Guests Won't Stop Talking About Our Cake!

Five stars. Truly exceptional.

This bakery played a meaningful role in making our wedding unforgettable. The cake was outstanding. The flavor, texture, and balance were perfect. Guests went out of their way to tell us how much they loved it, and many asked where it came from.

Communication with the team was flawless from start to finish. Every question received a clear and timely response. The process felt organized and stress free. The tasting experience was simple, welcoming, and thoughtfully guided, which made choosing flavors easy and enjoyable.

The staff was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful at every step. Their attention to detail showed in the final result. Because of the quality and consistency of their baked goods, we now visit regularly and continue to be impressed every time.

One of the things we value most is the ability to return on each anniversary and enjoy the same cake again. It gives us a chance to relive the memory in a meaningful way. We recommend this bakery without reservation and are grateful to have them as part of our wedding story.

Wonderful experience staff was very helpful with ideas and preparation.

The cake was delicious with every bite❣️Staff at Torrance Bakery was very professional❣️ the cake purchase was free up to 3 layers if I wanted more I would have had to pay for the other layers.

Torrance Bakery
A cake with exceptional taste
The cake was perfect, three layers with purple, lavender & silver flowers and hearts to match our theme. One layer was white cake with lemon gel, one layer was chocolate with raspberry and the last layer was chocolate with buttercream frosting. We have used Torrance Bakery for years and this cake proves they are still the best.

Cake was beautiful and delicious

Perfect cake!

They gave as small samples of flavors but that was all we needed, our wedding cake was perfect and all of our guest kept saying how soft and delicious the cake was!
We chose a three tiered cake bottom and top layer was marble cake with fudge and the middle layer was chocolate with buttercream. Perfect!
It was decorated with flowers by Flowers by Laurel

Wedding cake

Torrance bakery made choosing a wedding cake a wonderful experience. Our tasting was fun, and very educational. We brought a picture of the design we wanted and also had a custom cake topper that was heavy. We were very happy with our cake, both flavors were very good and the cake was beautiful.
They went above and beyond to get our wedding cake to our venue on Catalina Island.
Highly recommend them and can’t thank them enough.

Delicious cake

Torrance Bakery made the cake for my wedding and from the cake tasting till the actual wedding they were great! Planning a wedding was stressful enough, but they made working with them so easy. The process was fairly straightforward: they showed us some previous cakes they've created, we tasted the different flavors, and told them what we want. You can't go wrong with them!

Easy, smooth, stress free!

The cake was exactly like we requested. We didn’t have a chance go into Torrance Bakery so we did everything via email, but we could not asked for a better cake, it was perfect! It was so easy to communicate with them via email and because we had a picture of how we wanted the cake to look like there were no miscommunications. The guests absolutely loved the flavor combination of marble cake with pineapple jam!

Wedding cake was delicious!

My husband and I were very satisfied with our wedding cake, and all tiers were delicious! Our favorite was the banana nut cake! We used whipped cream for our frosting because it was not too sweet or sandy and it was the most delicious. Because of this, we couldn’t get too crazy with the design, so we kept everything simple and elegant, and the actual cake was delicious!

Happy to have worked with Torrance Bakery!

Torrance bakery was one of the two options that our venue included in our package for our wedding cake. We visited both options for cake tasting and Torrance BLEW the other location out of the water. They were professional, helpful, their showroom was clean, and they had appointments so you did not feel like one of the zillions (the other location it was hard to even find someone to help you they had so much going on). We tried cake at both locations as well and Torannce was the best. It was an easy decision for us to choose Torrance. They had great customer service as well. I went back a few months after ordering our cake to change the color, it was a busy sunday and the manager took her time to sit with us and make sure our decision was the one we wanted. I really appreciated that. On the wedding day the cake was phenomenal, and it looked beautiful. Torrance was an easy choice, thank you Torrance!!!

Torrance Bakery is fantastic. Their cakes are always delicious, and that was especially true for my wedding cake.

We had a different flavor for every tier, and our favorite was the banana. It's delicious!

The Best!!!!

After reading so many amazing reviews for the Torrance Bakery, my now husband and I set up a time to do our cake tasting and speak with a consultant. Everything went so perfect! The cake tasting was so fun and just perfect. We were able to make our decision on the cake flavor and provide pictures to the consultant on exactly what we wanted our cake to look like. And in the end, it was EXACTLY what we wanted. The lemon raspberry will not disappoint!!

Delicious cake!

Torrance Bakery was so easy to work with, they were flexible with delivery times and the cake looked just like the picture we selected. We got chocolate tiered cake and a marble sheet cake, both delicious! Our guests complimented it and said it was the best wedding cake they've tasted!

Delicious, decadent, a major highlight!

Torrance Bakery is an institution in the world of wedding cakes in the South Bay for a reason. All the cakes we tried were delicious, the biggest problem we had with them was deciding on a single flavor combo for our wedding cake.

We were delighted to hear we did not have to commit to one kind of cake, you can do different cakes for different tiers which was perfect. I was able to have a slice of both on the day which made me super happy.

Torrance Bakery also did an excellent job of translating the look of our cake into reality based off of a few reference photos we had given them and our color palette.

Our guests raved about our cake to us afterwards and I indulged in both flavors of our delicious cakes on the day which made me a very happy bride indeed. Thank you Torrance Bakery!!!

Beautiful cake, delicious too!

Our cake came as part of the hotel package, but Torrance Bakery really knocked it out of the park. Prior to going in for tastings, they gave us the option to put together custom mixes of cakes + frostings/fillings as alternates to their standard set. Their staff took detailed notes of our design ideas, and used printouts of past cakes they've done to inform the final design (we particularly loved their buttercream flowers). The final cake looked even better than we envisioned it.

Couldn't stop eating it

Our cake was one of the highlights of our wedding. The cake was exactly like the reference photos we sent, arrived on time, and tasted DELICIOUS. The whole process was seamless from the cake tasting, where we were able to figure out what exactly we wanted) to final delivery, and I can't recommend Torrance Bakery enough. All our guests were raving about the cake after the big day was over.

Our wedding reception venue provided a wedding cake through Torrance Bakery. We worked with Isabel from their wedding department. She was very helpful and professional in explaining our options and helping us make a decision for our wedding cake. The cake was delicious and it turned out exactly how I'd wanted it.

Beautifully Delicious

My cake was delicious. We had three tiers each a different flavor. I normally do not like buttercream frosting...but this buttercream definitely won me over. The tasting was quick and easy. Any questions we had were answered. And my cake was delivered and ready on time.

My wedding cake was delicious!! Everyone loved the flavors and the decor on it. They were extra accommodating when we couldn’t decide which flavors and gave us all of them to try at home to decide. It was amazing. I also got my favors from Torrance Bakery an ordered heart cookies personalized. They were a huge hit! Best cookies anyone had ever had. They were delicious and super cute. Made the wedding perfect. Will definitely come back every year to re live our wedding cake experience.

Our wedding cake was included with our package from our wedding venue, and I am so happy we were able to choose Torrance Bakery for our cake. Our wedding cake looked absolutely stunning, it was prettier than I could have imagined. It also tasted incredible, my favorite layer was the vanilla cake with fresh cream and strawberries. We also ordered a grooms cake in the shape of a skateboard, and it was fantastic.

We really enjoyed working with Torrance Bakery. From the tasting to the ordering and delivery processes, it all worked flawlessly. We ordered a tiered cake and mini desserts for our wedding. Everything was perfect from the tasting to the wedding day. The cakes that we tried and picked for the wedding tasted identical. Our dessert station had so much variety for our guests. Everyone really enjoyed their sweet treats. The detail that is put into the quality taste and design exceeded our expectations! We LOVED our wedding cake from Torrance Bakery! We had 3 flavors (1 tier banana with vanilla custard,, 1 tier white cake with French cream & fresh strawberries, and 1 tier chocolate and white cake with raspberry mousse and chocolate mousse, all frosted with buttercream). Everyone raved about how good it was and that it was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted. They also were able to perfectly replicate the design we wanted, we were over the moon thrilled with how it looked. Best part was our cake was included with our package through Ports O' Call. Sarah in the wedding cake showroom was really nice to deal with, very sweet and accommodating, and we really enjoyed doing our tasting with her. We ended up making a couple of changes to the cake a couple of weeks before the wedding, it was very easy and still came out exactly how we wanted.

When we were shopping for wedding cakes we were so surprised by how expensive they can get with bakeries that charge by the slice. At Torrance Bakery, they charge by the size of the cake and the ingredients/decoration type. We were able to get a beautiful, elegant and delicious cake for a very affordable price. We chose the banana cake as one and chocolate cake with chocolate and raspberry mousse as the other. It was so delicious people were asking for seconds!!

The experience with the bakery from walking in the door without an appointment to the delivery of the amazing cake was wonderful. They are well organized and offer great suggestions for our needs.
Honestly we ordered more cake than needed (our requested) and a month later I'm still eating the one tier we had left after placing it in storage containers to its doesn't dry out. Loved the cake and will go back for our next big event.

I got in touch with Torrance Bakery because they are a preferred vendor for Los Verdes Golf Course. They were very quick to respond to questions and provided a lot of convenient information on their website. The tasting was a very pleasant and easy experience as well. We tried flavors from other bakeries and found that the Torrance Bakery flavors were the best. We ordered the wedding white with fresh strawberries and french cream. They worked with my florist and venue to coordinate the delivery and decorations as well. Overall, I was very satisfied with their service.

The cake was beautiful and delicious! We had 3 different flavors and each one was just as amazing -- not too sweet and yet flavorful! Service was great, they're there on time and they followed every instructions requested by my daughter (the bride) and her groom. As mother of the bride food and cake are important and the cake was definitely a hit! Everyone was asking who was the vendor for the cake and we told them Torrance Bakery! My favorite bakery! I have used Torrance Bakery for a number of birthday parties and special occasions so it was very fitting that I chose them for my wedding cake. That being said, their service was impeccable. On the tasting, my husband and I tried numerous combinations and they were very accommodating on the tasting and working with us on the style of cake design. The wedding day went off without a hitch and all our guests loved the cake! Always a classic bakery and I look forward to continue to visit this bakery in the future.

Torrance Bakery was amazing throughout our planning process. Cake-tasting day was spectacular, and they helped us create a custom combination of flavors. They also helped to incorporate the design we had in mind, and on the big day the cake (in terms of both presentation and taste) was mind-blowingly fantastic. All of our guests loved it! I couldn't recommend Torrance Bakery more. It's a great value for the wonderful service you get (especially if you have the cake delivered to your venue, which I definitely recommend). They will help you create the best cake ever, and will happily accommodate design elements and flavors to make it truly one of a kind.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and best of all.....delicious! The people at Torrance Bakery were helpful and accommodating, and our cake turned out exactly as we imagined. They delivered it to the venue on time and everything was very smooth. The cake was absolutely delicious (we chose the banana / custard and marble / chocolate mousse flavors) and our guests loved it! We took the leftovers home and enjoyed wedding cake for the next two weeks :) I highly recommend Torrance Bakery for wedding cake needs.

Torrance Bakery made our delicious and beautiful wedding cake, through La Venta Inn. The white cake with strawberries and French cream was delicious and all our guests loved it. In addition, they were able to replicate a design I sent a picture of, and also provided a stand in the top layer to ensure our cake topper held up.

We hope to get a small replica cake on our anniversary next year.

We loved our cake. We had 4 tiers two of each layer which was the perfect amount for about 140 guests saving the top layer for ourselves. The cake tasting was delicious and they were very accommodating and explained logistics surrounding the cake. Their bakery next to their wedding cake shop isn't too shabby either :)

I've used Torrance Bakery many times for various celebrations and when the Sky Room referred me to them for my Wedding Cake, I was excited because I knew that they do such a great job. My husband and I made an appointment and missed it but they were able to get us in as soon as we were available. We worked with Kelly Watanabe and when we got there, she sat us down and showed us some of the cakes they had done in the past while she went to get our cake samples. The samples were all awesome and my husband and I decided on the white cake with Lemon and Raspberry for one layer and the marble cake with chocolate and dobash for the second layer.

The cake designs they had were beautiful but I already had a picture of a cake design that I liked and I showed it to her. She said we can do that and showed us a sample they had on display. After only 15 minutes of being there, Kelly got my order in and all the details for the cake taken care of. She was accommodating with the ribbon - all I had to do was go buy the color I wanted and bring it in and I also brought in the cake topper.

On the day of our wedding, I was sooo happy with the cake decorations and EVERYONE loved the cake - both flavors were so good!

We loved that Torrance Bakery had a cute little showroom just for wedding cakes and that they didn't charge by the slice. They were very patient and helpful throughout our tasting since we weren't sure how we wanted our cake to look (shape, texture, etc). I always use this bakery for any event and always recommend it to all my friends. Living in Torrance there is just no other bakery to go to this is the best place in town! I had an unusual design for my wedding cake. I had a custom cake stand made that had four separate tiers which meant I had four different cakes all covered in black icing! They researched "papel picado" and added that design to my cake so it matched my Day of the Dead theme. Thank you guys for never letting me down keep up the fantastic work!

Torrance Bakery was really easy to work with, and compared with prices I've heard other brides quote, very reasonable as well. MANY of my guests told me during the reception and afterwards that it was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted!
The process was very organized from the wedding tasting room, the ease of sending in and matching an inspiration photo, changing the order, secretly adding a groom's cake, and dropping off a fragile handmade cake topper.

Torrance bakery was hands down the choice for my wedding cake! Although may be 1 week before my wedding I received a call that the original person I had placed the order with, was no longer with the company.. Naturally I panicked because we had went over the specifics of what I wanted my cake to look like. I was thankful that Collette called and assured me that she was just as detailed oriented as myself , and would make sure that the cake would be perfect. Our cake was from Torrance Bakery, ordered through the NYFC staff at La Venta. We were so pleased with how the cake turned out. The cake was DELICIOUS. We three tiers--two tiers of white cake with fresh strawberries and French cream filling, and another tier with marble cake with chocolate mousse filling. Buttercream frosting. So yummy. All our guests loved the cake. It was beautifully decorated as well.

Torrance Bakery is a well known establishment here in So. CA that we frequent. When the venue told us which bakeries we could select from within our package deal, we immediately chose Torrance Bakery. Had a great experience working with them. Not only was the cake delicious, but it was beautiful. I was able to design my cake the way I wanted and still fell within the guidelines of what the venue allowed to be purchased.

We use Torrance Bakery for all our baking needs so I already had very high expectations of what Torrance would provide. Our wedding cake was absolutely perfect. Indria was extremely professional and helpful. We went to our tasting not knowing what we wanted and she helped us find the cake of our dreams that truly brought to life our Secret Garden theme. She worked with our florist to coordinate the flowers added to the cake and even allowed us to customize a design from the gallery. The cake tasted amazing and the guests all loved it. They ate the whole thing! (minus the top which we are saving for our anniversary). I will continue to buy all my cakes from Torrance for every occasion. They made the entire process very easy and even comped two cupcakes for our guests whose birthdays fell on our wedding day. If your are looking at other bakeries... STOP. Torrance is the one!

Best cake ever! I have always hated wedding cake so I wasn't super excited about this part of the wedding process. I was wrong!! Wedding cake is amazing...at least from Torrance Bakery. The tasting was awesome...they even have a cute room where they do the tasting. I never would have guessed, but the banana cake was my favorite! They made designing the cake super easy and even put a Hidden Mickey on my cake since I'm a Disney nut. Thank you so much!! Our cake was awesome :)

They were accommodating to our designs, I even changed some design details a month prior and it was no hassle. I will definitely be going to Torrance bakery for future children's birthdays and anniversary cakes! So delicious!

Our wedding cake was made by Torrance Bakery as part of the package we booked with our venue. Among the most beautiful things I remembered about our wedding day was the gorgeous three-tier cake that looked exactly like how I had wanted it. Torrance Bakery was incredible to work with. The staff was friendly and accommodating as well as talented. When we came for the cake testing, I brought along a picture I had found on the internet of my dream cake. They reassured me that they could make that cake, and even asked me to bring back a paint color swatch so that they match the cake color exactly. The hardest part was deciding which cake flavors to go with. We ended up picking two tiers of red velvet cake and one strawberry. Wow, both flavors tasted so delicious, moist, and not overly sweet. We had a lot of compliments from our wedding guests. The cake was delivered right on time on the morning of the wedding. It was a smooth ride for us with Torrance Bakery. We were very pleased.

Torrance Bakery was not our first choice when choosing a wedding cake, but it was certainly the right choice for us. We had tasted cake from 4 other bakeries but none of them was right for us, between delivery issues and cakes or frostings that were not quite right for us. At a friend's suggestion, we decided to try Torrance Bakery. It was not convenient for us to go to the showroom, so I went on my own and took samples back to my then fiance. I loved the showroom itself. Comfy seating for couples to sit and taste test cakes, with ipads set up to assist in finding the right design.

I loved, the cake, but even more, loved one of the designs in the window. Of course, I couldn't make this decision without my fiance's input, but pretty much knew we would be ordering our cake here when I took the samples back to him. I left with samples and a quote that was a couple of hundred dollars less than our second choice, including delivery.

Our wedding was this past Sunday and our guests loved the cake. It was beautiful, exactly as we had envisioned, and we had several comments from our guests that it was the best cake they'd ever had. Unfortunately, we were not really able to enjoy our cake because we were busy with our guests, but can't wait to go back at a later date to see just what we missed!

Ordered our wedding cake from Torrance Bakery as part of our wedding package through The Sky Room (great venue!) and we were thrilled with the results. The cake was both elegant and delicious. We got to choose three different combinations of cake and filling flavors for our three-tier cake and all of them turned out moist and flavorful. My personal favorite was banana cake with both a layer of banana cream filling and a layer of chocolate fudge filling...it was awesome! The bakery was kind enough to let us have two filling flavors in the banana cake for no extra charge. Our wedding guests reported they also really enjoyed the white cake with fresh strawberry and whip cream filling and the chocolate, chocolate, chocolate cake. We tasted cake at another bakery before visiting Torrance Bakery and the other cake didn't hold a candle to Torrance Bakery's cake taste and texture. Loved Torrance Bakery and will definitely order cake from them again!

This is a review for our Wedding cake.

WOW! That is what I said when I saw our cake at my wedding on Saturday. I am so excited to review and am happy to give T Bakery a 5 star! We came in to choose our flavors and design the cake in July. Our wedding was at the Double Tree and the cake came exclusively with the package we bought. In the wedding area of the bakery they have so many gorgeous cakes on display and the chairs you sit in make you really feel like you're getting married! Deciding on flavors was easy and they even took swatches from my bridesmaid dresses to match the cake! We chose lemon cake with raspberry filling for the bottom tier, banana cake and custard for the next, marbled fudge with amaretto filling, and our top fear was cream cheese and red velvet. I was so nervous/excited to see the cake because that was the one thing I had no clue how it was going to look. We chose a basic cake and changed all the colors. It was beautiful and so delicious. Communication was easy and when I had questions about the top tier diameter for my cake topper they responded immediately! Aside from being an awesome and professional bakery I totally recommend them. I wish I had known the cost of my cake so you can know the value of the cake I got for free!

Best cake eve! Red velvet with cream cheese frosting. How can you go wrong?! Also it looked amazing and everyone loved it. I was lucky to save a piece for my anniversary! :)

Changed my cake design three times and each time the staff was so polite and patient with me. Flavor choices are amazing! Wedding cake was delicious and moist!

Who doesn't love moist cake with creamy, sweet frosting?? Our wedding cake was a hit and everyone complimented us on how delicious it was! We have had Torrance bakery cakes at other weddings and they are consistent every time. The cake tasting was fun too. It was very difficult to narrow it down to three cakes so we ended up buying other cakes from their bakery. Yummy!!
