was excellent and every thing went smoothly.

Randy and all the staff at the Trillium are wonderful to work with! They were so supportive and helpful throughout the whole planning process and were so patient and thorough in answering all of our questions! We had our ceremony at the gazebo out back and it was gorgeous! Randy was so helpful in offering suggestions about decorating options and how seating/sound typically works. They were so flexible and willing to make changes just for us! Everything was just what we wanted and was set up how we had discussed. The food and service was fabulous! The Trillium uses recommended DJ services which were very affordable and we were very pleased with! Overall a wonderful experience and I would recommend them to anyone wanting an elegant, beautiful wedding venue.

From beginning to end The Trillium staff was there to answer questions and help set up the venue to our liking! We had an amazing experience on the day of our wedding, from the service to the food! It was wonderful.

We loved Trilium! It was so convenient to have the venue, linens, and catering come as a package deal with only one person to contact. They also coordinated set up with our outside vendors so I didn't have to!

Randy was an amazing coordinator. He was very pleasant and patient. The day of my wedding it rained, which wasn't apart of my plan. Randy was immediately recoordinating cocktail hour. Our guests loved the food, they are still talking about how delicious it was. I loved the atmosphere its very elegant at a great price. Wedding planning was stress free thanks to Randy and his staff! I highly recommend The Trillium to everyone.

Randell and all of the Trillium staff were wonderful! In the months leading up to the wedding, Randell was always helpful and ready to answer any and all questions my husband and I had about the wedding. On the day off the wedding, Randell and the staff were more then accommodating for anything that was needed at last minute. Everyone was so professional and so willing to have everything just right. The food and service was great. All my guest definitely raved about the food!
All in all, it was a beautiful location with great service and an awesome staff and at a reasonable price!

We had a wonderful experience! It was absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious and the service was great too. We have no regrets using them. They were wonderful to work with too.

We looked into about 6 venues for our wedding in the muskegon area and all of them were either over priced or weren't what we were looking for. I found Trillium Events just by searching for places near the church we were getting married in. When we had a meeting with them to figure out details, they were SO nice and honest with us. It's a family run business and they treated us like family as well. They found out what we wanted and what we were able to afford and they figured out how we could get the most for our money. We did our wedding pictures there, used their catering and bar, and even used their DJ. We were happy with everything and many of our wedding guests said it was the best location for a wedding & reception they have been to.
They even helped us with a fun little wedding video we made ;) The place, employees, food, and DJ were all wonderful!!

We engaged Trillium to cater an event at our venue using their outside catering services. These guys were amazing. Every question, every challenge was met with "we can do that." The food was incredible - the quality, the temperature, the presentation. Their staff was awesome. They made us look good! We will definitely be using their services again.

We had a wonderful experience with Trillium in Spring Lake. The food was wonderful! Service was great and they were easy to work with during the planning process. I would highly recommend using the Trillium for your wedding.

This is a great venue. Try to get the ballroom to the left when you are walking in, the one to the right faces the side driveway and isn't as pretty but still kept up.

What a perfect wedding experience, thanks to Trillium! They were so helpful, flexible and professional throughout the entire planning process. Their facilities are elegant and breath-taking. I had my ceremony at the Trillium gardens and gazebo which was absolutely stunning and then the reception at their gorgeous ballroom. I had so many guests comment on how "floored" they were with the venue. Beyond that, the food was phenomenal! When we went to our food tasting, I was beyond impressed, it was some of the best food I had ever tasted and the variety allowed something for everyone (even myself being vegetarian). The chef was flexible and was willing to work with us to create the perfect menu. Its one thing to serve great food when there is only one table to prepare for, but the true test of their skill came on the wedding day when they had to prepare for 200 guests at once. The food was fresh, hot and just as delicious as the tasting! The staff there is extremely helpful and took care of everything so I could enjoy my day. They took the stress out of wedding planning and gave me a reassuring peace that everything would be handled so I could sit back and relax. I can't thank the Trillium enough for allowing me to have a wedding that exceeded my wildest dreams; I would absolutely recommend the Trillium to anyone looking for a venue that provides an elegant and classy environment and a staff that meets your every need along the way.

Randy at Trillium made planning a wedding less stressful. He was very knowledgable and quick in replying to my frequent emails. They made our wedding exactly as we wanted it to be and we are still hearing from guests about how delicious the food was. It was everything we could have hoped for and more!! We would highly recommend the Trillium! The venue is big, clean and modern looking. The outdoor ceremony gazebo is just beautiful. The staff are all friendly and professional. The food is so delicous, best we have ever had for a wedding. The only negative thing we would say is regarding the kids meals. It was a mess at the wedding because by the time the staff came to each table to give the kids their meals they were already up in the adult buffet line. It was irritating we paid for all those kids meals and not every kid got one. We would suggest the staff place the meal in front of the kids before anyone gets up that way it ensures they get one. Bride to bride dont let the parents decide what they eat. For example some of our parents passed on the kids meal so basically the 5 yr old was eating a $21 meal and you end up paying for an uneaten kids meal. That ticked me off (and i dont blame the staff at all)! So tell the staff to just place it in front of them regardless. Other than that the Trillium made our dream wedding come true.

Trillium was very easy to work with when planning our reception. They were willing to make the changes that I requested for room set-up, food choices, etc. Loved that we could do a food tasting before-hand, so we knew exactly what we were picking. I could tell that their goal was for us to have the perfect wedding and they would do anything they could to help make that happen.

Highly recommended!! The Trillium Banquet and Conference Center is a fantastic place for a wedding reception. We couldn't have been happier with the service and the facility. Family and friends still talk about the wonderful food and the beautiful ballroom! We also have wonderful outdoor pictures, due to the beautiful grounds. Thank you Trillium :)

Beautiful venue for a reception, food was excellent, service was excellent. Lots of space if you have a big wedding, which is hard to find. Very up-to-date with technology...great for music, slide shows, etc.... Trillium was very clean, modern amenities, can't say enough.

The price was worth the value of the services. The food was amazing and liked by all who attended. Even picky eaters found the food to be satisfying. The room was gorgeous and well controlled by the staff.

Trillium was wonderful to work with. They responded quickly whenever I had questions and were incredibly easy to work with. And the food was amazing!! We received so many compliments on it. Helped make the whole evening enjoyable.

Lisa at Trillium was a huge help in helping us plan for our wedding. They are very flexible and willing to work with you. The food is AMAZING! Gilmore Collection did an amazing job and our guests were very pleased. The setting outdoors for the ceremony was very nice and the room inside for the reception was big enough for our guests. The only issue we had was with the microphones. We were supposed to be supplied with 3, but only had 2 which made it difficult for the musicians. But overall, I am very pleased with how accommodating they were and for their quality service.

The trillium changed some of their staff around while I was planning my wedding. Because of this, I had some delays in communication because I was emailing someone that no longer worked there.

Trillium was an amazing place to have our wedding ceremony and reception. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything went very smooth on our wedding day. Very clean, well kept, and glamorous. Not to mention the food was amazing!!! The only small things I would change is the alcohol sales policy, and some decorations were not allowed, such as glitter, flower petals, and such. Not a huge deal. We came up with other options and everything was perfect!

Beautiful facility and set up. Food was amazing. Randy was very accommodating to our needs and requests, and worked very closely with us to make our wedding as beautiful as possible while staying within our budget.

Our wedding was at Trillium Events on 9.14.13. We chose Trillium for our wedding reception venue because it was close to our ceremony location in Grand Haven, I had heard that the food was fantastic and the price was reasonable. We worked with Randy to plan our reception and he was great! The food was fantastic! Food was a big thing for my husband and I because it a huge part of the reception. If the food is bad, family and friends are hungry and nobody can dance with an empty stomach. Hats off to the chef at Trillium! I didn't hear one bad thing about our reception. Everything I heard and I experienced was great. Thank you Randy and all of the staff at Trillium!

If you have special requests, re-confirm these details the week before your wedding to ensure everything is in place.

The prom package was great except for the DJ. She was very nice, but overall her selection of music was not fitting for a high school dance. Several of our students started leaving prom at 9:00 P.M. Two chaperones, including myself spoke to her about playing the music that the kids requested. Her response was that she did not have the radio/edited versions of the songs. I specifically asked to be contacted well in advance so that we could give her a list of songs to make sure she had the music the kids would enjoy, yet still be school appropriate. She contacted me 2 days before the event. She said she had emailed me the week before; however, I didn't receive the email until the day after we spoke on the phone. She played a lot of old music, more fitting for a wedding reception which is why I had initiated the contact well in advance. Honestly, the night would have been perfect if it had not been for the music. It's disappointing that we paid so much money for a wonderful event only for our kids to leave early, which is completely out of character for our students. They typically fill the dance floor and stay until the end of our dances.

The staff at Trillium was very easy to work with and very accommodating. I was the bride who changed her mind a lot and Julie and Meghan were always willing to work with me. There were some minor bumps along the road but overall their service was great. The Gillmore Collection is their caterer and their food is DELICIOUS. The only complaint that I had was we had crab cakes and steak for our reception meal and some of the steaks were cooked more on the rare side. It was great for fiance and I but not for some of our family members. I wish we would of spoke with them regarding this beforehand. But their ceremony site is absolutely gorgeous, I LOVE their gazebo. And the ballroom for the reception was beautiful as well. My favorite part was the ceiling above the dance floor - they have these amazing twinkling lights that look like stars and they didn't turn them on until our first dance as husband and wife :) It was soooo romantic!

We had a great reception at the Trillium and our guests really enjoyed the food and the service during our event was great. I had many questions and most were answered in a timely manner but there were a few instances when I had to wait several days for them to respond. I would also suggest reviewing the details and set up arrangements at the venue several weeks before as I found that very helpful. Overall, I would recommend the Trillium as a venue for a reception or event.

Overall, we had an excellent experience and a wonderful, worry-free night. I really loved the servers and the helpfulness of staff. We were relieved to be able to get in a day early to decorate, and to have the peace of mind that, if we couldn't get in a day early, staff would decorate for us.

My only complaints are as follows: On occasion, I felt as though I was being spoken down to by management. I also felt as though management was trying to control the timing and schedule of my night. We had a schedule in mind and management didn't like it. When we followed our own schedule, management wasn't happy.

I had both my ceremony and reception at the Trillium and it turned out to be a beautiful day! The ceremony site at the gazebo was so gorgeous already we didn't have to decorate except for a few hanging baskets and potted plants in our wedding colors. The reception was great as well, beautiful site and great food. Complaints for reception: Pork we got was quite dry, servers were quiet & hovered around us at the head table when we didn't need anything, and sometimes I felt as though my night was being controlled by the management team, felt like I was rushed through some parts of MY special day/night.

Having our wedding and reception at Trillium was great. The food was fantastic and the staff ran things smoothly so nothing major went wrong. The gazebo that we had our ceremony at is really beautiful as it the ballroom with the twinkle lights above the dance floor. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful place for both their ceremony and reception!

Beautiful setting and food was good however, I had an outdoor wedding at the gazebo and lawn was not mowed. We had to vacuum the reception area before we could decorate and we were told our guests could get seconds at the buffet but there were no plates and rather than get plates the buffet was taken down.

My groom and I thought that the manager should have done a better job with making sure we were not just another client. He changed the seating of the room and my family and I had to adjust our tables at the last minute, we had to ask him 3 or more times to get us a table that we needed to set up and my vegetarian guest did not receive their meal.

Let me start by saying I am not a picky person. The grounds are beautiful, the hall is beautiful. All of my guests were wowed by these things.... What my guests were not wowed about was Randy showing the hall to people while my wedding WAS TAKING PLACE!! There are TWO sides to this venue- one that was not being used and he chose to walk a group of people through our side. When I specifically said I wanted a private party. The food did not look or taste the way it did at our trial. My best man didn't receive a plate until we tracked down a server and asked for one.. My ceremony was not heard because Randy's DJ that he highly recommended didn't make sure my officiants mic was on.... I complained about these things to randy and he gave me a flakey apology while saying "this is my venue and show it when I want to" and as for the food he didn't have an excuse only that " he was sorry I wasn't pleased"
I will tell you this, I could have found a place that was beautiful and NOT pay what I did for these things to go wrong! Very Upset.
